Ernie's had my car for four months and still couldn't get the job done correctly. The car was delivered back to me without the radiator support replacement that they were paid to do. The radiator isn't mounted in the car because of this and the car cannot be operated safely. Many other parts were paid for without being replaced. The body work that was done was amateur level at best and they have refused to make it right. I wouldn't trust them to work on my daughter's bicycle. read more

Jul 19 Tue- Show pic car is painting, even he said it was already finished yesterday, Jul 18. He also wants 80 dollars more and tricks me into the original price is 600. I discover paint quality is bad, and he wants me to pay an extra 80 for him to redo it, or he won't do anything. Why do I need to pay more for the things I promised before? They promote themselves as honest but they are not honest. Unless you know a lot about cars they consider you a sucker. Scammer for sure. They never answer the phone and no boss is in the shop. I've been a customer four times and two of the four I got screwed, and my car still isn't fixed right, but he still expects to get paid. Buyer beware! read more

I had been doing business with this shop for the past few years, every single time I had something fixed their, I had to take it back in to get whatever repair they did redone or adjusted. The first mechanic left his punch tool by the hinge of my truck hood and then proceeded to try and force my hood shut bending the spring. Ernie never made it right. Second time I went in and needed tires, I was sold tires that did not even fit my van and they continue to rub to this day, Ernie never made it right. Took my van in for service, was told my intake gasket was bad, van was in shop for weeks, was told the mechanic needed to have his dad fix the problem. Really? Also broke mass air flow sensor during his "repair". Ernie never made it right. His tech couldn't even properly install a window motor on an old chevy truck. The oil change I got on my van there was 2 quarts OVERFULL. Seriously??? At this point I'm at the mercy of this guy because I've got all these things he promises he'll make right as soon he finishes working on my Milan, Now mind you at this point I was assured repeatedly that all these problems would be made right. I didn't realize I was literally being robbed for my hard earned money until the last straw where I brought my Milan with a power steering leak, was charged 500$ for a new power steering pump only to find out that the entire issue was a 35$ pressure switch. Ernie never made it right, he's a snake, his mechanics are unqualified and irresponsible with your vehicles, he can smile and lie to your face right through his teeth. I should of learned my lesson the first time, but was repeatedly lied to and assured that my vehicles would be taken care of. After realizing he screwed me on a power steering pump job that didn't need done. Then he turns around and tells me good luck finding a mechanic for future work and then refuses to fix all the problems he's caused my vehicles. You might think your getting a "deal" or a discount, but trust me, you'll end up paying in inconvenience and for work that doesn't need to be done on your car if you bring your vehicle here. Every time I call, no one answers. They can't give me an itemized receipt because "their printer is down." They waited until I took a cab ride there to test drive my car that they had for 3 days only to find that it still wasn't drivable. Told me one price, but convinced me I had more to pay more later. Long story short, don't get your car fixed in west Lafayette. read more

They ended up lying to me about the work they had done I had to take the car back and it set for two weeks before they were able to fix the original problem a $40 job turned into lies a damaged rim and two weeks of waiting to get my car back worse than it was when I took it do not use this place read more
