I live in Indy. I worked with Joel via text. I explained what I needed for my trade, my monthly payment requirements and the apr I was approved for at another local dealer who couldnt get the same Atlas for another week. He confirmed he had approval for the deal with the manager and matched the terms. I drove an hour to see it three days later on our confirmed time, today July 27th at 10am. I thanked him for pinning it all down as I would have my kids with me and needed to sign and drive. When we got there, the 2026 new Atlas was not washed. I found two scratches. He said it would be detailed after I signed "if the deal worked out." I reminded him we had already worked the deal out. First red flag. He expected me to sign on the dotted line before seeing the Atlas clean. We went to his desk and he didnt remember anything about our agreed upon deal. I showed him our texts. He said he needed to run it through his manager. I reminded him he already did that. 15 minutes later, Ostin showed up with a much higher apr than what Joel said I was approved for. But he said his middle name was my first name so that was cool? Joel had given me confirmation for 5% on 72 months while Ostin showed me 8.74. I repeated that the terms were agreed upon before I drove up. Im not new to buying cars - he was padding the apr to make money. "It's only $16 more a month" he said. That amounts to $1500 over 72 months. I said I needed to stay at $400/month and the best they now said they could do was $478. While Ostin and Joel went to "check again" I called the lender and was told I qualified for 4.99. Which I already knew. I asked for my keys and said I wasnt moving forward. They argued with me in front of my kids and did the "is there anything we can do to make this work" routine. I reminded them we had already settled the terms and they had already ran my credit three days prior- 820 trans union credit score. Terms and pricing were agreed to on the trade and the purchase. Two more times I had to ask for my keys. They think if they hold the keys they've got you trapped. Dealerships everywhere need to stop this practice. It doesnt win you business playing psychological games. As I drove back to Indy, Joel texted me claiming I never mentioned my payment terms, the apr or that everything was settled and ready for me to pick up the Atlas. See attached texts. He tried to het me to come back and said he just "wants to move metal." Im getting another Atlas, minus the deceptive tactics of showing a dirty car to hide flaws and at the terms I knew I was already approved for. But I do hope this young man learns something from this. Honor matters. Your word - matters. Spoiler alert: they will respond with "we are so sorry we failed to meet your expectations" and lie about the situation. read more

Came here for a simple repair because other shops in town were charging an arm and a leg for parts, so even the $120 an hour for labor here was cheaper. I am glad I did- service was fast and friendly, and I can be confident in the knowledge that my VW was repaired by someone who has the right tools and training. Service (manager?) Kyle was great. I was in and out in less than an hour, just like they quoted. As you can probably tell from the pictures, I am not a car photographer so it isn't immediately apparent but the lobby for waiting was very clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of window shopping for brand new cars. read more

Purchased my vehicle here, and I totally love it. I definitely will be a return customer. They have integrity. They helped me find exactly what I wanted in a vehicle, everything that they said they followed through with. The monthly payment stayed the same even after we went to sign for it . They didn't try to do any add-ons. Some dealerships want to charge you extra for the floor mats (at signing!?!?) they didn't -my floor mats were included in my car. They are also giving me two free oil changes (And they didn't add that charge on at signing) Now this is the way to get repeat customers.They were super helpful and truthful. It feels so good to finally have a dealership that they don't try to nickel and dime you or lie to you to get you to purchase a car.I will definitely be a return customer . UPDATE (26 May 22): Changed from 1* to 3* after talking with the Service Manager (Nick Schenkel) who offered his sincere apology and disappointment for the experience. He mentioned this is not what the dealership is about and wanted to make it right. Since we're storing the vehicle close-by, they will do a maintenance check when we pull it out of storage to ensure it's road-ready including another oil change. I appreciated his candor, not making any excuses and taking responsibility for the action. Thank you! Original Review: By far one of the worst dealer service experiences I have ever encountered. Would highly recommend going somewhere else for service. On 28 Feb 22, I made an appointment for service for 12 May 2022 at 8:00 AM in conjunction with our trip to Lafayette for a college graduation. The appointment was for 60K service on our daughters 2012 VW Tiguan in prep for either storage or a road trip. Due to a coolant leak, my daughter dropped the car off on Mon, 9 May 22 and the service dept said they probably wouldn't be able to look at it until the 12 May appt...no problem w/that. Well, 12 May came and went with no call from the service dept. I called on Sat, 14 May asking for a status because we needed the car fixed before we depart the area early the following week. The Audi tech said the car had not been looked at and he'd talk to Chris on Monday and have him call us. Again...no call from Chris until I drove down from Chicago and went to the dealer in-person that afternoon to get the status. Only to be disappointed again because the mechanic was out to lunch (at 2 PM) and no info was available. Chris could not provide a decent answer when asked why the car was not seen on 12 May at the appt...only to say the appointment simply gets the car in the queue to be seen. So...a service appt at VW is really a walk-in with no expectation of when a customer could actually get their car back. I informed him and the service manager I needed to know what is wrong w/the car and estimate that day (Mon, 16 May) so we can change travel plans (i.e. flights, hotel, work) due to their complete lack of care or customer service. Later that afternoon Chris called (our first call ever from him) advising us of the coolant issue ($2,300 worth) and stating he'd call us of the 60K inspection...he never called. We were informed on Tues, 17 May the vehicle was complete (coolant and 60K service). I looked over the vehicle and saw the oil was still very black and no visible sign the oil cap had been removed to add oil because the debris on the cap was not smeared and was not able to observe coolant work due to being buried deep within the engine compartment. You kind of get a sense of culture there and know you chose the wrong place when you walk in and see an employee with their leg propped up on the desk. Given the overall lack of satisfaction so far and the lack of time remaining in the area to engage on this issue I just accepted defeat ultimately feeling like we were taken advantage of given the time crunch we were under to get the car fixed w/o significant disruption to our travel plans. read more

