Before meeting Emily, we had met with one other immigration attorney regarding our adjustment of status case (marriage based petition). Although he had great reviews, he did not seem very confident that he would be able to help us convince USCIS past our one or two 'red flags' (nothing serious) that our case was genuine. On the other hand, Emily was very confident she could handle our case and laid out a plan to ensure a positive outcome. She was very detail oriented and gave us a list of specific pieces of evidence that would be required. I hired emily to work on my mom's green card case. The case was difficult due to some documentation issues but she kept moving forward and grinding on. We had many problems with the postal service and delivery and emily still helped straighten that out when it wasn't really her problem. When USCIS sent us a letter for a medical exam that didn't give the normal amount of time which was their mistake to get the medical. She fought to get the case approved even though we couldn't get the medical done before the deadline because the doctor kept giving us delays from his office. It was approved without any interview! She was very reasonable and flexible on fee payments and never asked for more money even after spending a lot of extra time on our case.
