Difficulty: 9/10 This is one of the more challenging courses in the state. Very narrow fairways & challenging greens, with lots of water features and thick brush. Service: 10/10 There we're 2 cart girls when we played who came around frequently. They even provided the number for the cafe to pick up lunch at the turn- loved that!! Members of the pro shop were professional and courteous. Price: $85-110/round. Affordable lunch, drinks, and snacks! Pro Shop: 8/10 Lots to pick from here! They had awesome vest, quarter-zips, hats, and more! I was surprised with the lack of variety: no lefty clubs, very limited women's collection (gloves, shirts, skirts). Overall, we loved the way the logo looked on everything! Pace of Play: 4 hours 30 minutes. I've played at Oxford Greens a few times now. Be prepared for slow play. They have a great starter who lets people out timely and rangers monitoring play. Seems as though things get slowed due to the difficulty of the course, nonetheless playing here is guaranteed to be a blast!

The management is only interested in how much money they can take from the paying public. Rarely is…read morethe restaurant open. No starters or rangers but the drink cart is driving around bright and early. Staff is friendly but not too knowledgeable about the course. This was once one of the best courses with great facilities around but not any more.

It seems they have a food truck too, but I believe it was not operational during the winter. I tried a few options from here, all vegan, 3 different mini burgers for $10 (I don't see this option on their menu any more), sweet potato fries and onion rings. Everything tasted delicious. The eatery is more of a parking garage and it felt really cold during the winter. They have a bar and it's a self service place. There was only one employee taking the orders. Overall, we had a long wait time before we got our food. I will be back to enjoy the food as the weather is getting warm. I highly recommend this place to vegetarians and vegans.

My husband ordered a cosmo from the bar, I just got a bottle of water. It was pretty expensive and the wait time was LONG. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The drink took at least 15 minutes to come out and was literally the smallest drink I've ever seen. The food took even longer, 20-25 minutes after ordering until it came out. We asked for ketchup, but they never brought it back out to us. There are no condiments or napkins available for self service. One bite of the empanadas and we were met with a strong rancid taste. Same with the onion rings. Completely inedible. I'm not sure if the food was bad or the oil had gone rancid but it was unacceptable. Sliders were ok. The hangover slider was disgusting with an egg patty on it that was easily 3-4 times as thick as the burger itself. Like an omelet. Usually when there's an egg on a burger it's a nice sunny side up fresh egg. This was gross, and it was brown. We took that off. The burger still had a funny flavor so we skipped eating the rest of it. The general tso's slider was good but other than that I had an overwhelming feeling like I was going to get sick from this food. We left the food mostly uneaten and left to go somewhere else. I would definitely not go back!

Keep in mind that there is a "Jones Family Farm Pumpkinseed Hill" at 120 Beardsley Rd., and then the "Jones Valley Farm/Jones Winery" at 606 Walnut Tree Rd. My GPS accidentally took me to the Pumpkinseed Farm at first, but it wasn't a big deal because the winery is just a few minutes away. Once I was in the right place, a staff member greeted me and gave me the wine/food menu. They have a lot of different areas to sit, including a patio with tables/umbrellas (where they had live music playing), a pavilion with tables underneath, an upper patio that was covered by a pergola with leaves/vines on top, and an inside bar area with seating. The inside bar area has garage doors that were open, leading out to the upper patio. Even though it was a hot day, I sat under the pergola and it was surprisingly cool underneath! After sitting down, a staff member quickly came over and took my drink/food order. I tried a glass of the Sunshine White, which was delicious! It was on the sweeter side though. Keep in mind that they only sell wine by the glass on the menu, but they do have a store where you can buy bottles to go. I also ordered the Simply Cheese Plate, which came with sharp cheddar cheese, Jones Berry Chutney, and sea salt crackers. This was excellent! They also do have a "Light Fare" menu with things like a hummus plate, cheesecake, popcorn, etc. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They had a "Bouquet Bar" set up where you could buy fresh cut flowers, as well as a small gift shop. Overall a very cool winery in Shelton, I would definitely recommend!

You can check their website for the field locations for picking, call their number for the daily crop report, and make your reservation online. We usually get the large berry box. It is quite large and takes my family of 4 adults a long time to pick, so take that into consideration when deciding what sized basket/box you get. In addition, since the large box can fit so much, be prepared to bake with your fruit or feed many hungry guests!

They complained the menu was very limited and settled for chips and dip, dried fruit and nuts, and a mini pie. She was very knowledgeable in explaining the process, location, and hints of flavors for each one. The outside area is beautiful decorated with a water fall fountain and string lights. A gust a wind blew our glass and it broke in the paper bag. The staff was courteous to replace it. The vibe was grown and everyone was professional. I'd definitely come back.

My nephew ordered nachos w/ hummus dip to share. I came here w/ a whole bunch of my family. The waiter was attentive & very nice! The food came out in a bit (didn't wait too long). It was pretty busy. I wish on the on menu they put the fruits (fruit & nut bowl) were sun-dried. I thought it was fresh fruit. I knew something was up b/c it was only 3 bucks. I would have not got it. The pumpkin cheesecake was ok. The hummus dip & nachos were ok as well. Nothing spectacular. The winery is right next to where you can seat & take in the views. No whipped cream for waffles, the scrambled eggs were cooked in the oven and they turned green, the bacon was woefully undercooked swimming in an inch of grease. The luncheon items were passable, but they had a random taco bar. It almost seemed like this was the first time they had brunch. Their Constant Contact campaign worked, but I would never eat there again unfortunately. Was there for a few dinners and a wedding. The space is very ornate, but the taste level is a little off. They make white stringed lights that would look better on the white painted wood - Christmas Tree Shoppe , $4 a box, or get them or buy on Amazon.
