Then a couple of months ago, my coworkers bullied me (lol) into going to an escape room with them. I honestly didn't know what to expect, and was dreading the entire thing for days leading up to the appointment. Escape Time doesn't look like much from the outside - I was extremely unimpressed. But as soon as you step inside, you realize the true meaning of, "it's bigger on the inside" (iykyk). The front desk area is pretty spacious and had some interesting and fun decorations. I appreciate the little best times/high score board. I think if I did more rooms, I'd love to get my name one a high score board somewhere. The staff was very friendly, and we met our game master (it's been a while :( I forgot her name ). She was honestly kind of amazing. She gave a thorough introduction, and she was great at reading our group throughout our game. She kept hints to a minimum as she could tell that we wanted to figure things out for ourselves. I have to say, I was extremely surprised by how much fun I had. The puzzles were nothing at all like I expected, and there were a lot of nifty surprise elements. I really appreciated how they paid attention to small details and crafted those details into the story/puzzle. I ended up having such a fantastic time, I went back a second time last weekend. We had a different game master this time (Liam), but he was also just as great as the previous one. I don't know how Escape Time finds these employees, but they made both experiences incredibly pleasant and smooth. For my second visit, I walked away feeling the same sense of appreciation for all the fine details. I'm obviously being vague, but that's to save from ruining any of the fun surprises in store for you at Escape Time! Honestly, if you never thought you'd do an escape room, I'd check this place out. I think a lot of it has to do with who you go with too. Pick a couple of people you don't hate collaborating with, and give the place a chance - I was personally very pleasantly surprised, and excited to come back to try all of the other games here.

With 30 minute prep, he turns a room of your house into a unique escape the room event. We had about 10 11/12 year olds each time and it was perfect. Set up is about 30 minutes, break down is roughly the same. I can't recommend it highly enough. A unique and fairly cost efficient birthday option. They are all little individual " panic rooms" very cool! All different themes in each house separated by a corn maze. After all of that you are led into a little village where there is a stage and they do magic performances- along with some food stands and the cutest little trinket store where we got some cool vintagey Knick knacks! I have to say, for an adult this was a lot of fun for our group of 4. There was no " bumping " into other people's groups or little kids ruining the time for us. The lines look kind of long but with social distancing implemented it's really not and you move right along! Not like haunted house ma use to be years ago when it was just chaotic and lines were insane.. The set up was so smooth and easy to follow ensuring you don't miss a thing ! From one attraction to the next just smooth transitions. It was definitely worth the hour ride! The Institute for American Indian Studies Museum & Research Center (IAIS) has an incredible museum exhibit which allows visitors to travel through time - displaying astounding artifacts while presenting information on prehistoric to contemporary Native Americans. They have a parking lot available right in front. To further their educational services, IAIS created "Wigwam Escape" - an escape room to challenge the ordinary museum experience. In continuing to preserve and educate the public about pre-contact natives, "Wigwam Escape" allows you to do so though an interactive, stimulating and captivating experience. We were fortunate enough to meet with the program coordinator and the room designer. The level of creativity that was implemented into the storyline, decor, and the puzzle designs really shows the level of passion IAIS and the staff have for their culture. From the customer service provided when you arrive to the lobby area, the staff is extremely kind and professional. The room itself had a fair amount of technology incorporated but because the storyline is that it happens in the year 1518, it's kept at a minimum. The technology used was cleverly used to keep up with the year 1518 which was quite impressive. The decor provided a realistic, immersive experience. Just a heads up that "Wigwam Escape" has is that some of the puzzle designs require bending down which could be physically challenging for some people but since this does require team work, we are sure you have someone in your group that's up for the challenge! We really recommend checking out IAIS and Wigwam Escape for an entertaining AND educational experience!
