Clearly, it's more exciting and…read morefun to review last night's dinner out vs. treatment of an ingrown toenail or getting a prescription for the flu. I've been coming to Dr. Sosinski of IMG since 1983 when I moved to Lawrence. He's served me so well over this time. As a family practitioner he strikes me as an exceptionally intelligent physician that listens well, has few words, but is compassionate and caring for his patients. About ten years ago they moved to a new facility and it's state of the art and includes its own pharmacy plus offices for several other physicians that are part of the group. Most of them have also been with the firm well over 20 years. I haven't always had great experiences with the medical community, but this physician and this organization are an exception.

He tried to opt out of seeing me from the moment he laid eyes on me because supposedly I was out of town. When do doctors not want to see patients simply because they do not live in their city but 20 miles away and this was only one of many excuses. He neglected to give me any meds for an ear infection he diagnosed after comparing both my ears. He did not ask to see my diabetic feet even though I told him about a sore on my toe. He did not want to look at the problems with my back, legs, or neck. And I was diagnosed from the hospital with decaying of the 6th vertebra of which he was informed. Is there anything this doctor does want to treat? I will do him a huge favor and look for a better doctor who will be happy to have my business.

I've had bronchitis many times and never had a doctor order an x-ray. This doctor ordered two the first time and another the second, even though I said I wasn't having any chest problems, it was an ear infection. Almost every patient I saw in there went in for an X-ray. He didn't even bother to look in my throat or in my ears. He kept asking me questions and then checking his phone for text messages. And then would ask me the same question again because he wasn't paying attention. I wouldn't recommend this doctor.

He never tried to get any cultures nor did any blood tests. I was left dying. I asked him for different antibiotics because Levaquin wasn't working and it has extremely bad side effects. My tendons and joints were nearly about to rupture. I work hard labor so it was very hard. He eventually got upset and refused to see me anymore and bad mouthed me to every doctor I then encountered that had to refer to him. It turned out I have Active Extrapulmanary Tuberculosis and Morganella morganii. two very serious infections that each take a combination of 4 antibiotics. I end up facing death and no one would help me. luckily I have found a way to save myself two and half years later by insisting on a culture of an abscess in my ear that turned out to be Morganella morganii. A very deadly gram negative bacteria that Levaquin can't even phase. he dropped the ball on Tuberculosis and morganella morganii he'll probably drop the ball on many other things. he needs reviewed. he would spend very little time considering diagnosis and had no grace in doing it. He didn't care it was like I had to talk him into doing his job and beg. I think he's racially intolerant or just isn't trying to well at his job.

Dr. Suber is an excellent doctor who cares about patients and takes the necessary time with you…read morerather than rushing you in and out. Her staff are friendly, professional and efficient unlike many practices in town who seem to care less about patients and drop the ball when it comes to personal attention and professionalism. The practice is small enough that you get the individual attention you need while offering ancillary services such as lab work on site. They offer electronic check in using a tablet where you can even pay your bill by swiping your credit card as well as a patient portal where your electronic record can be updated and checked. My only complaint being the fact I that after one week I was not notified about whether or not my lab work was complete, causing concern over the results. They sent me a text to come and get…read morea vaccine I needed "at any time" and told me it would be available only until the end of the week. I sat in their waiting room and watched people come and go for OVER AN HOUR before I finally walked out. All I can say is: If this is how you TREAT A NEW PATIENT, I'm not a new patient of yours any longer!!! I am now looking for a new provider. Holy cow. Learn some customer service.