I was doubtful since the tires did not have that many miles on them. I also overheard them recommending new tires to someone else in the waiting area. I had the tires checked at another shop, and they verified that the tires are fine and have plenty of wear left. read more

Worst dealership ever! took my car in for axle and boot replacement. The service advisor: Chris Schiro was the worst service advisor. he looked at me and judged me thinking I would t be able to afford the repairs. Then kept talking to the two ladies at service desk who laughed and looked at me while he talked. I was behind a glass wall couldn't hear exactly what was being said. I was Given a quote and they were performed an inspection however they had to order parts. I had no oil leak before that. I came back picked my car up, then pulled up to my garage and I had a massive oil leak. When I called I was told they'd look at it when we got the parts when we received the parts which was to be in two days. A week later they hadn't called. I called the lady who answered did not apologize but told me that. The service advisor left unexpectedly and they were overwhelmed as they have a pretty bad scheduling company etc. they did not apologize and scheduled me for an appointment 5 days later. Today I pick up my car still oil leaking, my axle isn't changed yet I paid $2800 no one called to let me know my car was ready. Zero communication. My car is running like it got messed up really bad. I believe in second chances but after two horrific experiences, I refuse to give them a third. I own a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta which is a diesel. During my first service at 60,000 miles I was quoted for spark plugs. This caught me off guard since diesel engines do not require sparkplugs. When I corrected the employee at the counter he told me that my car wasn't a diesel and that I was mistaken. I sarcastically replied that he should go ahead and give me a quote for a tank-drop since I have been putting diesel in my car this whole time. He was annoyed by my comment and after continuing to argue with me, we both marched out to the garage so that he could show me that my car wasn't a diesel. Of course, he was wrong. I assume that they tried to rip me off on sparkplugs because I am a young woman without knowing that I am a mechanical engineer. So I decided to give them another chance at 70,000 miles which went fine without any issues. At 80,000 miles I came back in for some transmission work and an oil change in addition to a couple of other things. The quote they gave me was insane! At first he said $1800 but when I started probing he changed his tune to be $1200. They quoted me $600 for the transmission alone! $70 for the pollen filter (a $20 part), $150 for the fuel filter, $80 to drain the sunroof, and $120 for oil change. This added up to $1200 after he included tax and "supplies". I asked him about the "supplies" since parts should be included with the quote for each job and he said its to cover hazardous waste fees. Keep in mind, that this doesn't even include the tires which are recommended at 80,000 miles. I pulled up the Volkswagen website on my phone which recommends what services should be done at each milestone and it stated that everything should be approximately $600 (including tires) at 80,000 miles. When I showed this to the attendant, he told me that the Volkswagen website was wrong and that he was correct. I assume he tried to rip me off because I am young so when I chose to say that I was going to walk away, the attendant became very rude and tried to use scare tactics. He said that he's booked for the next three months and "good luck getting another appointment". However, I don't buy this for a second since I scheduled my appointment 36 hours in advance. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, because if they think they can get away with it, they will try to rip you off! Beware!!! read more
