Wally's Carpet and Tile just installed approximately 650 sq. ft of porcelain tile in our home and did an awesome job. Their cleanup and debris removal daily was excellent. From my first contact with Wally's Carpet and Tile from Shane and his installers Juan / crew was very professional. I received 5 separate bids to do the work with Wally's, giving a fair and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone interested in putting in hard surface flooring. Thanks, Wally's Carpet and Tile. read more

This is our third time using Wally's carpet and tile for our home flooring needs. Chris was very helpful and accommodating with helping us get our final flooring project taken care of. When we called him out to measure and give us an estimate, we were so happy to find out that the floor we had put in a couple of years ago was still available. We finally decided to tear out all the carpet and put in the same flooring that we had put in a couple of years ago in our kitchen, bathrooms, and dining room. We are so grateful to Wally's Carpet and their team for making this project so easy and affordable for us. Santiago, Santiago Junior, and their team did such a beautiful job on our hard floors and made sure it was installed perfectly and matched up with the other flooring that we already had in place. They left everything neat and orderly, and even moved all of our furniture back into place when they were done, which we appreciated more than we can say! Jose came to install carpet in the two bedrooms and got it done so quickly, all in one day. He made sure to vacuum, sweep and clean up any mess that happened with the installation. We highly recommend Wally's to anyone who is looking to have any type of flooring project done, they are highly professional, and their team of people are skilled, knowledgeable, respectful and got the job done professionally, quickly and with zero issues! We just want to say thank you to all of you and please know how grateful we are, we are so in love with the way our house looks. We want to show it off to everyone. John and Antoinette G. read more

I recently decided to redo the flooring in my house. I explored and researched several places, and after talking to each highly rated companies I decided to go with Wally's because of their customer service, their warranties, and their ability to deliver what they stand by. Their price was fair and reasonable, and I chose to pay a bit more for better quality and service. I was on a tight timeline because I needed the floors done ASAP because I had to be out of my rental. However I was going to be out of town but Ron (project manager) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly during my absence. He checked in on the project daily and sent me pictures of the progress throughout the day which helped eased my stress tremendously. Ron is amazing! He's friendly, professional and was very very patient with me and always made me feel like top priority. It was a big project and I couldn't have chose a better company to deliver. The installer Santiago and his team also did an amazing job! From renovating the tiles, to installing my floor, baseboards, and the clean up. There was a minor issue after the floors were done and Santiago came over the same day and fixed the issue. I am beyond satisfied and happy with the way my floor looks. You cannot go wrong with Wally's!! read more

Wally's Carpet and Tile is AMAZING!!!!!! I wish I could leave more than five stars for this review. Chris was the representative that has helped me for the past 2 1/2 years, and the establishment is family owned!! He is so informative, and quick with communication. This is second time coming here to purchase flooring for our house, and it will continue to be the only place that we get our flooring from forever. Not only do they have affordable prices, but Chris was able to check availability and even got me my product the SAME day. I've recommended this place to a few of my friends/neighbors, and they too, had such a positive experience with this establishment. I didn't feel rushed or pressured when looking at the samples like some places. Bottom line, support your local businesses and go here for your flooring and tiling needs!! read more

I hired Wally's carpet and tile to install my porcelain tile I purchased from Italy for a kitchen remodel. His installers did a wonderful job and Tom was quick to fix an issue with the wrong grout, and the installers removed and replaced the grout all in the same day. They are extremely hard workers. The tile came out beautiful. I'm very happy with their work and highly recommend them. read more

I purchased my carpet from the San Bernardino store. Kevin was amazing. He let me take samples home and I actually returned to the store a few times because I am very picky & wanted to consider different styles. Kevin was very helpful, he listened to what I wanted & was very patient with me. He is very easy going and easy to work with. It took about 2 weeks for my carpet to come in & he was flexible with installation as I had a lot to consider when moving all my furniture out. This company actually helps move large furniture at no additional cost compared to other companies. The installation crew were very nice and hard working. They did an excellent job. Kevin followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied with the job. He transferred to the Upland store, but remained my sales rep, which I really appreciated about this company as well. Their prices are reasonable and cheaper than Lowe's & Home Depot. I give them a 10/10 & will for sure do work with them again. Thank you all for making my home look beautiful & like new again! read more

This company is amazing. We decided to use them based on two reviews from friends. They did not disappoint. Chris took great care of us. He communicated with us every step of the way. The gentlemen that installed out carpet and flooring were great. We needed tile repaired and installed due to redoing our stair case and they had the man for that as well. From onset to finish I feel they went above and beyond. They were always punctual and communicated if they were running late, which did not happen often. Thank you Marcie and Danny Morris. read more

