Dr. Robbins is an expert in endometriosis excision, only 1 in about 100 in the world. He does not…read moreaccept insurance, so he is out of network and therefore more expensive than other gynecological surgeons. However, he has a track record of 86% of endometriosis patients not needing follow-up surgeries. This is possible due to his ability to remove tissue from major organs and structures - he takes his time to accomplish this (my surgery was over 7 hours). Other surgeons use ablation and/or need to perform laparotomies to work with the intestines, but Dr. Robbins has the skill to perform major surgery laproscopically. This cuts recovery time in half and limits complications. Dr. Robbins is also very gentle and patient, and he likes to educate his patients about their disease - you won't find other surgeons who take the time. He prides himself on evolving his technique after 30 years of experience, as well as for listening to his patients. For endometriosis patients with a history of poor treatment, missed diagnoses, and being brushed off, Dr. Robbins will feel like a miracle.

Dr Robbins is amazing! He is exceptional at what he does. I had a partial hysterectomy done…read morelaproscopically. The recovery time was 4-6 days verses the standard 4-6 weeks. He has been doing this along time and it is beyond proficient and detailed. Recently, I had an urgent episode, a twisted ovary-excrucitatingly painful. Dr Robbins made himself available to resolve the problem and 2 days after surgery, I am resting and moving about. I am so impressed by his work that I realized that not all surgeons are alike even if they are doing the "same" procedure.

I had been an established patient at Generations for 20 years enjoying Dr. Carol and her…read moreprofessionalism. They assisted through many issues including ruptured cysts. When I needed surgery, the date of my surgery was the day after Dr Carol would be retiring. Dr. Pellitier would be taking over her patients and was assured I would be in good hands. Surgery went well and the recovery was a little rocky. At one of my follow ups Dr. Pellitier's response to my question, how long the healing will take? She told me that it would take awhile, especially at my age! I was in my early 40's and felt I was in excellent health. This statement was not appropriate and offensive. Billing became an issue after the surgery because they billed my insurance with Dr P as the primary surgeon and Dr P as the assistant!! How could she do both roles? Naturally my insurance rejected and Generations sent me into collections! After SEVERAL months they finally understood that indeed it was their error and fixed so they could get paid appropriately. The whole ordeal was very unpleasant so left the practice after 20+ years. Fast forward to 8 years later and I am in need of a new doctor. I turned to generations to find a new one. I was willing to give them another shot, so sent in a request for a visit with Dr A. Jennifer, the office manager, replied asking why I wanted to come back. I explained how I was in need of a new doctor and wanted to return to the practice I used for over twenty years. Jennifer informed me that Dr P covers for Dr A and that it would not work for me. I stated that surely with 12 other doctors that would not always be the case and I would be happy to give Dr P another shot. Jennifer then says to me "our billing practices have not changed" wait what?!? Who said anything about billing?!? It was then I realized that they had read my review of Dr P from 8 years before and was holding it against me. This was very sad to hear. I group of grown women are discriminating over a review. Here was the perfect opportunity to remedy the situation they created and yet fell on their faces to say "you are not a good fit for us". So there you have it; nurses who have a sworn duty to care for others rejecting a patient based on a review when they could have rose above and try to do better.

I have been going to Dr. Vaughan for years now, and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I have…read morea GP, but I don't even know her name, since I prefer the care I receive from Generations. Dr. Vaughan is so easy to talk to and Mary, her nurse is also such a gem. I highly recommend Generations for your medical care!!!

I wish I had a better review to write but I do not. Once my review was read I was rejected by the…read moreGenerations group. I attempted to give this organization a second chance, feeling that after 5 years after leaving this practice things perhaps may have improved. I decided to try again with a different doctor. The office manager, Jennifer, kindly called me to ask why I wanted to be apart of the practice again. I explained that I was willing to give them a second chance, they have several (12) doctors to choose from. Dr. Adams was the one I chose. I was told by Jennifer that Dr. Pelletier and Adams cover for each other so it wouldn't work out for me. I then was told that their billing practices had not changed either..what? No one was talking about billing issues. It was then I knew my review was read. Jennifer said perhaps Generations wasn't a good fit. I said that Generations had been a good fit for 20 years and because of one doctor the experience changed. She then told me "We don't think you are a good fit for US! Good luck to you!" WOW really! So, in a nutshell, time to move on. Happy Jennifer pointed out that the customer doesn't matter, that customer service is not a priority. What could have been an excellent customer service moment for them: "We see you had a poor experience with one of our doctors, perhaps Dr. Adams would be a better fit" "You had a poor billing experience, how could we have done better?" No interest in winning a client back, just pushing them away.

I came in early expecting to wait. I was brought back in a couple short minutes, before my appointment time came! This is an actual miracle in healthcare these days. The staff was professional, warm and helpful. I felt comfortable, safe and cared for in this office. It's a small thing but the patient exam rooms were very warm and comfortable. I sincerely wish all access to medical care was this easy! They were actually recommended in my insurance portal as a tier 1 in network provider. I won't hesitate to return.

Ten minutes later they called me back and said they had a cancellation, and asked if I could be there at 2. When I got there, I was petrified but everyone was so kind and gentle and helpful. Once I got in the exam room I couldn't stop crying and everybody was understanding and kind about it. The midwife who placed my IUD did it really quickly and clearly had a lot of experience. She told me everything she was going to do before she did it and asked for consent, which I always appreciate in a medical environment. She made me feel comfortable, and even though it inherently wasn't a great experience, every single person in this office made it manageable and I came away with positive feelings about my experience at Planned Parenthood, despite the circumstances. For anyone else wondering, they even said that I could bring my kids if I needed to (they just needed to be in a stroller during the procedure). I didn't end up needing to, but I appreciated that they would accommodate that without question. This is my third experience with Planned Parenthood (two different offices) and all three have been stellar.
