I was a customer for years, but they were never able to even come close to the auto rate offered by Progressive, but then when an Allstate bundle beat what I was paying for auto at Progressive and homeowners through Suzanne Brown / Texan, that made me decide to leave both of them. My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? Well, the relationship is over now, and I'm glad to have EVERYTHING at one place, where I can look at it one one phone app.

Trutela Insurance is, without a doubt, the worst insurance agency I have ever dealt with. They have lied to me from day one until the moment my business faced a crisis. I purchased a high-premium commercial insurance policy from them for my business and consistently renewed it, trusting them to protect my livelihood. Instead, their severe incompetence and lies completely ruined it. Here is the nightmare they put me through: * Gross Incompetence: They put my personal name as the company name instead of my actual registered business name. * Negligence Leading to Cancellation: I provided them with my new banking information well in advance. They failed to update it, which caused my policy to be canceled without my knowledge. * The Disaster: My business was recently robbed. It was only when I called to file a claim for the robbery that I discovered my insurance had been canceled due to their mistakes. I was left completely unprotected and vulnerable. I had to hire a third-party agency just to help me clean up their mess. However, because Trutela put the wrong company name on the policy, I needed them to call the carrier (Hartford) to fix the name change. * The Lies & Deception: An employee named Joy told me she had called Hartford and told me to wait 10 days. Having lost all trust in them, I called Hartford myself more than 5 times to verify. Every single time, Hartford confirmed that NO agency had ever called to request a name change. I have full audio recordings and solid proof showing that Joy and this agency straight-up lied to my face. If you cannot train your employees to be decent, competent, and honest with your clients, you should not be in this business.
