Sundance had a urinary blockage & was in extreme pain and would have died by the following day. When I called to let them k ow we would not be back & why, the girl seemed just as unconcerned as before. My husband grew up with Felix and Ben and we really liked them. We are all now retired and we sadly find ourselves missing those who were actually concerned about the patients and not just the bucks.

The next morning our dog had to go back to the vet so they could make sure she was recovering properly, there I was able to meet the some of the staff who were just as polite and helpful. When we arrived after an hour of driving through heavy two-way traffic. I stopped outside her facility and allowed my dog to stretch his legs and relieve himself. Out of nowhere, this old lady started giving me the third degree regarding my intentions. I guess I didn't take to a total stranger giving their impression of my intention. To my shagreen, this rude woman was the owner of this establishment and told me she would not serve my sick pet. My wife took my dog inside the facility and was turned away. OK, maybe my response could have been more polished, but to turn away a sick animal to spite me is all wrong. So I'll have the last reply to a very long day. Oh, by the way, I had to bring home a sick dog whose only fault was having a caring dad. So to this owner I wish --- her business do poorly and she remember; turning away a being in true need is not sharing a coat, a bit of bread, or a kind word. The front desk clerk was probably the rudest, least helpful receptionist I've ever encountered. I explained the situation, hoping the vet would be kind enough to end the poor kitten's suffering, but it was obvious this lady didn't want me in her office as she informed me that I would be responsible for the fees incurred by euthanizing the cat. I told her again it was not my cat, I just brought it to the nearest vet and I couldn't afford to pay. She stomped into another room without comment, and returned to tell me that the vet, obviously a more reasonable and compassionate person, would take care of the kitten. Then, the truth came out. It seems her terrible attitude was all my fault because I wasn't wearing a MASK!!! "You're not even supposed to be in here without a mask," she huffed, while her own mask DANGLED FROM ONE EAR. Keep in mind that we were separated by plexiglass and I was the only other person in the office! Anyway, I wanted to thank the kind vet, whoever they are, for doing the right thing and relieving the poor kitten from its fear and suffering. I'll gladly refer others to your business, but perhaps you should look for a new receptionist.
