By this point in the trip, we were fully committed to our "tapas style everything" philosophy. Why order one entrée each when you can create a tiny feast and slowly steal bites off each other's plates with zero shame? Over the two evenings, we shared the Berry Burrata Salad, Beet & Spinach Salad, cauliflower, Seared Ahi Tuna, Dungeness crab cakes, Angel Hair Pasta with shrimp, and lava cake. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the kind of texture that makes Italians nod approvingly from a distance. The crab cakes were flavorful and satisfying, and the beet salad thankfully avoided the tragic fate of being "healthy but boring." The first evening, our server gave off strong "this table again?" energy, and we had to remind her about bread.
