Erica is AMAZING! I first learned about her from pics a friend posted of their newborn daughter. Erica had taken the photos and I was left breathless at their beauty. I immediately knew I wanted to have my 9-month daughter photographed by her. I contacted her through her website and I was greeted with such warmth (Yes, warmth through an email!). She was very informative and was available to answer any questions I may have had up until the day of the shoot. On the day of the shoot, I was absolutely amazed. Her studio is stunning! I felt like I was at home and she made my mom, my sister and I feel like we were part of her family. During the session, she was sweet, kind and patient. She had amazing ideas and also listened to any ideas I may have. She did not rush anything and made sure she helped keep my daughter entertained. The viewing was my favorite part. Because I drove a longer distance (about an hour) she allowed me the opportunity to stick around for about an hour and a half so she could get the pictures ready for ordering (that way I did not have to return a week later since I don't live close). This was my FAVORITE part. The ordering room looks like a living room! So warm and inviting. The minute Erica began showing us my daughter's pictures, I almost wanted to cry because of their beauty. What she captured in less than an hour astonished me! Every single picture she showed me was beautiful and she was so patient with us while we made our decisions as to what we wanted. I am going back for my daughter's first birthday photo shoot and I can not wait! The 9-month photo session with my daughter turned out absolutely stunning! Omgsh where to even begin!? Our baby girl Hannah arrived 6 weeks early and spent a few of them in the NICU. I was stressed I didn't have a photographer lined up and was bummed we may have missed the 'window' for photos by the time Hannah came home with us. A few searches and some (A+) recommendations from friends later, it was obvious Erica was the photographer for this special milestone! Albert and Erica eased my mind from the very first conversation. Erica reassured us Hannah would be the perfect age! I loved being able to browse the Pinterest page for ideas and colors, and our planning conversation was also very helpful and fun. Erica took photos of my newborn daughter, and I loved them so much that we went back to her for her birthday photos a year later. Her new studio is top-notch -- spacious and full of gorgeous backdrops, props, and even outfits. As for Erica herself, she is such a seasoned professional. She managed to get my newborn to sleep peacefully for the entire 90-minute shoot, even though my baby had colic and was barely sleeping at that point. The photos from that shoot were stunning; many people told me they'd never seen such beautiful baby portraits. For our one-year session, Erica was just as professional, energetic and unflappable. I had a great experience with Erica and her team. I booked a newborn photoshoot for my first baby and everything about this was easy. Erica was such a fountain of information from the beginning, any question I had big or small she answered and made very clear. Her team will send you followup reminders on appointments which as a new mom are more helpful than you know! My husband and I were so impressed with how the actual photoshoot was handled as well. Everything I asked for was given and more. Erica and her team not only took amazing pictures of my baby and our family but the entire four hours consoled my baby, changed her diaper and kept her happy and all I had to do was sit back and relax, it was great! Our experience from start to finish was first class. We were nervous about how we would manage to get our sometimes fussy girl to settle long enough for one good photo, let alone a variety of looks and settings! Erica and her assistant Kelly were warm and patient and are so clearly doing something they love doing and just happen to be best in class at. Every detail was though of, from a cozy warm studio, to timing of feedings to ensure sleepiness, to ensuring we discussed colors in our home before selecting backdrops so we can be sure they'll coordinate with the walls they hang on. Erica is an absolute gem! It's rare that we take our kids to get professional photos taken but after the birth of our 3rd, we decided to splurge & have them done! A newborn, 3 year old and 9 year old all cooperated like they had been modeling for years, thanks to Erica! Everything was so enjoyable from start to finish. The studio is very clean and they had any accommodation you can think of from a nursing room, boppy, diapers and wipes, combs, a lint brush, snacks, water, you name it! That's even BEFORE even making it into the studio for the shoot!! Also, shout out to Albert! Erica is such a special person; she has a talent for capturing our little ones' personalities in just one shot and making the entire experience of photographing babies seem like a piece of cake. Erica and Albert were great during our son's first birthday pictures. We had multiple phone calls to plan and discuss ideas and clothing for his pictures. They also sent a welcome packet with great information on the process and product information. During the session Erica knew all the little tricks to have him open up and show his true personality. We recently completed our newborn session with Erica. This is our first baby so basically everything makes us nervous. Erica and her assistant were incredibly professional and clearly know how to work with newborns. Erica is truely gifted when it comes to photographing infants and children. She did amazing photos of my daughter at six months and one year old.
