We made an appointment the day beforehand and came in on a Saturday for a birthday. We trusted the establishment really well, we've done at least three other of the rooms and had amazing experiences! Unfortunately, that cannot be said about this time. When we arrived a few minutes before our time, our room had been given to another group. The staff had not name checked a previous group and gave the room we paid for to them. We conceded and tried a different room out, the room we got had many issues like things getting stuck and the host took a long time to be responsive in such cases. The host also wasn't watching closely and took a while to figure out what we were doing when we did need a hint. Overall, we paid $240 for five people to play a game and we managed to get into a different one but even that one wasn't good for us. We think it's rather unfortunate that the staff didn't name check and gave our room to another team. read more

So, one of the girls got online and looked for one and found the Escape Experience in Chattanooga. It was a BLAST!! It did require for everyone to work together...and, honestly, everyone contributed. I had so much fun but I am so mad!!!! I like to think that I'm pretty intelligent. I love mind games. This totally blew me out of the water. I don't want to reveal too much though. We went here for my friend's birthday. The staff was so cool and fun. I hope we didn't annoy them too much with all of our questions. Anyhoo, we were handcuffed together with 2 other people (strangers). There were 4 of us and we were taken to the jail cell. In case you can't tell, we did the cell block experience. We had exactly 1 hour to escape our prison cell. I'm not telling you anything else!!! No hints from me! I will say this, we did not escape. I love the fact that this teaches you a good lesson, PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS!!!!!! Seriously, the more nosy you can get the better. This was well thought out. Supposedly the inheritance is even better. P.S. we trashed that room and I am so deeply sorry but my adrenaline was pumping! The Experience Just Gets Better At the enthusiastic urging of the Nashville Escape Experience crew, we just had to stop in Chattanooga to try The Bunker. We were not disappointed. In our now 63 rooms, this may be the best room we have ever done. First things first: Location has its own parking, places to sit in lobby with drinks (non-alcoholic) and merch available for purchase. Megan at the front counter was welcoming. The extremely professional production value was immediate. Even the hallways match the rooms so you are transported to the world of the room before you even enter. Then we entered The Bunker. You have (hilariously punny) access badges which must be used to open certain doors and you must find more to get into higher access rooms. This isn't "one" room- it just keeps going. We had to have entered at least six different spaces. Yet despite its massive expanse, Chris and I were able to escape using only three hints and we had six minutes to spare. It's imperative you work in parallel in this room- taking it one thing at a time is recipe for failure. Make no mistake, this room is difficult. Chris and I were in top form and we have done a few rooms. People with less experience will want to bring a few more friends. But, but, but, the puzzle design is FLAWLESS. It's so good. We really can't emphasize how good it is. There are SO many moving parts but the room still manages to remain cohesive with logical flow. There's nothing to climb or crawl through, but the floors are uneven and you have to cover a lot of ground, so consider that if you are physically challenged. This room is family friendly, but there are sirens, some loud noises and blackouts, so be aware of that. Tiniest ding against this place: They are sticklers for keeping rooms open for more bookings. We explained that we were return customers who were in town for the primary purpose of doing this room and they still wouldn't block off the 10:30pm Monday night for us. We had to come back to ensure it was still empty. Of course it was! It was 10:30pm on a Monday! Anyway, our game master Jesse was awesome. Enthusiastic, funny, easy-going and more than willing to do a room walk-through at the end if we had any questions or wanted to see something we may have missed. If we hadn't already done their other rooms in Nashville, we have no doubt we would have had an equally fantastic experience doing the rest of their rooms. Fun side note: Jesse was the first person ever to recognize us as The Escape Couple. So we will always carry a warm and fuzzy for that. Aww, group hugs. Definitely was alot of fun, we didn't end up making it all the way through but we got to the last part of it before our time expired. Hands down the coolest Escape room My fiancé and I have ever been to. We were staying at the Chattanooga Choo Choo for a few days and it was a Wednesday evening and we weren't sure what to do. The Hotel receptionist mentioned that one of the box arts was a new escape room and they recommend it. So we decided to take the plunge and signed up for that evening. My wife and I LOVE escape rooms. She has done over 80 escape rooms and I have done a little over 40. I have always made it out until we did "The Bunker" room at this location! Now, I know what everyone is thinking, "why 5 stars if you didn't make it out?" Well, it was an amazing experience that really challenged us to push our abilities to the test. We always try and not ask for clues, but had to a couple of times in this room. The Gamemaster was extremely helpful and really help set the atmosphere up in the room. Went here and joined a group for Cell Block C - after being handcuffed and led into the cell and left to figure out how to get out- I knew that this experience was going to be fun. The authenticity of everything we saw was Grade 1. we had a great time and it's really mind blowing how intense it feels as you watch the clock and get closer and closer to escaping you heart really gets to pounding as though you're actually locked away. It's really interactive and its cool to see how strangers work together to solve problems without squabbling or arguing because you don't want to waste time. In the end we did escape with 2 mins to spare. It was great. they have 2 choices: Cell block C and The Inheritance. The building: located on the corner with street parking and a small lot . The inside was clean and the staff was really nice and informative. Overall great experience, wanted to go again but didn't get a chance. PS - we trashed that room, dragged items everywhere, turning over everything that we could trying to find clues. What a mind bending game! read more

This was SO much fun! I was really impressed by the quality and sophistication of the experience. There were 5 of us, and we were all engaged for the full hour - working in small groups on different puzzles. It was a challenge, and we were proud to make it out just in time! There was a great variety in the challenges - from simple searching around to map skills to functional notation! And so many cool props including lasers and black lights! The Inheritance. I've done 4 Escape games total around the world and this ranks top. Parking is a lot in the back. We were only two which did make it difficult but having the 3 lifelines was awesome! It was very well planned and you can tell the developers really put some thought into this room. Great Job! So many unexpected twists and turns! Really have to think out of the box at times. the virtual escape experience was not what i expected. it was actually better. the on-site operative fit seamlessly into our group -- patient and diligent -- as we worked to solve the challenge. if yelp had half points i'd dock one because we started much later than anticipated but honestly it was well worth it. my team and i helped our operative escape with only a few minutes remaining on the clock. the online experience was well-considered and made not being there in person inconsequential. tl;dr - in-home group amusement. save your operative. read more
