My Zoi has been going to Perry Animal Hospital for 10 plus years! Everyone treats her as if she's a special part of their family. We've had several surgeries and many minor or maintenance visits and I can honestly say I feel safe leaving my precious Girl In the hands of anyone in this establishment. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. My elderly dog, Ally, was suffering from a chronic cough, which other clinics in town had failed to diagnose. Not only did Dr. King at Perry Animal Hospital figure out what was going on with her, she gave us the medication that allowed Ally to live out the remainder of her life in comfort. And when the time came, Dr. King and the entire staff were so incredibly caring and accommodating to us in the last few days of Ally's life. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the amount of support we received, and how willing they were to help us send Ally off in the most peaceful way possible. This clinic truly cares about peoples' pets, and I couldn't recommend them more to anyone in the middle Georgia area. read more

My mother and father brought my grandmothers dog that he inherited after my grandmother died. The dog needed to be put to sleep. The staff was very companionate allowed them to stay with him until he passed away. Then placed him in a little coffin to allow them to take him home to lay him to rest at home. These people are very companionate and always respectful. I would give more then 5 stars if i could read more

I have gladly used Perry Animal Hospital for years and will continue to. They are so kind and compassionate and care about each one of our babies. They love it when our bunnies come see them and our newest addition, Graycie, had her first visit today and they all loved her. I can't thank them enough for all that they do. read more

Took my dog here for an ear infection, they put a muzzle on her before going in her ear. As any animal who is already in pain from the infection is going to resist. The one lady had my dogs front legs folded back so hard you could see her shoulder bone. I thought jeez that's a bit much for a 25lb dog. They continued this a few more tries as my dog is looking at me now in panic to help her. They proceed to say we're going to have to take her in the back. I didn't want them to b/c I wanted to be there to let her know she was ok. They go in the back, low and behold I hear the most wretched screaming and gurgling noises, I can literally hear my dog sounding as if she was being drowned. I came out to try and figure out what room she was in to get them to stop whatever they were doing. I asked the lady in the front where was my dog and she said that she'd be fine, but even she had a concerned look on her face. I continued to hear my dogs voice gurgle and scream loud trembling yelps. I was in tears b/c I couldn't go help her. So they come back in, the tech was taking a choke chain off my dog?? They had no need and should have asked before putting a choke chain on her as she already had a muzzle on. Thick white cream was coming out of her ear, her eyes were red, she was panting to the gods? They scurried on out while luckily I had a bottle of water with me as she drank the whole bottle, the water that didn't hit the floor due to me cupping my hands to feed it to her. They didn't bother to stick around because they knew the way they handled her was excessive. Even her pants were raspy?? They literally choked the $@!+ out of my dog! Once I got home it took me almost an hour of coaxing to get her to calm down, she panted for another two hours. Within the week my dog started to yelp out in the middle of the night when she would roll over? I realized it was her upper body hurting due to the way she was handled the couple days before. I hurried to call the same ppl who cause this and they wanted to charge me $200 for an X-ray b/c it was after hours? She didn't need an X-ray she needed pain meds from the way they rough housed her the other day but go figure. Needless to say i had to miss a few hours of work because I wouldn't dare leave her and not know what's going on with her. I gave her water walked her to make sure she wasn't constipated, gave her aspirin and fed her a soft cooked meal with mashed sweet potatoes walked her again and she seemed to be fine. Within the same week after this horrific ordeal, my dog developed a thick scab ring around her neck, again from the dang choke collar these ppl used? You don't man handle ppl pets in this manner, and I mentioned to them they should have used a mild sedative before putting her through that, in which they agreed and said they would for her check-up. Check-up??!! She won't step paw back in here! I told them I wouldn't bring her back for a check up. I only took her there because I couldn't get a quicker visit in from her regular vet. Idk if this was a new veterinarian or what? But if this is the same person treating other people's dogs when they come there, I don't see how they're still open or haven't been slapped with a lawsuit. read more
