I even learned how to take a front tire off thank you for that! $11 for parts and $10 for labor to get a tube replaced in my bike which is pretty standard so fair pricing. A nice gentleman with a face tattoo serviced my bike. He had it done and ready to go by the time I returned. So it was such a smooth process. Even while leaving I had another worker open the door and offer to assist me putting my bike back in the car. I just loved the overall warm, kind, and helpful customer service here. I felt right at home.

The service isn't always the best (I should give 4 stars for how eager they are to close in the final hour of operation, and how unfriendly they can become at that time), but the products are good, solid, affordable, and the pricing is not bad, the normal hours service is really great, and the best part is that all of your money is staying in the community because this store, which has a lot in common in terms of size and selection with a big box store, is actually a little family owned business with only this location! I thought the machine was being mean. Ride #1 was pretty good on my 30 minute ride. It's best to check the speed adjustment and try the looseness or tightness of the handle bars, pedaling, and braking system before taking off. (1st time trail and sidewalk) My 2nd excursion was at another location close to the 1st one. Again, I was just trying to get 30 minutes of exercise in to my program. I always save about 3 to 5 minutes to make sure I place the bicycle back before an extra charge. I thoroughly enjoyed these bicycle opportunities. I'm not through yet. Houston B-Cycle is SO fun, easy and inexpensive…read more My wife and I enjoyed 24 hour access to bikes across the downtown area for only $5 (all tax and fees included) The catch is you only get a 60 minute session at a time, before having to return it to a location. But the plus side is you can literally return it to any of their locations for 1 second and then rent them again (as long as not all the bikes are rented at that location, and someone isn't waiting for a bike). If you go over the 60 minute session, I believe it's a couple more bucks for an extra 30 minutes. Such a great addition to the area, and so much fun. Check them out next time you're in the area!

I recently got back into bicycling after about 20 years. Adam and his staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and they took the time to explain everything without making me feel like I was out of my element. I ultimately decided on the X-Lab RS7 Di2, a full-carbon bike with electronic shifting that I got for around $3,300 W/ Continental tires upgrade. Still about half of what I would have expected to pay for a similar bike from some of the bigger-name brands. Adam gave me a great breakdown of X-Lab compared to the larger brands, and I'm extremely happy with my decision. They also did a customized fit based on my height, riding style, and what I wanted out of the bike, and Adam helped me with upgrades like better Continental tires, a more comfortable saddle, and pedals. Travis was also great and took the time to explain additional accessories, maintenance, and everything I needed to know about the electronic shifting and taking care of the bike. The customer service was honestly what impressed me the most. Adam consistently stayed in contact with me and kept me updated on the bike's arrival, which was important because this particular model has been difficult to find and sells out quickly. I had contacted other shops that said they would take my information and get back to me, but I never heard from them. Even though Planetary Cycles is about an hour across town from me, I specifically wanted to give them my business because of the level of service I received. Adam and his entire crew made the whole experience easy, comfortable, and enjoyable, especially for someone who is still learning about the cycling world. I couldn't be happier with the bike or the experience, and I'll definitely be going back to Planetary Cycles for future bikes, upgrades, and service. Highly recommend Adam and his team to anyone, especially if you're newer to cycling and want a shop that will actually take the time to educate you and make sure you get the right bike and setup for your needs.

In addition to having scooters, Swerv also has a snack bar, so we purchased some items to hydrate. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the place was nice and clean. Came in a group and we bought 1 hour. Came out to a little over $80. The staff was friendly and informative. The girl with the braces who work there had some cute lashes and let us know not to ride on the sidewalks. I agreed not to ride on the sidewalks but when I saw Club Island 1515, I rode on the side walk but don't tell the police ‍ lol. We got on our scooters and I was like Ooooooh THEY GOT A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER! My entire ride felt like the club. I had my Apple Music playlist on Go! I ride motorcycles so wind blowing on me is everything while in motion. Like it really means something to me. I was so looking forward to this. Now this was my first time and I didn't know what I was doing. My cousin crashed one time but eventually got the hang of it lol. I was a little rusty starting off but got it down pretty fast. I had no idea they can go that fast. It was like 25mph which SOUNDS slow but uhm... rest assured it was not. Pressing the gas all the way down too fast will send you souring quickly. We rode around downtown for about 45 minutes then made our way back to Glyders using GPS of course. I don't know my way around the downtown of any city. They gave us free margaritas when we got back! They really rocked my world! Once we turned in our scooters, WE DIDNT REMEMBER WHERE WE PARKED . Glyders has a ATV they gave us a lift to where "we thought" my car was. We got off the ATV only to discover we were lost in the middle of downtown Houston lmao. We walked around hopelessly and hot. Lol It became exhausting and stressful. We looked and looked and walked and walked. Finally I was like HOLD UP I didn't sign up for this! I called Glyders and told them I was at the corner of Travis and Bell. They pulled up on us and picked us back up lol. They were like where did you park? US: "uhmmm... it was like a square parking lot that said $10 parking and we parked on the side so we didn't have to pay $10" lmao. This describes every parking lot downtown hahahaha. I took a picture in my iPhone on the walk to Glyders after we parked and it had Fannin street on the sign in the pic. The pic location told us it was taken off Fannin and Walker St. so Glyders took us there. I have never been So Happy to see my car ever in all of my life. I wanted to kiss the car window. GLYDERZ GETS 5 STARS only because they can't get 10 stars. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be bringing more people with me
