Found Erana when we needed last minute dress alterations. She was quick, thorough & the pricing was great!

She made me feel very rushed. Claimed she was leaving the country so I need to come in right away. Told me I needed to wear a bra with my dress which my new seamstress states is not true. I brought a shirt in to Erana in the morning and she was finished by noon! Incredible work. It looks great. I've tried all the tailors in the Portsmouth area, and she is the fastest, though the most expensive -- the price is worth it! I sent my boyfriend to her and he got some shirts done, also same-day. Working with Erana was not exactly a warm and positive experience. I brought a bridesmaid dress to her to have altered. She made me feel very rushed and had overlapping appointments. She had me change in the entry way to her apartment and had to cut through to answer the door while I was in the middle of changing because she had overbooked her schedule. Instead of nicely telling me she couldn't let the dress out at a couple seams, she instead said to me "you should just lose some weight". It was incredibly rude, insensitive, and humiliating. She did work fast and was able to hem the dress, but I would not go back again to be insulted and treated like shit. read more

Erana SAVED ME. My original seamstress in NY (where my parents live) took my wedding dress in more than was pinned for the second fitting. When I tried it on at my final fitting I said it was too tight around the ribs and she said "it's the most fitted thing you'll ever wear" and when my mom brought my dress to NH I tried it on and I couldn't sit or breathe in it. I panicked and contacted Erana as my wedding was 3 days away. She fixed it in 2 hours!! She is a saint. She is very straight to the point and will tell you if she can or can't help you instead of wasting your time. She was amazing and I will scream her name from the mountain tops! read more
