I payed over a thousand dollars lump sum and the best they had for me was to go to Indianapolis at 9:30 am tmrw. on top of all of this during the nine months they hadn't seen me they refused to answer my calls. they didn't see me from July to April when they told me they got a new ortho in October I called every day for weeks and they didn't answer I left so many voicemails that their mail box was full. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I would not recommend going there at all I would have payed double the amount had I known I would have this many issues with them. I wanted my braces taken off if they are going to continue this and now they want to charge me 250 bucks on top of having to restart my treatment somewhere else. Terre haute lafayette and Indianapolis are horrible. Pippen dental as a company should not be in service. Ive never made a yelp review but this issue has been going on for 2 years I was supposed to have my braces off in October this year but now I have my treatment prolonged for another year. And told me not to be bad mouthing him in front of his other patients. Yet, he is the one that stood in a room and yelled at the top of his lungs at me. This is the same dentist's office where my mother witnessed a drug deal happened right in the.Reception area. The quality of care when he first started, his practice was beyond amazing.The quality of care now I don't know because I refuse to go back to him.I got to the point where I would literally only go to this practice if I had to. I also recall once that I had broken.My tooth off and I called first thing.The next morning to see if I could get an emergency appointment and the receptionist told me that they did not have emergency appointments.And when I asked to speak to the dentist himself, I was told that he did not take phone calls.And I was being that I was being rude to her when, in fact, I was not and most dentist offices and or doctor's offices have in empty slots for emergencies. They then said I would have to pay over $1500 out of pocket for the work (or use their dental credit affiliate) This did not sound or feel right, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and they said I had NO CAVITIES. Basically, Edgewood might be scamming people- I can't speak for everyone, but in my case- that was a lot of unnecessary work that would have been done. It is disappointing that people with knowledge and power would take advantage of others for money. I am a grad student, Indianapolis resident and am not with any competing dentist trying to mud sling other dentists through reviews.

Then she cleaned my husbands teeth and he complained about how she hurt his gums while cleaning his teeth. Then he said he needed to take painkillers after he got home. I also had my teeth cleaned a few weeks ago and she was too rough as well. We've never had this kind of experience there and have been patients for 10 years. This needs to be addressed. I'm not sure if she's new or not. Another issue is we have 2 free cleanings a year which is every 6 months with our insurance. They have been scheduling us every 8-9 months which most times is only once a year. If he has so many patients maybe it's time to hire another dentist to work with him. We should be scheduled every 6 months. Maybe it's time to find another dentist.

I expected a hole in the wall, dingy kind of place. What I found was a welcoming light, airy and modern office. The staff was friendly and answered my millions of questions very patiently. The dentist did great work with minimal pain. He even took the time to try and calm me down since I am deadly afraid of dentist and any kind of dental work. I have to say that the experience here was so much better than i anticipated. I would highly recommend this place. Especially if you have an emergency.
