Suits, dress shirts, a blazer, ties, a pocket square, and belts. Even a trendy umbrella I purchased back in 2017. Everything is custom-fit and custom-made from the highest quality standard materials that I've ever seen. I love the process from start to finish. Going through the books and samples and picking out the materials and designs. Coming in for the fittings. And then eventually walking out with my new swag and then wearing it for the first time. Just as impressive is the customer service and pride they take in their work. I'm not a celebrity or Fortune 500 executive, but that's how the staff have made me feel each and every time I've spent my money here. Stop in and ask for Cathy. You can thank me here later. Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with Richard Bennett Tailors and do not recommend them…read more I had a custom suit of theirs dropped off for alterations in April 2026 and was assured they would be ready for a June event. They were then unresponsive after several (4+) repeated emails and a phone call and they did not have the suit ready by the deadline, so I had to get a suit from a different shop. They then assured me that they would have the alterations finished 2 weeks afterwards in June. It is now September 2026 and they have let me know that they did not even start these alterations. More broadly, It has been over a year since the construction of the suit and Richard Bennet Tailors does not have a suit that fits me yet. I do not have confidence in this tailor based on my personal experience and am quite disappointed. I write this wishing that the experience was instead positive.

I'm tall with very long arms, alll the department stores had to offer was the same tired fare. I made an appointment at Balani . John took care of business, professional, friendly, and honest. I got exactly what I needed on a tight timeline. They offer a ton of options in regards to fabric, cut, and color. Be sure to get some custom shirts as well, they make all the difference. You pay for what you get so be prepared to spend a couple of bucks, but come on man, you deserve it.

Since then the experience has been abysmal. I've not been provided any updates despite multiple follow ups. Have connected with a manager and was promised expedient service but nothing. I still don't have any of the items. At such premium prices, I would expect top notch service. Avoid this place - several other custom clothiers that are much better.

As for the ordered shirt, they had supply chain problems, apparently, and it never came. They refunded me the money, but my understanding was that I would still be getting the shirt. They were amazing for both my stylish son, and my hard to fit body! They had a great selection of styles, they carry their own inventory in-stock, and the prices were very fair. It is a business where attention to detail is everything and they were so attentive- checking the sleeve length, making sure the pant length is correct, triple checking that all the accessories are there and operable. I cannot recommend them enough and am super happy that I have a great place to go to get my next tuxedo!

In a nutshell: I've…read moreshopped here once before and DO NOT recommend purchasing anything online because if it doesn't fit, you are NOT getting your money back! No returns, only exchanges. If you do take a store credit, no proof of return and no voucher is given. You better just hope it went to your email. Customer service not so great in store. There are too many clothing stores in the world to go through the hassle here. The story: I purchased a jean dress online earlier this week. I usually wear a size small but the dress that I ordered was really tight so I ended up physically going to the store to exchange the dress. Well, they only had one medium size left (the one on the mannequin) so I walked up to the guy at the cash register to ask for help and he had a hard time deciding whether or not he should pause his conversation on the telephone to help me out. He ended up putting the phone down for two seconds to help me out and helped me to the dressing room. I tried the dress on, it fit perfect, but then I noticed that there was a hole on the side of the dress (looked like a moth got a hold of it). The guy says (while holding the phone to his ear, "I can fix the hole." Ummm, no thank you! I thought it was the weirdest thing. Why would I want to purchase a dress with a patched up hole on the side? So I then tell him that I just want to return the dress. Him: Do you want a credit or would you like to exchange the dress? Me: No thank you, I just want my money back. Well they dont accept returns, even though I bought that dress that same week and even though the last medium had a moth hole in it. Anyways, I tried on a different dress and guess what??? Another freaking moth hole. I didn't see anything else I liked so I just had to take the store credit. So I was waiting for him to give me a voucher and NO VOUCHER! He say's it's in your email. Well guess what, I don't have that email connected to my phone so I basically had to leave the store and take his word for it because I didn't need them having my personal email. No receipt, no voucher, absolutely no proof that I returned the dress. TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE HERE and 50 bucks gone if I don't see anything else I like. And 50 bucks gone if there is no email.
