Well, our well pump completely failed last week and the pump could not be replaced because it was stuck in the old metal casing, and new well had to be drilled. Needless to to say having no water would have been an issue but Ted sent a crew out immediately to hook up a 300 gallon fresh water tank with an independent pump system that allowed us to continue to have running water until they were able to get a new well drilled for us! This was literally a huge relief just knowing that we would have water even though our well was broken. I'm not sure how many other companies would have dropped their scheduled work loads to help a customer that was literally helpless without running water, but Ted and his company did just that!!! This is a family owned and operated business, and they treat their customers like they are family. I highly recommend them for any of your water related issues, they are fair priced and most importantly they are truly there for their customers. Thank you Ted, Ted Jr and the rest of the crew for putting our water issue at the top of your priority list, it meant the world to our family.

This was not our first water softening system so we did not go into this clueless and he was awful. I was the one to call and confirm we would like the system installed, and I told him which one we wanted - the $4,000 system with wifi and a whole house filter to remove the chlorine. When they came to install the system they did not have the wifi element or the whole home filter. The installation tech was so rude to me. Couldn't give me the time of day, and when he asked me about adding a $250 piece of equipment as I was rushing out the door I said he'd have to talk to my husband and he said "yeah, I figured" as if I couldn't possibly be able to make that decision. Had I not been running out the door and could actually discuss what it is you are trying to sell me, I would have been the person to ask. I asked multiple times for the salesman's number so I could verify with him what we were getting, but the installation tech, Kevin, would not give me Bill's phone number. He only called the guy and said "he will give you a call". I never received a call. I ended up calling the main line to ask if they could send me a copy of the brochure so I could show the installation tech, and of course they could not only Bill could do that. I confirmed with the front office lady that I was the primary contact and I would like a call back that day. I never received a call. Bill did call my husband, though. Not me. After everything is said and done, we were nickel and dimed to death so that the system we were supposed to have at $4k has now cost $5k. I am so disappointed and angry. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

The Yelp search distribution was a great service and Proficient responded quickly and gained my confidence with our phone call. My parents and their caregiver were comfortable with the employee and the cost was reasonable and met my expectations. Proficient Plumbing is now in my phone contacts for any future needs.
