I have contacted them about the warranty and company failed to respond even after a certified letter. We have video and photo evidence that shows complete damage to our property, even after they attempted to resolve an issue. The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. See you in court very soon!

I had 4 quotes total and these guys had the best price by far and they were rated highly on YELP. So I gave them the order. The workers worked neatly and efficiently. When i inspected the work after they left for the day, I found 3 minor issues to be fixed. I took pictures of them and sent them to the saleslady, Malak. The workers came back the next day and repaired them to my satisfaction. I wanted to rearrange some of the furniture and the workers were happy to so. I recommend the Flooring Co. for tile installation

After growing tired and weary with pointing out the shabby workmanship of the Crew of this project and the lack of leadership exhibited by Nate the Supervisor of this project who employed these workers, has left me with hardwood floors laid with splinters that could cause future injury and other bad pieces laid without being fully inspected. Along with a hardwood floor covering and molding not properly connected to wall and floor, and containing gaps that can be seen through to the next level of flooring. I was told in order to correct his problem a section of the hardwood floor would have to be torn out exposing me to additional dust particles, which would affect my breathing. In addition to a two-man crew who showed no respect for my health nor my home when they stored a large power saw in the closet of one of my bed- rooms without my knowledge or permission and threw debris out onto the ground covering of my front yard, which they left until told to clean up. When I approached one of the crew members about leaving that saw in my closet and having heart and lung problems. He said,"That saw dust is not going to bother you". I found him and his comments to be discourteous and ignorant. When I called on Nate, the Supervisor to intervene,he accused me of trying to make him the "Bad Guy". When I pointed out flaws in the work,Nate said," "There was no use in my rehashing comments nobody was wrong". I have never heard of such a preposterous response. Nate refuse to be held accountable. I decided I wanted this project over and done with. ...so, I called Nate to tell him I would be in to pay off the balance due. However, while dusting my audio visual storage cabinet (1/3/23) I discovered my disc player was missing. When I reported the theft of this piece of equipment to Nate, his first response was,"It was dated equipment". Which indicated he was aware of it,and the fact that it was missing was acceptable to him because he viewed it as dated equipment. It was then that I indicated I would be making a police report. Nate then said,"He would be asking the men who laid the floor if they had seen it". But never mentions when I go in to pay off the account. Nate also refuse to sign the receipt after I paid off the account. Where he said,"He had never heard of signing a receipt". Even though there is a place for his signature on the receipt he gave to me. Again buyer beware, this is a dishonest business operation. Sue M.

I would not recommend this company…read more What should've been a straightforward flooring project turned into months of delays, poor workmanship, repeated repairs, and ongoing flooring failures. We hired Urban Floors to refinish our existing wood floors and install new carpet. The project manager arrived over an hour late to our consultation after both myself and the office manager repeatedly called him to wake him up. He assured us the floors could be refinished. After waiting more than a month, I pointed out to the installer that I believed the flooring was engineered wood and could not be refinished. He confirmed I was correct. This mistake should've been caught during the original assessment. As a result, we had to wait for replacement flooring to be ordered, delaying our move-in and forcing us to live around an unfinished project. The installation itself was problematic. The boards under our kitchen table immediately bowed at the seams. We were told the floor would "settle," but it never did. The project manager was difficult to work with throughout the process, including missed details, repeated lateness, and delays in ordering materials needed for repairs. After months of follow-up, they finally sent someone out to repair the floor, which made it even worse. The installer left blood on our floor, created larger gaps, and left raised joints with sharp edges. We have small children and had to cover parts of our brand-new floor with rugs while waiting for the company to return. The carpet near our basement stairs was left unfinished. Caulking in multiple areas was done so poorly that we had to fix portions ourselves. After paying for professional installation, we should not have had to spend our own time correcting basic finishing work. After additional complaints, another installer informed us that the subfloor was uneven and that the flooring would likely continue separating and bowing. The subfloor issue was never addressed and we were told to cover the problem areas with rugs. The repeated repair attempts caused damaged requiring us to have cabinets and trim repainted. When we requested reimbursement for those costs, we were met with resistance rather than accountability. Today, the floor still has separating joints and bowing in multiple areas and continue to get worse. After months of delays, repeated repair attempts, property damage, safety concerns, unfinished work, and unresolved defects, we have lost confidence in the company and need to hire another contractor to correct the work.
