When I went back he was every rude I was trying to explain the teeth didn't meet and line up with my upper teeth I didn't even get to tell him what the problem was and he started yelling at me and told me he would allow me to use the temporary denture until I could find another dentist to make a permanent denture. I have had bad experiences with dentist in the past. But this was by far the worst ever. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I will not hesitate to refer Comdent to family, friends and others. So far my experience has been exceptional. We are only halfway done and I'm already smiling and that's something I haven't done in a long time... I take pictures showing my teeth and talk without covering my mouth. Comdent dental has given me something that I haven't had in a long time... confidence speaking with others and greeting them with a smile. I highly recommend Dr. Hall and his very professional/knowledgeable and extremely friendly crew. I know that's a lot of adjectives, but that's how excited I am about my new smile.

They looked it up to find out I did not receive a text because I opted out (in the past I felt like they were spamming me with text) and then listed two dates they called me. One for insurance info and then to ask me to change my appointment time. I would count a call asking for a time change and me agreeing as I am confirming I will be there! Wil not be returning.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST…read more I went here a year ago and they said I had 9 cavities. yes, 9. This seemed a little strange since I eat fairly healthily, don't drink soft drinks, and brush and floss regularly, although I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years because I didn't have insurance. They then said I would have to pay over $1500 out of pocket for the work (or use their dental credit affiliate) This did not sound or feel right, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and they said I had NO CAVITIES. Basically, Edgewood might be scamming people- I can't speak for everyone, but in my case- that was a lot of unnecessary work that would have been done. It is disappointing that people with knowledge and power would take advantage of others for money. I am a grad student, Indianapolis resident and am not with any competing dentist trying to mud sling other dentists through reviews.

I came to Emerson Ave Dental (which is now located on Thompson, just past the Arlington light,…read moreheading toward Kroger) because my sister's been a patient of Dr. Bacsa's for years now. My first impression was probably more of a four star -- I hadn't been to the dentist since I moved and there's always that initial hesitation with a new health care practice. Will they be the people you need and can trust with your care? On my first visit, I went for a standard cleaning and exam. (They offer a nice $300 option for self-pay folks where you get your two yearly exams and cleanings, plus an insurance of sorts so you pay less for any additional work you need done that year.) Their office is much more thorough and advanced than my previous dentist. They took all the needed scans (and accommodated my need for a thyroid/neck cover before taking them without batting an eye) and took their time cleaning my teeth to make sure it was done well. Even still, I was out in just shy of an hour. Read: they are knowledgeable, efficient, and do their work well. On my second visit, I was having some fill ins done. This visit was a longer one and I was really impressed by the way they made sure I was comfortable. "Do you need anything? A pillow for your neck? A blanket? Some water?" I've never been offered a blanket at the dentist before this and now I'm spoiled for all others because yes, I did want a blanket! And it was soft as can be. I had my headphones and phone and spent the entire time listening to music loudly enough to cover the worst of the tool sounds during their work. They were completely fine with that, and even encouraged it. Rosemary was the hygienist helping Dr. Bacsa's work on my teeth and she was a very soothing presence. It was clear she knew what she was doing and I really liked her. She coached me to focus on my breath in and out of my nose when they needed to use this suctioning mouth-opener that took a little getting used to. I'd request her at another appointment; she's that great! After my longer appointment, I'm definitely giving this office 5 stars. They're good. They make sure you're comfortable, willing to answer any questions and help you relax. They called me the next day to make sure I was okay, too. It's clear that they do genuinely care for their patients, which is refreshing to see paired with such professionalism and knowledge in their practice. Only things to note: it can take over a month to get your next appointment, depending on the schedule. They're good and it shows in their booking availability! And I've had a couple moments of confusion with the front desk with payments but it was sorted out fairly quickly so I'm not worried about it.

I'm always in and out pretty quickly but I usually choose a weekday morning before work. Everyone is really friendly and it makes a twice-a-year visit not as bad as I'm usually worried about.

I have referred Annette Farthing to my family and to my friends who still have children going there. TODAY they showed they have no loyalty to their families. My sister took my daughter there today for me and they said the insurance was not active. I have no idea why, my niece who was there as well is on the same insurance and yet she was active. I spoke to office manager and there was NO WAY they were going to help me out. I must pay $240 for my child to have teeth cleaned. They wouldn't bill me, no discount, no anything. I went there after work and wanted to speak to the dentist and she would not see me. The office lady again repeated herself and said they have "too many turn overs" to get payment later. Well I'm not a turn over when my oldest child is 25 and youngest 14 and we've been there twice a year for many many years. It's super sad that loyalty or compassion doesn't exist here. That they would rather lose a patient than help me out. Had I known this was Annette Farthing's real attitude towards families, or that she can't even speak to me, I would have never gone. Plus $240? My dentist cash payment is $125. What a joke.

I remember several times of me leaving here sobbing because they pulled my barely loose tooth without any warning or numbing gel. It was always a anxiety filled and overall terrible process going here. I always had some problems with my teeth growing up; like one of them never growing in and this place just helped fuel my fear of the dentist. I'm 20 now and still haven't seen a dentist since I was 17 because Annette scarred me. I'm glad she's retiring; hopefully it'll be better with Papineau in charge and it won't leave a bunch of children scared of the dentist.
