Upon doing so, she gave us a bill for staging, $5000. Talking to other agents, we learned it was common for the AGENT to pay for staging, especially with the amount we were paying in agent fees. Our house was listed just under $ 2m; however, if you called up and said you wanted to see it, they'd let you in without any proof of funds. We quickly learned that everyone they were letting in were not qualified to buy, we'd hear the 'buyers' talking multiple times on our Ring about how they couldn't afford it. Unreal! We would spend 2 hours cleaning the house(dogs), we did this over 12 times. I spent a day of my life cleaning a house, only to be used as entertainment for anyone that wanted to look at a $2m house. One person even broke a shower glass door, which we had to replace. If you are considering these people to list (or buy) a home--RUN! They WILL screw up your most valuable asset quickly. For the response: janet/joylynn, you did not perform, dont blame it on the environment--you clearly mis priced the house AND scammed/hustled is out of a staging fee. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you both are crooks. Karma will return to you, deservingly so. So, with that said, id hate for others to get this treatment/result. Why risk it with these two?
