Husband & I moved into our first home together. The grout between the tile of the 2-3 year old floor needed cleaning, we found Ernesto online, very friendly & we were excited to get this done. We were quoted $750 for roughly 700 sqft of floor cleaning with a time estimate of 3-4 hours (found out later this price was way too much, that's our fault for not doing as much research due to time constraint). We weren't expecting the floors to look brand new by any means. However, the grout looked almost exactly the same and the job was done within 2 hours. He said to let the grout dry, we waited as he instructed & said to call him if there is any issues. I've followed up with him for the past two weeks to see what can be done but my texts and calls have gone unanswered. Hope this helps. read more

In a world where people check reviews before they choose services I would like to leave a review before anyone makes the same mistakes I did . I contacted this company to refinish my floors . They came and left some spots in my office that they messed up (check pictures below ) I politely called and asked if they can come and fix it I was ignored after several calls and texts ! Check the picture of the chat . They specifically asked for cash because they know how they work . My story: So after several months of waiting to move into our new house, we were left with a filthy carpet. To add to my stress, we had to wait over the weekend to have city water turned on. Then the person I had initially hired to clean our carpet (Carpet cleaner "A") was to arrive at 10am. I didn't get a call or message the day before nor today for appointment confirmation. I was half way into the 45 minute drive to arrive at my house (we have not moved I yet since we need to clean the house first) and when I called and texted carpet cleaner "A" he didn't respond. When I finally get his call back, he said his work van stranded him somewhere and he couldn't clean my carpet. Gee, thanks, he couldn't even take the initiative to call me Cleaner "A" also suggested for me to call someone else to do the job! So here it goes. I am the office manager of a medical clinic in Pasadena. Our linoleum flooring needed floor was stripping badly as it has built up of wax in the past few years. In fact it is so thick that in areas, it is starting to flake off from heavy foot traffic. And then, I figured since we are seeking wax removal service, they can steam clean our carpet too at the same time. This is where ERNESTO's carpet cleaning comes to the rescue. I called late afternoon on Thursday inquiring about services. I get a call back within 15 minutes. The next day Friday, they came to see our clinic and we walked through and discussed what needs to be done. Since I am responsible for the maintenance of our office, I wanted to ensure I was contracting with a fully qualified crew or else my name will be as dirty as the floor to be cleaned. After our discussion, i asked when they can clean our office as I said it can only be done on weekends. Guess what? Ernesto says tomorrow-Saturday! I was joyed that we could have a very clean floor by Monday. Well, the crew promised to be at our office at 0900AM. And you know what? They were exactly on time! They worked on removal of floor wax, followed by sealing and then steam clean all the carpeted areas. The crew worked meticulously, dedicated and very productive. They were here all morning, all afternoon and into early evening. When I arrived at the office on Monday morning, I thought I walked into the wrong office! the carpet was clean as new and the linoleum flooring looked exactly the first day it was installed. It was polished, clean and I could finally see the original color once again! And better yet, it made the room look larger because the flooring is now the original light color. So there you have it. I was skeptical in the beginning but each step of the way, Ernesto and his crew proved me wrong. The professionalism, the work ethics and the results created a winning combination. Will we use Ernesto in the future? You bet we will and on a regular basis from now on. It's not often you find a hard working crew that can meet the demands of a "neat freak" office manager. After 20 years of built up wax, Ernesto was able to make my floors looked as good as they did when they were 1st installed!! I texted Ernesto at 9am after reading the sum of 6 reviews posted on Yelp. I needed my carpets cleaned that same day after moving out of my large 2-bdrm apartment. He texted me right back - within 5 minutes - and agreed to do the job at 3pm. He wouldn't give me a quote until he could see my place. I got a text at 3pm letting me know he was running 45 minutes behind. That was fine with me as I had some flexibility. He and his brother Javier arrived at 4pm and Javier quoted me $150 for 3 rooms. He tried to sell me hard on the $200 for shampoo AND extraction, but I turned it down. My carpets hadn't been shampooed in 3 years and I had little black dots of trapped dirt on the high-traffic areas. About 45 minutes after they started the job, they were done and the carpets looked spanking clean and like new. I appreciated these guys' willingness to schedule me in at the last minute and their thoroughness and efficiency. I think $150's pretty steep for the time it took them to do the job, but I figured i was also paying for the convenience. I was happy with their work and would use them again. read more

Called on a Saturday to schedule an appointment the next day at 1pm. They were very easy to talk to both on the phone and in person. Javier and a partner showed up on Sunday, and they were very friendly and explained everything clearly. I wanted my ceramic tile floor professionally cleaned and that is what they did. I had hired a cleaning lady the week before to clean my floor but she wasn't able to. She had mopped it 3 times and couldn't get it clean. I asked the owner 2 times for one, I was told 2 times that I would get one and still nothing. Terrible, rather unprofessional and seriously lacking in the knowledge department. I called because they advertised that they do restoration and cleaning. I needed a cleaning and restoration of slate on the front and back porch. When I called the man who answered sounded like he just rolled out of bed at home (basing this on background noise that I heard). Not to mention that I was having a difficult time communicating with him due to language barrier, English I believe is not his first language which would be fine IF he even knew what slate was. He asked me several times what I wanted and then asked me to explain what slate was. If this is the company's specialty (cleaning and restoration) shouldn't he know what type of stone slate is?? read more

His phone etiquette is very questionable and he just acted as if he did not want to go to work today. I decided to use his service, based on good ratings from Yelp, to restore shine to my dull marble floors (also remove some old stains on the floors) in the hallway and kitchen and master (along with carpeting cleaning of carpeted rooms). He came over first and gave me an estimate, and scheduled the service on a weekend, which helped a lot due to my unavailability during the week. He didn't over-promise, which I really appreciated, and he did restore the shine to the marble floors and got rid of the stains, which I thought would possibly not happen.
