We have now had Ergeon do two jobs (replacing the fencing on two different sides of our property). They did an excellent job on both. I was particularly impressed by their professionalism and communication, which are vastly better than any other fencing company I've worked with. The quality of the fence was also higher than what my neighbors have received from other local contractors. Also, their customer service and responsiveness are first-rate. One of the jobs was quite complicated, and part of it was not done quite right. When I reported this to them, they sent a very knowledgeable manager to inspect it, and he figured out a good solution. It was remedied very quickly, with minimal hassle. I was a little worried about working with such a large company. I ordinarily prefer to go with smaller local firms. However, now that I've had two jobs done by Ergeon, I see that they take advantage of their size to provide superior service. Their bids were about 10% higher than the local contractors, but the small additional cost was well worth it given the excellent communication and the high-quality work. After an aggressive storm knocked out a section of my fence, I knew I had a large project on my hands. My back fence is ~ 115 feet long with a built in wood retaining wall and a gate in one corner. The fence was rotting and there was no saving it. The quote process was easy especially during the pandemic as it was done over Hangouts. The quote I received was very fair and they were able to get me scheduled fairly quick given the surge in requests for fencing. The installer came out prior to perform an inspection. Once 811 did its checks, we were good to go. Installer was really nice and efficiency was the name of the game. First day the old fence and wall were gone, dirt was dug back a bit and the entire retaining wall was installed. Second day they installed pickets and built the gate. I didn't have a fence replacement from Ergeon. I had a video assessment appointment with a walk through regarding my fence problems. Javier told me that the fence in general looked fine. The ground underneath the gate rose over time, either from ground settlement or roots from a neighbor's overgrown tree. There was no pressure at all to get a really costly service I didn't need. The problem resolved after a handyman trimmed the bottom of the gate for $75. This business has integrity and I recommend them. read more

I went on the other side and 2 boards didn't have nails in the bottom . This is Unacceptable especially for the money we spent. Editing Review 1/6/2024- After writing this review, I was contacted by Ergeon's Quality and Escalation Manager by phone, Text and email. They were very concerned and wanted to try and make things right. A repair technician came today and removed the metal poles that had been cut and left in my neighbors yard. They also fixed her gate that wasn't swinging all the way open since the fence install. I will say that the problem with the metal fence poles being cut down replaced with treated wood poles was partially our fault for not questioning and looking closer at the second estimate before the job was started. If we would have done that the poles would not have been cut and they could have used them for our new fence. I will also say, once our complaint reached the Escalation Manager, they were very responsive and took care of the things that could be fixed after the fact. I also received a beautiful gift basket as an apology. The fence, even though it wasn't what we originally wanted, was very high quality and they did a beautiful job. It looks so much better than our previous fence and really upgraded the look of our back yard. Original review: Ergeon gave us an estimate on fencing our back yard over a year ago, but our neighbors weren't ready. This summer everyone agreed so we called back to get an updated quote. Assuming everything was the same (including re-using the existing metal posts), we agreed to start work. They came and installed the fence, upon inspection, we realized that they cut down the metal posts and replaced them with wood posts which won't last nearly as long. They left the concrete in the ground that was holding the posts up rather than removing it. We paid for demo and haul away, yet they left the metal posts in our neighbors back yard. The initial number I called was not in service. Got ahold of the project manager, he was looking into it and was to call back in an hour, but didn't call. I called a week later and left a message. Still no call. Now it's two months later. I called again hoping to get compensation. Our neighbor is angry and only paid half of her half. She added that they had left a mess in her yard that she, at 80 yrs old had to clean herself. read more

Shit show of an estimate. A half hour late for appointment and it was raining. A girl showed up with app to take pictures. She didn't even know the name of the company when I asked her; she had to look it up. She knew nothing about fencing, installation, wood etc.; she only takes pics. I wanted to talk with someone that would KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, not an EXTREMELY over perfumed female that had no clue about the job and couldn't answer any questions. I see they now have many good reviews; must be new. It was my neighbor that call these people for an estimate, not me. My daughter considered using them several years ago but all the reviews then were terrible. Stay clear until they can send actual fencing staff out or someone that at least knows something. I experienced one concern, but they made good and corrected the flaws right away when there was a couple of corners not properly tacked down and one seam that was not properly tacked down. As soon as I sent the photos of the issues and informed them of my dissatisfaction, they rescheduled the return right away and made the needed corrections. they did not charge me until I was 100% satisfied. It's only been about a week since the install but so far so good. We just had Ergeon finish a complete removal and replacement of our 13-year-old fence and could not be happier with the results! First off, we had three different estimates done (Ergeon, Superior and Family Fencing). The estimate and scheduling experience with Ergeon was by far the best and most professional. They were not the cheapest of the three, but the difference in cost was minimal and you get what you pay for. Our property is on a corner and sits higher than the street, so there are some significant slopes going down from the yard. The installers ensured that there were no gaps remaining at the bottom of the fence and cut custom kick boards that fit perfectly. The new fence, a total of 231ft + an oversized gate, was installed in two days (and change) with the installation team being professional, yet laid back. The quality of the fence we had installed was good. The billing when it was over was painful. It took incredibly long to get ahold of anyone. Billing was split between myself and my neighbor. It was impossible to be ahold of anyone after the work was done and billing needed to be corrected. I ended up having to pay for it in full and worked it out directly with my neighbor.
