Needless to say, his photos were outstanding work. We first saw Jed's photos on his instagram page, and we really liked his style and choice of scenery, so we reached out to him to set up the shooting. Before the day of the photoshoot, Jed met with us via zoom to discuss our needs and what Jed could offer in terms of service packages. We felt he was really passionate about getting to know us on a personal level, so he could bring out our relationship and connection in his photography work. As Jed has lived in the area for quite some time, he is very knowledgeable about the scenery locations, timing, and lighting to use to get the best photo results. We chose Big Sur for our photo location, and brought along our pet dog to take part in the photoshoot as well. My wife and I both had little professional photography experience, so we were both worried that we would look stiff and unnatural in the photos. However, Jed was able to guide us with useful and encouraging comments, and gave us ideas for movements and postures. He also encouraged us to provide some of our own ideas and integrate them into the photoshoot.