5 Stars This business was very responsive and attentive to my needs. They were super easy to contact and on time for our initial consult for our flooring project estimate. Upon arrival, Kevin was quick to do measurements and brought samples for us to narrow our decision on the color and material we preferred. Kevin demonstrated great professionalism and knowledge on the different floor materials and recommended the material that best fit our needs. We opted with a new vinyl material that is waterproof and has a bevel design that makes a big difference in the appearance and feel. Kevin knew I was eager to start the project and arranged installation quickly, the entire process was stress free and swift. We are very happy with the end result and installation. The installers were friendly and had over 25 years of experience. Thanks Chris and Kevin. Product: London Fog Luxe Vinyl read more

Wally's knocked it out of the park again We had a 2 water issues right before having guests in our home. Went to Wally's showroom in San Bernardino and Chris Drake, their sales rep in the store, worked with me to get different options of flooring for our house. He was so patient and helpful, showing me the different textures and density of the carpeting. After I took samples home, to see which one would work the best, I contacted Wally's with my selection and they pulled through. They were able to get the carpet ordered and shipped to them so that we were able to get the flooring installed the day before our guests came in, it looks beautiful and we are so happy with the selection of carpet. The install guys were actually really cool too. They made sure everything was cleaned up and beautiful before they left. Thank you Chris Rogers, the owner, and Chris Drake for making this stressful situation an easier experience.! read more

It took a while to find Wally's, since they are in San Bernardino and I am in Riverside. I visited a score of nearby places first. I had to be strategic with the flooring. We have a block house, inside and out, so walls are very irregular. I have serious allergies, so we needed a wood floor with low allergy, VOC, etc. And prices had to be reasonable. Chris Rogers, the store owner at Wally's, told me he had traveled to several flooring shows around the country recently, because he wanted to have flooring that also worked for our smaller and older homes in the Inland Empire. That is so true. A lot of the colors, patterns, and shiny finishes available elsewhere were simply not attractive in my small house. I found the perfect floor in a sample that Chris had just put out from his travels. Ronald's installation team came out to install. Take note. I have curved masonry walls. Ronald was determined to cut each piece of flooring precisely to fit the irregularities in the wall. They did an awesome job, and I know it was a lot of work! The estimate was right on, everything was cleaned up very well. Highly recommended! read more

I can't sing their praises enough! I am in the middle of a room remodel, my contractor contacted 5 different carpet people he works with and they were either no show or never completed the estimate. Problem is I have a huge solid oak chest bed no one wanted to deal with. I contacted Wally's Carpet , Chris was out the next day , had carpet in stock that I was looking for, installation crew was out the following day. I can't brag about the installation crew enough, they had my huge bed dismantled, carpet installed, and bed reassembled in 2 1/2 hours. Everything done within 2 days. I will definitely use them again. read more

Wally's to the rescue, two times. I spent almost two months looking for the just the right tile. Bought more than 2,500 sq ft of tile and supplies from Home Depot. They delivered five plus pallets of material and placed them on my driveway. They would not place them into my garage. That material is very heavy. We managed to hand carry the mortar into my garage. So, all of the tile remained on broken pallets in front of my house on the driveway. I had to cover the tile with tarp to protect it from the rain. Before they even got the job, Wally's sent over a crew with a pallet jack to move the tile into my garage. (First time to the rescue). First step to re-doing the floor in my new house was to rip out the linoleum and carpet. Home Depot's contractor did that very quickly. Afterwards, they informed me that they could not do the job. The floor was not level. Wow! what a shock. It's a brand-new house. I watched it being constructed. I called the builder. The builder said that the floor had been rough leveled with a grinder and that there will be places where it will not be even. It's allowed by code and the tile contractor can use leveling compound to make it even more even. Home Depot put me in touch with contractors who could level the floor. One said the floor did not need leveling, the other wanted to bid the entire job. Tiling a 2,500 sq ft plus house is a big job. It's hard to schedule someone to do it quickly. But Wally had a team available to do it. (Second time to the rescue.) They came on every scheduled day. They arrived on time. I'm happy with the work. My only regret is that I didn't buy the tile and supplies from them. read more

We recently decided to replace the carpet in our home and had selected a company to do the work. They seemed slow to get started so we contacted Chris Drake at Wally's Carpet and ended up having a better experience than we could've hoped for. Not only was Chris prompt and personable, he showed us several samples (in our home) and helped us select what was best for us, we ended up getting a better unlit carpet than the other guys had proposed, we also got a much better price for the job. I put in an estimate request (6 different companies on Yelp) to have carpet installed in a 250 square foot bedroom. Wally's Carpet and another company responded right away. The other company fell off the messaging through Yelp about two days later. Not Wally's Carpet, they continued to be responsive and answer my questions. I hired them because of their customer service, very reasonable price, and they didn't mind that it was a small job. Chris and Kevin were also very polite and professional. I called several companies, this company was the only one who arrived on time, was professional and quoted a reasonable price. came on time, the only issue I had was they sent only 1 employee to do 2 bedrooms, he did a great job but this is not a 1 person job, he moved furniture, we did remove most of the furniture prior to installation to which we are glad we did, even though charge was included in estimate to have furniture moved, this guy took 4 hrs of work which could have been done in 2 hrs if 2 people would have showed up. He was very professional I did ask why only 1 person came ? He said usually there's 2 people, please treat your employees right this is just not right in my opinion, the guy seemed exhausted, but didn't complaint about his job. I would have been ok if I had received a call prior letting us know employee called sick. Other then this incident I would definitely recommend this company, they hire very hard working employees we were very impressed this 1 person did all that work. Just next time tell us an estimate of how long it will take to do the job, we installed carpet and flooring before. We did tip him he deserved it.. read more

