I scheduled mold remediation with Corey M Jarratt for December 1, 2025, and paid a 50% deposit of nearly $3000 via Venmo. On the day of the work, he did not show up and is not responding to my calls or text messages. I showed up to the business location specified in the website, only to find out that he no longer occupies the property and that people other than myself have asked about him. Also I should note that his license might be expired, as indicated in the image attached from cslb.ca.gov . AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR AT ALL COSTS!!!

He started a front porch remodel for me in early August 2023, stating the work would be completed in 2-4 weeks. He took $10,000 of my money and never completed the project. He had EVERY excuse you can think of...can't make payroll, doesn't have help, the weather, the permits, etc... ALL LIES! He's been reported to the Attorney General (and won't respond to them), I was awarded a refund of $5,000 in court and guess what... HE DIDN'T SHOW UP! He is also in litigation with others..I would NOT recommend!!

It didnt stick! Several coats later it still wasnt right. He used a straight edge to paint around my counter backsplash. Now the backsplash has paint all over it, its pulled off the wall it was on and the caulking was split, crumbled and chiiped out, He was paid to ( by my insurane co) take out damaged floor tiles, repair and level and replace flooring. He clearly did not do what he was paid to do becase the floor isnt level. After calling it to his attention...his response was to send me certified letter stating 'it was not his job to level the floor he installed. The owner of this company continuously stonewalled me and told me that becuase he had a good relaionship with my ins adjuster,he would-be deal with the adjustor. And i was not to rock the boat. He wanted to be paid for work my plumbing contractor did and then wanted me to pay him for work I completed like washing the cabinets,replacing contents and more! No... no would never recommend Lorenzo Contracting.

We have used this company twice and had good experiences both times. The first was the removal of…read morea dead tree that was overhanging our fence. They got it done fast and without issue. The second time involved the removal of a large tree in our front yard that had to be removed because it blocked a sewer line trench project. The crew came early and it was done in no time, including the stump grinding. They used the woodchips to repack the hole and bring it back up to ground leve. I would recommend them for simple and complex tree projects.

Did not know the problem, but my toilet would not flush anymore. Yet my tub and kitchen sink were…read moredraining all right too. They came down to check it out and see what needed to be done. I had allready used a plunger and an auger to free it, but it appeared to be further down than just the toilet. So they took the toilet off the base and checked that out, which I also checked out, and the line was frozen. That could be very possible that had something in the line that was blocking it from going out. They said they could try to work on that but it would be very expensive, so I declined in knowing Spring would be here eventually and possible get and opportunity to free it then. Beside the fact, that since winter will be here for a while it would probably freeze up again and the cost would not be worth it in this time period. In the meantime I am using a potty seat for the disabled and have a portable septic tank to empty the pail into which is working out fine now in the meantime until spring comes. But my kitchen and bath water are going down freely, so of no major concern right now.

Using a lift crane to decorate their customers home they completely blocked the street for hours and yelled at the residents to "go around the block" and at one point even gave the middle finger to two of us. Rather than say "sorry for the inconvenience and would you mind going around temporarily", they chose to be extremely rude. I find this unacceptable for a company that touts themselves as "local".

Our goal was to restore it to its original liveability as a single family home. Teakwood has a reputation as expensive and our initial bid, to do everything on a wish list, was pretty high. But they worked with us and a revised bid was significantly lower and we went with them. This bid entailed a clear-eyed distinction between "need to" and "nice to" improvements so we ended up with a price we were happy with. The quality of the work, both by Teakwood carpenters and their subs, is superb. Teakwood has a philosophy of assigning a master carpenter to oversee the job and our guy, Dan Decenzo, could not be better. Josh, the guy who did a number of built-ins, is a master of his craft and we now have benches and bookcases that look like they have been there 130 years like the rest of the structure. We were offered a 1 year satisfaction guarantee and I'm prompted to write because, well over 1 year after the fact, Dan has been back recently to fix a couple minor things. Bottom line, we are really happy with Teakwood and would definitely recommend you bid out your project to them.
