I bought the Gold wash -$33.95. It took a nice long time on a Thursday afternoon but I figured it was because they were doing an excellent job. When I got home and begin to empty my car, I noticed the inside of the doors and the hatch back, nor the cup holders had even been wiped out. I took it back the next day and the attendant told me that wasn't included because it wasn't a detail job! They didn't even wipe the dirt off the door panels! He did not offer to make it right either. I had also bought a tank of gas from these guys. Never again! I will take my business where it is appreciated! read more

Save your money, don't go to this car wash. The owner is an absolute prick and does not give a hoot about customer satisfaction. I took my 2013 Outback in for a complete detail, as a gift to myself and to keep my car in new condition. When I picked up my car the seats were wet, not damp, but completely wet. Ok? Maybe this is part of the territory and since I never had my car detailed before, I wouldn't know that this is normal? I was on my way to Sacramento and did not have time to let my car dry, so the employee brought me out a sheet of plastic to sit on, I had to stop and buy a bath towel to sit on. As I am driving down the road I notice there is a greasy film from the cleaner all over the gages, and all around the dash and doors. Overall the quality of the interior and exterior detailing work was so far below any reasonable standards. I was a fool to think the owner would want to know about the poor quality of service his employees were giving and perhaps make it right. WRONG! When I called in and asked for a manager, the gal that answered the phone wanted to help me, I had to ask her several more times before she finally put another person on the phone. I asked if I was speaking to a manager and was rudely told "NO", so I asked again if I could speak to a manager and then I was told in a very loud tone "I AM THE OWNER"! WFT! The owner talks like this to customers? The conversation ended with him telling me I was a F-ing B***H. I consider this abusive, who needs to pay a business $270 and be treated this way? I urge anyone reading this to avoid going to Eric's Car Wash. I am sure a group of giddy school kids doing a fundraiser will do a better job, support them instead of giving your money to a business that does not care about the customer. read more

This isn't a car wash; it's an establishment that looks like a car wash but no one actually works there. Twice I've stopped by -to get my car washed, oddly enough- but there weren't any employees, at least there weren't any employees working. There may have been employees hiding inside, or in the basement or on the roof (I didn't look there) or maybe all the employees are really small, like 23 inches tall, and there are hundreds of them hiding, lurking? Maybe the employees work hard, very very hard, but only 11 minutes a day so you've got to time it just right. Maybe they were drunk? Or maybe, just maybe, the employees are lazy and get paid by the hour thus removing any incentive to actually do their job (like greeting customers, being present or washing cars). Maybe that's why I got my car washed at Surf Thru (2470 Forrest Ave, they did a great job!) and that just may be why I'll never stop at Erik's again. read more

Let's see lost the keys to my BMW for 20 minutes, put muddy foot prints on my light grey floor mats, I paid $20 for the car wash and they didn't clean my rims, vacuum, or clean the dash board. I noticed hard water spots when I got has. So to sum it up I had to go to another car wash and redo the whole car. Plus I just paid to get my mays shampooed and they were clean before I got there. First off, I'm only giving one star cause you can't give zero. Purchased the "gold" wash which after taxes was just under 30 bucks. I go to get into my truck and see that they did'nt even touch the interior. I ask one of the crusty old biker ladies they had working there if the interior was included in the "gold" wash and she says "it is, we vaccum and wipe the dash." I get in, and right in front of her wipe my hand over the dash, and it was covered with dust. One of them seemed to kinda care and half assed a wipe down of the dash and console. The other crusty just said " put on a white shirt and get into any car that was just washed, I promise you won't come out clean." What the hell does that even mean? This place sucks. Overall my car is easy to clean but when I got in my car, it smelled like mildew (from the towels they used) they didn't vacuum very well, and my change that was in my door was gone that was over a dollar!! Way too expensive for what you get...maybe I would pay $9 but nothing more. The outside of my car looked okay...but I could have driven through a car wash at chevron for $3. I paid for the most expensive car wash and the inside was not touched at all, except for maybe dusting off the dash board. Sorry but when you hire cheap labor and don't train the young help properly you are going to have poor results. This is the second time getting a poor wash. I gave them a chance after the last really crappy wash and detail 6-8 months back that I went back and complained about. This is the last time. Most of my friends have long since abandoned Eric's and go to Scrubs. I guess I am going to have to take my care over this week and get it done right. I gave them 1 star because Yelp won't let me give them any minus stars. I just went to Eric's and won't be going back. Asked going in for exterior wash and interior vacuum and windows. Specifically asked if that covered the brake dust on the front rims (I took a trip to LA and got a lot of brake dust on the front wheels) and was told, absolutely. When they called for me to get the car, first thing I see is grease globs still on the side of the white car. ALL OVER not just on the lower panels. Next I see the front rims have some smears on the flats of the rims but the rest of the wheels are still covered in brake dust. I looked closer and everything low on the car had just been hit, not washed. I asked the attendant to please get the grease off and he told me it was road tar and I'd have to pay extra. I smeared it with my finger and showed him it was grease, then asked if they used soap in their wash water. He grumbled something under his breathe and wiped off that spot, I asked him if he'd get the rest and he told me I'd have to pay to get it re-washed as it was extra dirty (it wasn't). I asked if he'd get the rims and he said "No, their done unless you want to pay a $5.00 rim washing fee". BS, I won't be going back. You go to a car wash to get the car washed. If I wanted what they did I'd have driven through a sprinkler. read more

