I've been very happy with the massage therapists and the options offered during massage, hot stone cupping - all included in the price. I recently tried eyelash extensions by Nichelle and am thrilled. She applied shorter lashes because of my glasses and I'm so happy! I didn't lose many lashes over the first three weeks. Body Fountain is a modern, clean, bright and inviting business. Everyone we encountered there was warm, friendly and professional. They seem to really know their craft. My girlfriend set up a couples massage for us, which was nice being together in a room. Our therapists worked hard at their craft. They offered hot stone therapy and cupping when we were back in the room and I'd never done either, so agreed. The hot stone was really nice. Now having experienced cupping, I can say the experience didn't do much for me and I wouldn't do it again. The massage portion was nice, a bit more like a sports massage than relaxing, and it did help with my neck and shoulder repetitive stress issue. I know you're supposed to tell them what you want throughout, but I usually like to experience things as they would ordinarily do them the first time. This has introduced me to some things I now enjoy that wouldn't ordinarily ask for (aromatherapy being one, and a certain kind of leg and hip stretch being another). It wasn't their fault I didn't love cupping, and I'm glad I tried it and saw it through. Overall, this is a good place to visit for massage therapy. If you already know what you like and don't, feel free to ask your therapist for things. They also have something called a vichy shower, which is basically a table shower where you lie down with several warm water nozzles above you and get an allover scrub with salt or similar. That sounds pretty cool, may check it out sometime. read more

I've been working 7 days a week and took a Sunday off to get a 90 minute massage at Body Fountain that I desperately needed. One hour before my appointment, I received a call saying my appointment had to be cancelled because the therapist was sick. If I had cancelled one hour before the appointment, I would've been charged the full $130 for the service. I understand that things happen and people get sick, but that wouldn't have mattered if the cancellation had been on my end. I'm surprised that for such a large operation with so many therapists on staff, that they don't have someone on call for these situations. I'd like to know why they don't have to pay me $130 as a result of them cancelling the appointment an hour ahead of time. I took a day off work for the appointment and suffered economic loss as a result of their failure to appropriately staff or have a contingency plan in place. It's unfortunate because I've had very good experiences with Body Fountain in the past, but I won't be back again unless I'm compensated. read more

This was the second worst massage I have ever had. The girl seemed to be pushing on my bones rather than my muscles, the table was not heated, the room was dry, there was no aromatherapy used, nor were any of the lotions/oils scented. Seemed more like a therapeutic massage than a spa massage. The reason I'm giving it three stars is that the girls were nice and my husband enjoyed his massage (we got a couples massage). I was thirsty and uncomfortable the whole time. Will not return. In fairness, the massage was not advertised as aromatherapy. I've just never had one that did not use any spa quality supplies, so I suppose I was taking it for granted. They did offer cupping and hot stones free of charge. read more

As a former athlete and pretty active person I have had some informal massage by a trainer but never anything formal. After experiencing some general soreness I reached out to a trusted friend and asked them for a massage recommendation for the southwest suburbs. This person put me in touch with Kate at Body Fountain. Thus far, I have had two sessions and definitely feel a difference in how I feel not only physically but mentally as well. Before each session, Kate gets some feed back on how my body feels, how I reacted to the last massage, and what techniques she thinks would be helpful. I plan on going to Kate regularly because I see the value in the physical and emotional investment after my first few massages. Oh, and I completely feel safe in going during COVID. This place is by far one of the best in all of the Frankfort and surrounding suburbs. I have been going here for at least 6 months now and cannot rave enough about it. I wish I would have found this place years ago versus wasting my money elsewhere. I have only had a massage done by Lydia and I have to say that her massages are absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! If you want a good deep tissue massage then this is who you need to see. My sisters and mom came down from Wisconsin and Chicago for a weekend and they loved their massages. My mom had Tracy and one of my sisters had Anna and they too had nothing but rave reviews about them. In fact, my sister is coming back in December for another massage. My other sister had Lydia and said her massage was an out-of-body experience. She will be booking another massage for January and will be driving 3 hours from Wisconsin just to get one. That right there says a lot. Everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. It is a cute, quaint and is a relaxing atmosphere and a must all for someone looking for an awesome massage. If you want an ultimate experience then I recommend getting a steam treatment done right before your massage. It really helps to loosen up your muscles. I typically get a 90 minute massage ($115). Tina communicates with you prior and her massage feels customized to your needs. I love that she is able to read your body and adjust as she sees fit. I have supported Body Fountain for several years. I've patronized their business at both locations and remained loyal despite other spa options in the area. Recently I was assessed a $130 cancellation fee which I disagreed with. Furthermore, I found the staff extremely rude in handling this situation. I spoke directly with the owner who seemed more focused on being justified with adhering to her company policy versus maintaining a loyal client. I requested a refund of a gift certificate that I recently purchased and was told that there was no way to provide a refund. I found the owners explanation of why my refund request was being denied disingenuous and her overall attitude exuding arrogance. As a business owner I understand the need for policies and procedures. As a consumer I don't believe that company policies and procedures should be excessively punitive and so egregiously inflexible causing a bad customer experience. I will NEVER support this business again or refer them to my colleagues. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the manner I was treated and felt a total disregard for my business. I hope that my experience serves as a cautionary tale so others can avoid the total disrespect that I experienced. read more

I wanted a massage so I found a random place nearby which happened to be Body Fountain. First, they were so flexible with my appointment. As I went to go to my appointment, I realized I had a flat tire. I had to fill my tire up, drop it off at the auto shop, then Uber to Body Fountain. They changed my appointment time so I would still be able to make it! Once I arrived, it was very calm and I was greeted by their therapy dog, Sherman (such a cutie)! Alanna was my massage therapist and she took the time to ask if I had any specific concerns/areas. It was a wonderfully relaxing massage after such a stressful car event earlier!
