This review is about more than seeing Tank this morning; this is for the level of professionalism you and your entire staff show when I reached out this morning. I'm not sure if you're aware of the time I called, or the time a return call was given to me, so I'll include that information when I express my gratitude by highlighting my experience with Dr. Reese and her team. Around 20 Jan., Dr. Reese saw my little American Bully buddy Tank. He was diagnosed with an ulcer in his eye. Dr. Reese was thorough with her diagnosis explanation, as well as the treatment best suited for this situation. Moving a little fast from then to now, Tank was on the healing side of his ulcer until this past weekend. Possibly scratched his eye or had something in it. Part of me was hoping this was part of the healing process, but something wasn't right. I called the Animal Hospital Dr. Reese worked at on the morning of 28 Jan., around 0730, concerned Tank's eye was at a state of irreversible damage and possibly causing much more pain to spread due to the swelling. Knowing the office didn't open until 0830, I wanted to be one of the first to receive a callback. To my surprise, I received a call at 0803 letting me know they could see Tank at 1000. Remember, the office opens at 0830 and I received a call at 0803. I arrived at 0930 and was taken to a room. Waiting a very short period of time, Tank was weighed, temperature checked, doctors collaborated on Tank's condition, and I was given the available options with his best interest at heart. With the information I was given, my wife and I was able to decide on Tank's treatment. While we never wanted to be in this predicament, Tank's health and well-being was our, and the doctor's, primary concern. We opted to have his eye removed. Within six and a half hours, I reached out and our little buddy was in and out of surgery. Not to mention, the cost was more than reasonable. Conclusion: We have had many veterinarians in the past, as we have rescued a lot of furbabies. Dr. Reese has quickly become part of our family. Personable and caring, the staff doesn't try to get you "in and out". The doctors don't try to load you up with medicines. Instead, the staff is professional, patient, and understanding. Dr. Reese listens to your concerns, educates and explains any treatments of medical issues, and above all...LOVES your furbabies like her own. To Dr. Reese, thank you, from the bottom our hearts. Our dog was bitten by another dog on a Sunday evening and needed surgery. Dr. Hutchens met us at their clinic immediately and was sincerely concerned about our dog. Dr. Hutchens had a calming demeanor and confidently assured us that everything would be okay. After surgery, Dr. Hutchens took the time to walk us through exactly what he did to repair our dog's wounds. The next morning our dog had to go back to the vet so they could make sure she was recovering properly, there I was able to meet the some of the staff who were just as polite and helpful. Anyone who is new to the area and may be looking for a vet clinic, Westmoreland and Slappy is the way to go. It is refreshing to know there is a vet clinic/hospital in the Warner Robins area where the people are as good as their practice. I recently PCS'd to Robins AFB and had no idea where to take my dog. We got extremely lucky we found Westmoreland and Slappy Animal Hospital. Every chance I get I will recommend Westmoreland and Slappy Animal Hospital.

Pam and Melanie worked with the docs to make sure we had enough replacement medicine to keep our Bella healthy until we receive the shipped meds. They really care about their customers and patients and are just wonderful to work with.

We started taking our Coco to Critter Fixer recently, after moving to the area. It is important…read morethat wherever we take our fur baby, they also offer boarding. Unfortunately, Coco has digestive issues, and if we ever have to board him, we would rather have him at a veterinary hospital that is familiar with his medical needs. The staff is always friendly, and the veterinarians take their time when telling us exactly what needs to be done to keep our little one in the best health. My husband and I had a couple of occasions outside of Coco's annual visits where our pup needed medical care, and Critter Fixer was able to accommodate us within hours. Their boarding service is reasonably priced, and they even take the dogs on daily walks during boarding so they can get some exercise. I'm not sure what the boarding facilities look like, but I will say that my Coco did not seem traumatized after his stay, so it must have been decent. My only issue is that it is not easy to get them on the phone. They have a phone service that answers and will try to transfer you, and if no one answers, they take a message and have the office call you back. Since we live about 10 minutes away, usually my husband will drive to their office to schedule appointments, but it is definitely inconvenient and annoying. Overall, we are pleased with the service and glad to have a place to take our fur baby for all his needs.
