It's a super sweet spot to select slabs of granite, quartz, and tile backsplash, with a lot of variety. I really appreciate that they're open later on Thursdays, as my husband works until 5 in Dearborn and we live an hour away or more during rush hour time. I work weekends so we weren't really able to get here together any other time. I'm not sure if this is normal, but there were only two people on the floor in the evening, so I kept hearing "It'll be just a minute/few minutes" from Ajay and Lisa. My husband was also told that the slabs were 'sister slabs' and they didn't want to pull it so we could see the second 'sister', but he insisted, especially with the amount of money that we are spending! (Natural stone = never completely identical. It actually had flaws in it that my husband actually liked more!) Just a heads up, nobody under 12 is allowed in the back where the slabs are, and you're going to be wearing a hard hat. These slabs weigh up to like 1200 lbs! The only way this place could be better is if they had sugar free sweetener options for the coffee. Everything else was pretty smooth sailing.

This small angle piece of Azul Platino is really nice near the back door. Lots of shine and sparkle here.

We had an interesting experience picking out countertop on February 8, 2018 right after the final measurements of our cabinets and it's good that we did. The granite that we picked out at the Home Depot was not the granite that we chose in the warehouse. We had a little wait after logging into the facility before we were given our hard hats and pointed in the general direction of the granite that we selected. It was interesting to look at all the sparkling and gleaming slabs of granite and marble, especially all the ones outside of our price point. We selected our slab and waited and waited and waited for the young woman who took us into the showroom, said she would be right back, and we never saw her again. Finally another woman saw us waiting asked if she could help and she ended up finishing the order for us. We were told it would be about two weeks. Excellent, we left feeling pretty positive (even though I was wondering if the original young lady had been fired before we could place our order). I know that kitchen renovations take a long time, but when we were told that it would be two weeks, it was my understanding that the countertop would be finished in two weeks, not that they would start thinking about cutting the damn (sorry) thing in two weeks. It was over four weeks when the countertop was finally installed (over 3 months since we started our kitchen project) from the day that we chose our countertop. Why not just say it's going to be four weeks due to a backlog of orders, lack of qualified stone cutters in Michigan, etc. Lie to me, I won't know. Just tell me up front. That being said, the stone we picked out is beautiful and I really love it. It's very well cut, the corners are shaped perfectly, it glistens and gleams in the sun. I love the Azul Platino - mostly white and black with mica bits that shine gold, silver and copper. We made a good decision. Home Depot might need to re-think their business relationship with MSI. If I was to rate on the granite product, it would be a 5 star. If it was to rate on customer service, it would be a 1.5 to a 2 star. Thus, the 3 star recommendation is the best that I can do.

The Flooring Company sent out a cleaning crew and painter to attempt to resolve some issue, which ultimately failed. There are numerous soft spots throughout the floors, confirmed by numerous contractors after installation. We aren't asking for perfection but a professional job after spending over $25,000 for flooring. Your business practices we have experienced has been deceptive and unprofessional. UPDATE: Owner sent me an email asking to remove my bad review or he will pursue legal action. Watch out! Deceitful! The photos reflect the condition of which The Flooring Company LLC left my property in after they completed the job. I had to complain and push to get a cleaning crew which was ineffective (I had to spend $400 to get a cleaning crew to come out after The Flooring Company LLC's cleaning crew "cleaned" the property). Additionally, The Flooring Company LLC hired a painter to patch the damage to my walls, which did a poor job. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional company. I'm looking forward to The Flooring Company LLC to post the final images and videos of their flooring at my property--which would be downright embarrassing for their company. After growing tired and weary with pointing out the shabby workmanship of the Crew of this project and the lack of leadership exhibited by Nate the Supervisor of this project who employed these workers, has left me with hardwood floors laid with splinters that could cause future injury and other bad pieces laid without being fully inspected. Along with a hardwood floor covering and molding not properly connected to wall and floor, and containing gaps that can be seen through to the next level of flooring. I was told in order to correct his problem a section of the hardwood floor would have to be torn out exposing me to additional dust particles, which would affect my breathing. In addition to a two-man crew who showed no respect for my health nor my home when they stored a large power saw in the closet of one of my bed- rooms without my knowledge or permission and threw debris out onto the ground covering of my front yard, which they left until told to clean up. When I approached one of the crew members about leaving that saw in my closet and having heart and lung problems. He said,"That saw dust is not going to bother you". I found him and his comments to be discourteous and ignorant. When I called on Nate, the Supervisor to intervene,he accused me of trying to make him the "Bad Guy". When I pointed out flaws in the work,Nate said," "There was no use in my rehashing comments nobody was wrong". I have never heard of such a preposterous response. Nate refuse to be held accountable. I decided I wanted this project over and done with. ...so, I called Nate to tell him I would be in to pay off the balance due. However, while dusting my audio visual storage cabinet (1/3/23) I discovered my disc player was missing. When I reported the theft of this piece of equipment to Nate, his first response was,"It was dated equipment". Which indicated he was aware of it,and the fact that it was missing was acceptable to him because he viewed it as dated equipment. It was then that I indicated I would be making a police report. Nate then said,"He would be asking the men who laid the floor if they had seen it". But never mentions when I go in to pay off the account. Nate also refuse to sign the receipt after I paid off the account. Where he said,"He had never heard of signing a receipt". Even though there is a place for his signature on the receipt he gave to me. Again buyer beware, this is a dishonest business operation. Sue M.