So my partner in crime and I bought a home in Redlands. One problem: the installed vinyl flooring. It was a floating floor, but floating too much. Panels weren't locked in properly. Since our home is a one story ranch, and the flooring was everywhere except in the bathrooms -- this issue was everywhere. I called around and was told the same flooring could be put down right -- but that it was close to installing a new floor altogether. The guys at Wally's were pushing Pergo Extreme. It is a standout product and so we bit the bullet and committed to this expensive transition. It was worth every dollar. The product, the interactions with Tom and Dave, their flexibility. Everything. They had to return twice for two tiny issues and they did so gladly instead of with resentment. This team was so good we've hired them to carpet our condo that's an hour away. Vendors and contractors need to be as straightforward as Wally's. Thanks Guys for the GREAT JOB. read more

I recently decided to get rid of my carpet and tiles in a 1,684 sq ft 2 story house. From doing my homework searching for companies and stores who can trust the project I came across Wally's Carpet in San Bernardino. I made a phone call at the store to schedule a day for assessment and cost estimate of the house. They Immediately gave me an appointment free of charge. Christopher Drake" Chris" from Wally's Carpet & Tile, Chris is one of their Sales Representatives who came into the house. Chris is very knowledgeable , professional , he knows his job, very patient and most importantly he won't let you feel pressured. He meticulously assessed my house and gave me his honest opinions , which is a real plus to me. Chris won't pressure you at all , he gave us samples to sit on it for days. He recommended to have those samples lay on the floor to every corner of the house with different lightings before making our decisions .The house was built in 1992, right off the bat he saw my stairs which then Chris told me it is going to be a challenge and costly. Before Chris, I had 3 quotes presented. They told me the same thing , it is the stairs that are going to be a challenge . It's because of the way the stairs were made and cut ( Photos were attached). Wally's Carpet & Tile company will take care of you. Before they begin the stairs , Chris has asked his Higher Boss name Chris (Owner) to come to the house to look unto what they will have to work with. They explained to me thoroughly how it would look afterwards when a Vinyl will be installed over a carpet.I told them I Trust them that they will work it out and they DID!! BIG THANKS TO SANTIAGO TEAM! THEY MADE IT WORK! As you probably can tell I am not that person who can just stick to one opinion, I seek more until I know I can trust a contractor to the project. Chris suggested a carpet to be installed but I told him I want vinyl for the entire house including the stairs. He promised me that he will do his very best to make it work and send his best Men( The SANTIAGO's) to install it. His quotes from others are unbeatable and reasonable. With the competitiveness and professionalism of Chris, I decided to sign a contract with Wally's Carpet & tile for a 5 day project completion. We met the installers ,Santiago Sr and Santiago Jr, Father and Son. My Mom and I call them The Santiago Team. I cannot say more good things for these two people. They Are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! They are fast, very efficient and have work quality. They will study the work area first before they execute the work! What they did to our stairs is incredibly unbelievable! They made the IMPOSSIBLE to ACHIEVABLE! But not only the credits goes to the Santiago Team. Thank you Also for Chris Drake and their Boss Chris. They all have the good characteristics of an employee! Name it! Integrity, Work Ethic, Professionalism, Dedication, they communicate effectively, adaptable, Honesty, reliability, creativity and Confidence! The Santiago Team did an Excellent Job! They Both met our Expectations. Wally's Carpet & Tile is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Unquestionably will hire them again for our future projects! read more

First and foremost, I waited a couple of months prior to posting a review so that I could be as honest as possible and I just want to say thank you so much to everyone over at Wally's for the amazing customer service, product quality, and persistent desire to make sure everything looks perfect! Upon walking in I was greeted with a friendly "hello" and was asked if I needed any help which, with the incredible amount of variety, I really needed some assistance. Chris displays such professionalism and knowledge and it made everything a whole lot easier for someone as indecisive as myself. Now a days it's hard to crack a smile with a stranger but I left Wally's laughing every time! For my home I chose waterproof laminate flooring because I have a 5 year old son and a Great Dane so I definitely needed something I knew would be tough enough for some messes and paws. So far, it has proven to be very resistant! I've had many visitors, kids, and dogs in and out and the floor still looks absolutely beautiful! Not only is their floor the best but so is their work. I was very hesitant to hire them ( I've had previous bad experiences with different contractors) and I kept a close eye throughout the time they spent here working and I have 0 complaints, they did an awesome job and I'm extremely happy with the turnout. Ron was very meticulous with his work on my stairs and displayed his knowledge and passion every time we chatted and he made sure that I was happy with the work from start to finish!
