Their staffs are so amazing and I love how fast learning they are with American Sign Language

I have been coming here since the day they opened in LP. I use to prefer this urgent care for me and my kids over the other local ones. Reason being is that me and my kids had a rapport with this place. The regular staff members are great. I can't say the same for the weekend/irregular staff. Today me and my daughter came in to the office in very bad conditions. I myself can barely walk or walk due to my pain. Just for the staff to hassle me as if I was a new. They have our insurance information and id. It's the new year so I know all the Insurance and Ids need to be rescanned. But this was not the case for everyone. They got my id and had me sign an insurance waiver saying that "due to the weekend they could not verify any insurance". Me and my daughter sat in the waiting room in severe pain as they called multiple people that came after us. I asked why are we still waiting and not getting called? The receptionist said, "maybe she finished her paper work before you". I said, "no we completed everything even the insurance waiver". So again another person came in after us, and was seen. They did not sign an insurance waiver or anything. So I asked and the medical assistant that was calling people back said, "oh what's your name, are you the 2". I said, "yeah, you saw us sitting in the waiting room as you keep calling new people that walk in". As she shut the door and said "a room is being prepared now" as she continued to take the new patient to the room that just opened. So again, I asked the receptionist. "Are we waiting on something? Is something wrong". The lady with the dark hair and glasses was nonchalant and acted careless. The other woman with the Curley orange hair said, "on the weekend the Insurance verification systems is down. So we can't verify insurance that's why we had you sign the waiver". I asked "is it down for everyone or just certain people because no one else is being called up to the desk to complete a waiver". I told them that this was discriminatory and unacceptable. We got called back shortly into one room with one chair and a bed. I said, "I thought we was waiting on a specific room to be prepared for 2 people". The medical assistant looked shocked as he said, "prepared? All the rooms are the same with one chair". It's obvious that we were being discriminated against. They didn't even tell me a price to pay if they questioned my insurance. I've been coming here again since they opened and don't have a bill or anything. I'm so upset. I will be making a report with the proper channels and will not return or recommend this place to anyone else. read more

We've taken our son just about every time he's gotten sick. They are always very helpful and answer all of our questions

Friendly but do not recommend to take your babies here. It was a quick check and ready to go home. As if all they care about is freaking money. Took my baby for a fever and they gave him a high dosage of amoxicillin for my sons ear infection, did a check up with his pediatrician 3 days later and she said that dosage was way too high for a baby. Never taking my son there. He had an allergic reaction because of how much medication they prescribed him. My poor baby. read more

Let me just say it pains me to leave a one star review based off of one horrible individual named Jennifer, everyone else, Jamilia at the front, she was an absolute delight , the lovely ladies who worked hard to figure out insurance while getting yelled at and belittled by Jennifer all while trying to do their jobs, as if the world is not under enough stress here comes Jennifer... I actually heard her say to a young woman that she clearly knew " if you have covid you deserve it " what? Why can I hear your entire conversation while waiting in the line, why can I hear you yelling about others insurance and their business , ever heard of HIPPA? I don't know who hired that nightmare but she is so mean and ugly to everyone around her ... eww However the people that administrated the tests were lovely, so friendly. Get rid of that nightmare You have on the office surely there are laws that protect your employees from her and your patients information.. read more

No a place I would recommend, expect much much longer than wait times (additional 1.5hrs) while they make excuses. There most clever trick is, "we will call you when it's time to come in." They never call, you have to call, and then they give you more instructions to complete just so they can request a callback. They'll get the job done for sure just be mighty patient. I hate going to the doctors. When I came here I felt that they really cared about their patients. They prescribed some medicine and my symptoms cleared up immediately. The doctors there are great and I recommend this place to everyone. read more

Amazing service, I felt like family as soon as I walked through the door. The ladies were all so sweet and caring. It's nice to see people genuinely passionate about their careers during these trying times. Totally the worst white trash urgent care ever! The place is shabby and run down and there is litter everywhere! To top it off, the office manager Jennifer is rude and looks right in place with the trashy company. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are trying to get hepatitis. read more

Unfortunately my families experience here was horrifying. I arrived at the urgent care which I had been seen at previously myself as well as some of my children and generally those previous experiences were fine ...But this visit I was scared and upset because my young child was sick and the doctor CLEARLY passed very rude judgement towards me screaming in violent manor towards me in front of my young child as well as staff and a waiting room full of people... All of this was due to a misunderstanding regarding the history of the situation.. The "doctor" then had the actual nerve to apologize to the people waiting, as well as making remarks as if I deserved such abuse.. To top it all off then made a FALSE report to CPS regarding my family and telling them terrible lies that were not facts to any of situation.... You cant trust doctors that call and making reports against you period!!!!! As if violently screaming at the top of his lungs wasnt bad and unprofessional enough he then turned everything I actually said around! He went as far as saying i "Left my children home alone with no way to reach them" ridiculous I couldnt get in touch with there DAD whom was home with them at the time as well as they are teenagers...Also the pushy staff was trying to send meds to a pharmacy out of my area which doesnt make sense at all but somehow by me saying that was to far and i couldnt get there that was reported me saying i wasnt going to get his meds... I literally live across the street from a local pharmacy so why not just send it there instead of Twisting my words and as if that wasnt bad enough by making reports against families who literally come to them for help is terrible. On top of all of that he had diagnosed my son with infected ears which due to a second opinion was founded to be untrue.. I told him my son was sick a few days he reported I said one hour as well as stating that he was vomiting and couldnt hold down food what but the facts are he wasnt vomiting at all prior to arriving to their office and what i really said was he wasnt eating much since he was coughing and the ONLY reason he vomited at all is because he was coughing so hard.. He didnt vomit after we left the urgent care... So that is what this "doctor" is saying i got for "free" a misdiagnoses and abusively talked to in front of my small scared child ....FYI My child had contracted a very serious contagious virus and is now being treated by loving compassionate medical staff else where... I do hope they sanitized the entire place after I left having to walk through the crowed waiting room so embarrassed after the way I was treated. Worst experience of my life...I cried so much my face hurt!!! No one should be treated like this especially a mother in a scary high stressed situation with a very sick child.....