I would not recommend this company…read more What should've been a straightforward flooring project turned into months of delays, poor workmanship, repeated repairs, and ongoing flooring failures. We hired Urban Floors to refinish our existing wood floors and install new carpet. The project manager arrived over an hour late to our consultation after both myself and the office manager repeatedly called him to wake him up. He assured us the floors could be refinished. After waiting more than a month, I pointed out to the installer that I believed the flooring was engineered wood and could not be refinished. He confirmed I was correct. This mistake should've been caught during the original assessment. As a result, we had to wait for replacement flooring to be ordered, delaying our move-in and forcing us to live around an unfinished project. The installation itself was problematic. The boards under our kitchen table immediately bowed at the seams. We were told the floor would "settle," but it never did. The project manager was difficult to work with throughout the process, including missed details, repeated lateness, and delays in ordering materials needed for repairs. After months of follow-up, they finally sent someone out to repair the floor, which made it even worse. The installer left blood on our floor, created larger gaps, and left raised joints with sharp edges. We have small children and had to cover parts of our brand-new floor with rugs while waiting for the company to return. The carpet near our basement stairs was left unfinished. Caulking in multiple areas was done so poorly that we had to fix portions ourselves. After paying for professional installation, we should not have had to spend our own time correcting basic finishing work. After additional complaints, another installer informed us that the subfloor was uneven and that the flooring would likely continue separating and bowing. The subfloor issue was never addressed and we were told to cover the problem areas with rugs. The repeated repair attempts caused damaged requiring us to have cabinets and trim repainted. When we requested reimbursement for those costs, we were met with resistance rather than accountability. Today, the floor still has separating joints and bowing in multiple areas and continue to get worse. After months of delays, repeated repair attempts, property damage, safety concerns, unfinished work, and unresolved defects, we have lost confidence in the company and need to hire another contractor to correct the work.

Ironically, I would describe him as rude and unprofessional rather than "magic." We had a scheduled appointment for our roof installation; however, no one contacted us to inform us that the appointment would not be kept. Instead, we were the ones who had to call on the scheduled day after taking time off work and waiting at home, expecting the installation to begin. When we reached "Majic Mike," he was extremely rude and dismissive. He stated, and I quote, "There were 36 people scheduled. I didn't have time to call." He then told us that the missed appointment was essentially not his problem and that he did not care whether we rescheduled in one day, one week, or one month because he was "a busy man" regardless of our business. I was so disappointed by his lack of professionalism and customer service that I ended the call. I then contacted our salesperson, Keith Wysocki, who was very apologetic and immediately worked to address the situation. The Customer Service Supervisor also called me back to apologize and help resolve the issue. It is solely because of the professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine concern shown by Keith and the Customer Service Supervisor that we chose not to cancel our project. They restored our confidence and demonstrated the level of customer service we had expected from the beginning. We signed our contract in July 2025, and what followed was nearly a YEAR of delays, mistakes, and terrible communication. We dealt with broken window sills, incorrect measurements, Marble-Lite being installed when we ordered real marble, real marble arriving broken TWICE, and multiple attempts just to get the correct bathroom window. Our project was not properly completed until nearly a year after signing. Throughout the entire process, we constantly had to chase Majic for answers and updates. After the project was finally completed, management told me they would address compensation for everything we went through. I have followed up multiple times since and have received no resolution and now not even the courtesy of a response. Completing the project nearly a year later does not erase what it took to get there. The lack of accountability, communication, and follow-through is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and look literally ANYWHERE else. After our experience, I cannot imagine knowingly choosing to do business with Majic Windows. My family deeply regrets choosing them, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