It seems that some of the people on here writing mean, nasty and a bad review are bored and no one could ever please them. Try working one day at the car Wash and tell me we don't work hard. Every business had good and bad days. I'm sorry for anyone's bad experience but a few of the reviews stated the employees cussed at them. I'm sorry but that's a lie. They would never do that. The red-haired woman is a manager, she is a natural red head who adds darker red for spice and fun. She isn't rude at all. The owner will gradly talk to anyone who calls. I asked the employee to schedule an appointment for "buff & wax $125++" but she told the manager that I want the "hand wax 70++" + $40 for polishing the headlights. she came back and told me they will charge me $130 + $40 = $170 and I said OK coz I thought it's the buff & wax + the headlights. Looked fine from a distance but when I got home and under the garage lights there were smudge marks everywhere...kind of like the dried it with dirty towels. I only give this one star because I can't give zero. This place gave me by far the worst service and customer service I have received in my life! I purchased the "gold" package which I was assured included cleaning of the inside of my car. Apparently to them "cleaning" the inside of a car means dusting off the dash and doing a quick and not thorough vacuum and in no way includes cleaning the windows, console, doors, or anything else on the inside. I paid extra money to have a bit of dog hair vacuumed up which they did not do. Upon inspecting the inside of the car there was still dog hair and other vacuum-able debris on the back seats in addition to a bit of dirt that had been splashed on the inside of the door from going to the river. The guy spent literally 30 seconds to spray a cleaner on the door and haphazardly wiped the door down. I ended up requesting to use their vacuum to vacuum up the rest of the car. I requested to speak to the manager and asked for my money back. He told me that the outside of my car was clean and that I had gotten what I paid for. He refused to even give me back a portion of what I paid. Needless to say I drove away very displeased with the half-hearted/half-attempted cleaning of my car. I wanted to give the owner the benefit of the doubt in case he wasn't aware of the poor service his employees were providing and have attempted numerous times to contact him by phone. He has never been available and the final straw was today when the rude girl answering the phone told me very succinctly that he was "out" and promptly hung up on me. WARNING! I've never been in a worse car wash in my life than Eric'a car wash. save your money and wash your car somewhere else or just do it yourself which I did after getting my car from them. I can write for ever but I know most of you would like me to cut to the chase. I took my car to clean it inside and out. I asked them if it's GUARANTEED work and they approved it. I payed $40 for gold package plus armorall, wheels wax. When I went to pick up my car, it was filthy inside and out. There was specific things I asked them to clean just in case they dont, such as, cub holders, soft top, and mold on the seat covers. Non of these were cleaned. The mold was "untouched". Not to mention that they stole my change in the car and when I asked them about it, they said that they sucked it with the vacuum!!! When I asked to talk to the owner "Eric" he was very disrespectful to me as a customer, he started cussing me in front of his employees saying the F word after asking him to reason with me and refund me the money. He even told me that if I want to clean it better, I would have to pay for detail which is over $100. I will upload pictures for you to see. read more

I can't give it no stars so I guess 1 will do. I went there to get my truck detailed and they charged an extra 2 bucks on top of the 30 I was already paying which is fine. But upon expecting my truck to be in tip top shape. It was far from it. My truck bed was still dirty. They did not to a good wipe down of my dash. Or vacuum thoroughly enough. I'm extremely disappointed in the service. I pay $12 at California car wash and a machine does it better than you guys. I stopped by for the first to get a car wash before attending to a paint scratch I received from another vehicle. Prior to this I stopped at O Relieys to pick up a product to get rid of the paint. The staff at Eric's car wash not only did a fantastic job washing my car but offered to remove the unwanted paint off my car! The staff there seemed very knowledgeable and did not seem like the type to get you to buy things (like the auto parts store did) they did not want to take advantage of a female college student who is not very knowledgeable on cars. I used to come in and get my car washed at least twice a month with my mom and she would get hers done as well. One day my car came out of the car wash and there was something on my car door. I just spent practically $30.00 on my car and was expecting it to be clean. The owner then told his employees to not clean what was on my door unless I paid more money. I brought it home and cleaned it myself which took one minute. I have now told everyone I know not to go to Erics Car Wash because they have bad customer service. They wanted to charge more money and now they are missing a whole lot of business. I do not recommend going to Erics Car Wash. read more

Pros: speedy. Cons: not very clean inside. The car was very dirty to start, but still dusty when completed. They are too speedy... They swipe the cloth around but don't get into the corners.
