I recently decided to redo the flooring in my house. I explored and researched several places, and after talking to each highly rated companies I decided to go with Wally's because of their customer service, their warranties, and their ability to deliver what they stand by. Their price was fair and reasonable, and I chose to pay a bit more for better quality and service. I was on a tight timeline because I needed the floors done ASAP because I had to be out of my rental. However I was going to be out of town but Ron (project manager) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly during my absence. He checked in on the project daily and sent me pictures of the progress throughout the day which helped eased my stress tremendously. Ron is amazing! He's friendly, professional and was very very patient with me and always made me feel like top priority. It was a big project and I couldn't have chose a better company to deliver. Went to Wally's showroom in San Bernardino and Chris Drake, their sales rep in the store, worked with me to get different options of flooring for our house. He was so patient and helpful, showing me the different textures and density of the carpeting. It took a while to find Wally's, since they are in San Bernardino and I am in Riverside. I visited a score of nearby places first. I had to be strategic with the flooring. We have a block house, inside and out, so walls are very irregular. I have serious allergies, so we needed a wood floor with low allergy, VOC, etc. And prices had to be reasonable. Chris Rogers, the store owner at Wally's, told me he had traveled to several flooring shows around the country recently, because he wanted to have flooring that also worked for our smaller and older homes in the Inland Empire. That is so true. A lot of the colors, patterns, and shiny finishes available elsewhere were simply not attractive in my small house. I found the perfect floor in a sample that Chris had just put out from his travels. Ronald's installation team came out to install. Take note. I have curved masonry walls. Ronald was determined to cut each piece of flooring precisely to fit the irregularities in the wall. They did an awesome job, and I know it was a lot of work! I can't sing their praises enough! I am in the middle of a room remodel, my contractor contacted 5 different carpet people he works with and they were either no show or never completed the estimate. Problem is I have a huge solid oak chest bed no one wanted to deal with. Wally's to the rescue, two times. I spent almost two months looking for the just the right tile. Bought more than 2,500 sq ft of tile and supplies from Home Depot. They delivered five plus pallets of material and placed them on my driveway. They would not place them into my garage. That material is very heavy. We managed to hand carry the mortar into my garage. So, all of the tile remained on broken pallets in front of my house on the driveway. I had to cover the tile with tarp to protect it from the rain. Before they even got the job, Wally's sent over a crew with a pallet jack to move the tile into my garage. (First time to the rescue). First step to re-doing the floor in my new house was to rip out the linoleum and carpet. Home Depot's contractor did that very quickly. Afterwards, they informed me that they could not do the job. The floor was not level. Wow! what a shock. It's a brand-new house. I watched it being constructed. I called the builder. The builder said that the floor had been rough leveled with a grinder and that there will be places where it will not be even. It's allowed by code and the tile contractor can use leveling compound to make it even more even. Home Depot put me in touch with contractors who could level the floor. One said the floor did not need leveling, the other wanted to bid the entire job. Tiling a 2,500 sq ft plus house is a big job. It's hard to schedule someone to do it quickly. But Wally had a team available to do it. (Second time to the rescue.) They came on every scheduled day. They arrived on time. I'm happy with the work. My only regret is that I didn't buy the tile and supplies from them. read more

I called several companies, this company was the only one who arrived on time, was professional and quoted a reasonable price. came on time, the only issue I had was they sent only 1 employee to do 2 bedrooms, he did a great job but this is not a 1 person job, he moved furniture, we did remove most of the furniture prior to installation to which we are glad we did, even though charge was included in estimate to have furniture moved, this guy took 4 hrs of work which could have been done in 2 hrs if 2 people would have showed up. He was very professional I did ask why only 1 person came ? He said usually there's 2 people, please treat your employees right this is just not right in my opinion, the guy seemed exhausted, but didn't complaint about his job. I would have been ok if I had received a call prior letting us know employee called sick. Other then this incident I would definitely recommend this company, they hire very hard working employees we were very impressed this 1 person did all that work. Just next time tell us an estimate of how long it will take to do the job, we installed carpet and flooring before. We did tip him he deserved it.. read more

So my partner in crime and I bought a home in Redlands. One problem: the installed vinyl flooring. It was a floating floor, but floating too much. Panels weren't locked in properly. Since our home is a one story ranch, and the flooring was everywhere except in the bathrooms -- this issue was everywhere. I called around and was told the same flooring could be put down right -- but that it was close to installing a new floor altogether. The guys at Wally's were pushing Pergo Extreme. It is a standout product and so we bit the bullet and committed to this expensive transition. It was worth every dollar. The product, the interactions with Tom and Dave, their flexibility. Everything. They had to return twice for two tiny issues and they did so gladly instead of with resentment. This team was so good we've hired them to carpet our condo that's an hour away. Christopher Drake" Chris" from Wally's Carpet & Tile, Chris is one of their Sales Representatives who came into the house. Chris is very knowledgeable , professional , he knows his job, very patient and most importantly he won't let you feel pressured. He meticulously assessed my house and gave me his honest opinions , which is a real plus to me. Chris won't pressure you at all , he gave us samples to sit on it for days. He recommended to have those samples lay on the floor to every corner of the house with different lightings before making our decisions .The house was built in 1992, right off the bat he saw my stairs which then Chris told me it is going to be a challenge and costly.
