Rather than just assume it was gone I figured i would spend the $130 on a service call and see if an experienced technician could solve the problem. Technician advised me he could not get it out as well. He was honest and told me the part needed ($600) was not worth replacing due to the age (15 yrs) of the water heater. The Serviceman, Josh, arrived, 15 min early on my appointment day. He was so professional, and friendly, from the time he arrived, until the time he left. He was optimistic that he could fix my problem...and answered a lot of other questions I had about my system. He couldn't have been nicer! He was confident that he knew what the problem was. We had problems with the Warranty Company....getting authorization to cover the work that needed to be done and Josh, with the approval of Keith, stayed until we got the job done.
