I know my antiques and know how much collectibles should cost, but this place is absolutely bonkers with pricing. All the pricing is so ridiculously astronomical to the point of being insane. The store itself is cluttered and disorganized, mostly because no merchandise gets purchased. The owner needs to visit Pasadena Architectural Salvage for a reality check and maybe learn how salvage merchandise should be organized and priced. I don't mean to sound overly harsh but don't waste people's time pricing everything so ridiculous, even Liz Antiques on the westside has fair pricing compared to this establishment. read more

We liked it here and great inventory but just too expensive. Some items we could buy elsewhere like fireplace tools for $20, (yes, Salvation Army etc.)., but here it's $750. Yes, we understand about antiques & quality but enough is enough already.. Just can't do this, sorry... read more

Eric's is an absolute amazing resource and gem of the city. I have bought many gems from them; from deco tiles, multiple sinks, pottery, and even a vintage concrete pagoda for the garden. If you are interested in design, history, LA history, and architecture, Eric's is literally a one stop shop to find one of kind items for projects. Wanda and the crew there are knowledgeable, nice, and genuinely want to see your project realized with an item from their extensive collection. Wow I was not expecting this place to be such a treasure I think the biggest architectural salvage place i've ever been to came to buy some antique light fixtures for my 1930s home and purchased four fantastic ones but ended up spending half the day just looking at all the amazing artifacts salvaged from some of the most beautiful homes in the country. If you love antiques and restoring old furniture, then you have to check this place out. They have historic antiques and furniture from decades past. You will find historic chairs, tables, mirrors and chandeliers that look like they just came out of a museum. They also sell unique pottery and items to decorate the indoor and outdoor of your house. It is a bit pricey, but its worth it for the quality you get and its still not the priciest antique store in LA ( I won't mention some other place with horrible customer service and sky high prices !) If you ever want something new to decorate your home, but not sure what you want, then check this place. You are bound to find something you love. read more

I bought this piece for the entryway of my Spanish home and just installed it and am totally in love. Eric's has a fantastic selection of really unique items that will compliment any historic home in LA. Like the idea of the store. Employees seemed nice enough too. But the prices are beyond comprehension. "Reuse" philosophy surely means selling, not just acquiring? If so, they really should more than halve the prices across the board. We've bought similar pottery or tiles in the past at fractions of the cost, even at flea markets many would still consider expensive. read more

Eric's architectural salvage is really generous and helpful to student film. We rent a door and a window for our built set from Eric's for 2 weeks and they offered us a completely free deal because we are students. Very helpful and generous. Really helped us a lot!! read more

For specialty period tile, this place is it. Great collection. Prices are way high, though, with some individual tiles priced at 4 figures. I didn't see any tile, even downstairs, fir less than $20 per piece. . The other non-tile salvage is also good quality but very expensive. No deals here, but they may have that one item or tile you want, at a price. read more

There is a lot of cool stuff, in good shape and pics don't show that the place is very organized. They get a lot of the inventory from homes getting demo'ed and the level of quality is good. Windows, doors, hardware, lighting, sinks, pottery and on and on. Fun place to walk thru but if you're looking for something specific, they might just have it here. Good find. read more

Every time I visit this incredible shop, it feels like I've stepped-back in time! Gargoyles and Stone Buddhas; Expressionist Sculptures, and Terra Cotta Urns... It's all here, with two of the nicest people I know- presiding over this gorgeous menagerie: Wanda and Eric. A welcoming smile means a lot, in these Post-Covid times... and I guarantee you'll feel like you've fallen down the rabbit hole, once you meet them! Interesting items, overpriced and Crazy dangerous area. Bring your cheapest car. We were driving a $80,000 truck and had to park in goodwill parking and walk in. Homeless galore. Thank god our truck was still there. Fun place to walk around, but bought from other stores instead. Their asking prices are 4-8 times over market for fixtures that are missing parts and need to be re-wired. Similar stores in Pasadena sell superior fixtures that have been rewired and are complete for MUCH less. Great place to stop by if you are feeling brave! read more

Its an interesting place. Well stocked with lots of treasures. It isnt a very price friendly environment. Put it this way. When you go to these places, the owners either want to move their items or not. This place is in the later category. We know prices when it comes to salvage. They basically give you a very high number in order to provide a "discount" which means a nice fat profit for them. Its true they have overhead yet they are stuffed to the walls with a lot of junk. And its collecting a lot of dust.. If you are really desperate then this place is fine. Look around though.. Take your time. There are much better deals abound unless this Salvage store starts pricing their junk to sell. read more

I went to Eric's today with some idea of what I wanted/needed. I left with the perfect set of french doors & an awesome front door, with an amazing door bell, ding dong!!!! The staff is very friendly, super helpful & knowledgeable. I read some of the reviews about Eric's being pricey however, you get what you pay for. My brother and I went here to shop for a few things for Home and this place is crazy expensive. They put high sticker prices in and give you up to 50% off making it look like they're giving you a good deal. Trust me look around you gonna buy things you see here or much cheaper. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Eric's Architectural Salvage is an amazing place! We were there yesterday just looking for a knob for one of our old kitchen cabinet from the 1920's and they were extremely friendly and accommodating in helping us find a match. There is a ton of fascinating items here if you are looking to retrofit your place with "old school" items and the like. If not, it is just a great place to go look around as well! I can't say enough great things about this place. I own a 1940s duplex & was looking for a unique way to create room separators. I found the answer here. I bought 6 cool antique doors, which I will sand, refinish & hinge together to create 2 room dividers. I purchased another door to use as a desktop. Everyone at Eric's is extremely helpful & their prices are very reasonable. They also delivered the doors to me for a nominal fee. I love everyone at Eric's and am glad to support their business and to repurpose items like these doors. I highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Love this place. We came into LA and spent a week looking for cool things to bring back for a renovation. Many interesting things here that I would buy in a minute if I could get them back to New York. The prices aren't LA markups but reasonable prices for very interesting pieces.
