My experience was nothing short of fantastic! Laura gave me a manicure and pedicure that look amazing. I have done laser hair removal at 2 different places, the first was a med spa that I never saw real results and the second was done at a facility by a professional. The second time for a lot of the hair, but still not all of it and not any of the thinner or lighter hairs and could not do any over tattoos. Electrolysis has helped me get rid of unwanted hair, regardless of the color or my skin type. It's absolutely the best investment I've ever made and Lexi is the best I've worked with. I have hard gels over my own nails and a lot of salons try to convince me I have acrylics!! Can't do those--have an allergic reaction every time and I've been screwed in a couple of instances. But last year, when I sat down with Jen and showed her what my gal uses at home and she totally understood I did hard gels, she did an amazing job. I left there one happy soul! That is the reason I did NOT hesitate to go back this year. Once again she did a great job and I left there again one happy person! Jen prides herself on making sure every one is happy and gets what they need to get their nails done. It's family owned and family operated. She admitted that if she hires someone and gets complaints about the job they did, they're done! Really true pride of ownership. Her daughter is a cutie and very sweet as well. I went online and searched for "hair salons near me" and the salon in Rockaway Beach was closed for the day. I saw Tina's Hair Salon in Garibaldi not far away and actually somewhere we'd be passing heading to Fred Meyer in Tillamook. Tina's was open for business on Saturday, but had a customer ahead of me and asked if I could return 30 minutes later. That gave me and my husband time to enjoy the nearby Bayfront Bakerty while I waited to have my hair cut. Tina's Hair Salon seemed to be the hub for news on local happenings. Tina listened to my request to trim my bangs and cut the rest to reshape my out of control hair that was flipping out rather than under like it was supposed to. While Tina cut away, she shared relationship advice from a woman married 60 years and tips she gave moms with daughters who wouldn't care for their hair. Tina has picked up many nuggets during her 35 years in the profession. I enjoyed Tina's chatting and I was very happy with the hair cut as well as the reasonable $20 charge. I would definitely go back! Tina's Hair Salon isn't fancy, but it's worth the stop.
