This place is my go to whenever I want a sandwich! I always get their pilgrims progress, which I absolutely love! I've ate both in the restaurant, and ordered to go, and have never had any complaints. My sandwich is always delicious, the place is clean, and when ordering to go, my order is always ready by the time they said it would be. I order from Erik's on a regular basis. Today I ordered a whole sandwich and a pint of soup. After having the flu for a week the soup was amazing. However my sandwich was not a whole one. I called and they said they ran out of the Dutch Crunch from their bakery, so their manager told them to use another kind of Dutch Crunch. It looks like to me that they are running low and decided to give customers only half of roll, but pay full price for a whole. I'm sorry but I don't like to pay $10.99 for a half sandwich. The Good: The place is clean, service is fast and the line makes sense, you don't have to wonder where it starts because it's literally at the entrance. I ordered the Farmer's Market with no bell peppers and a vegetable soup, a water, chips and a cookie. I was first served the soup and later the sandwich came. First of, I didn't buy the chips until after I started the first half of my sandwich and that was a mistake, nothing that the sandwich lacked but come one, that's a classic combo. The sandwich was hefty and well stuffed and loaded, it came with a slice of orange and a pickle spear. I was not expecting such flavor to come from this sandwich, the ingredients complimented one another so well, the produce was fresh, the avocado was creamy, the sauce elevated the creaminess. I'm not usually a Sprouts guy but this paired well with the slightly earthy taste of the sesame seeds. Overall 9 out 10 for sure! The bad: The soup completely sucked, it had a terrible aftertaste of can and was too chunky for my preference. Not much else to say, personally 2 out of 10 on this piece. No business is perfect, although we all strive to be, and it's all about how you react and recover. The call was much appreciated and I have updated my rating from 2 to 4 stars to reflect this. Original Review 4/12/2021: The sandwiches at Erik's are wonderful, and in the 30 or so times I have eaten here I have never been disappointed in the food or the service provided by the staff. It's generally more expensive than other sandwich locations, but the quality is great and the employees welcoming. It's also one of the few sandwich places that allows you to tip if paying with a credit card, which I like to do. I am therefore disappointed to write this review that will reflect, as it turns out, my final visit here due to the actions of the apparent store manager, who thought it fit to interrupt my meal to ask if I had paid for my drink. I'm not generally prone to answering a question while lifting a sandwich to my mouth, let alone one that is not preceded by a "Hello" or generally accepted greeting, but while finishing my meal and iced tea, I was suddenly asked point blank if I had "asked for a drink, or [did I] ask for water"? At my look of bewilderment at such a question, the store manager held up a receipt and let me know the store had forgotten to charge me for a non-water drink. I replied that I did ask for a drink, which is when I received an invitation to pay for my drink "whenever ready." The only reason this does not sit well with me is the (simple) error was that of the store, I was interrupted smack in the middle of the meal without any hint of politeness, and the infraction amounted to, with tax as it turns out, $2.17. I was alone this time, but if I had been with a group of people or with my family, would they have interrupted for such a trivial reason and in such a manner? I do not mind one bit for asking customers to pay for an item that is missed or mischarged (given the different cups they use, I am assuming there have been some issues with folks asking for water but taking non-water fountain drinks instead), but the timing and the way in which this was handled leaves much room for improvement. To Erik's, if you're having an issue with this, figure out a different way to implement a fix rather than walking around and asking people if they have paid. I did pay the $2.17 on my way out, and am sad to say it represents the final balance for experiencing a lack of tact on the manager's part. read more

Great Yummy Sandwich-Soup & salad place!!! I took my family here we were tired of the drive-through scene because of COVID-19. We were on our camping trip from out of town. We've never been to Erik's DeliCafe before or heard of it.We went everyday of our trip, it was that good!!! Our family loves the sourdough bread bowls and delicious soup choices- Tomato Basil Bisque was one of our personal favorites. My Daughter loved the chicken vegetable rice soup as well. The sandwiches were delicious. They do come with a lot of produce so I would make sure to read what it comes with. I had Erik's Reuben, Raging Bull & my son had the Dub Club sandwich. All Oh so yummy! Yes, outside dining. Average price $10 to $15 a person. There is a little bit of a wait because they make everything to order and also get a lot of phone orders that are before you, so expect anywhere from a 15 to 30 minute wait. My wife decided to try Erik's for a late lunch. The order was pre paid through her app. I walk in and ask where I would pick up an order that was pre paid? The girl at the counter asks me the name and then walks all the way to the other side of the counter and puts a bag on the counter about 20 feet away from me. Then comes back toward me and said your order is on the counter. Like saying go get it. Instead of bringing the bag to me and asking me if there would be anything else. When I retrieved the bag of food, I asked her if everything I ordered in one bag. She gave me a snarky 'yeah'. Service sucks and the food is way too over priced.
