Very cool experience! This was my first time and I'll definitely be back. The owner was great and explained everything very thoroughly. My husband scheduled an hour and a half session. I was worried that would be too long but it felt like I was in there for 30 minutes! Seemed clean and professional. I was a little worried that it seemed like I was just walking into someone's house but was very comfortable once I got inside. I found this to be an out of body experience and I've never slept more soundly. I don't think I could do longer than an hour, but it truly relaxes you and help you clear your mind. Had my first session today. Was very pleased when I decided last minute to give it a try and Demetrius was able to fit me in for a reservation the same day. He was vert informative, made me feel confident and comfortable. The location had a very tranquil vibe, almost like you were no longer in lubbock. The actual room which contained the float chamber was incredibly clean, organized, had towels, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, tea tree oil body wash and even a blow dryer. The tank itself appeared to be very new, clean, and very inviting. The experience itself is worth giving it a shot, I was able to relax and think about life in a different perspective. This experience for me was just OK... I found the water in the tank to be a bit cold for my liking, although I understand that it's supposed to be the same temperature as your body. Too, I think the pod had a super funky smell... I know this is a sensory deprivation experience but man it smelt weird in there (like dirty not chemical). I also read on the website that after your float session you can sit and enjoy coffee or tea and sit in some sort of garden, but the receptionist did not offer this to me after I got out which was disappointing. I don't think I'd spend $60 on this again. read more

My wife doesn't want to ruffle any feathers but I will. She had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did and it has been hell since. After coming home from this place, she started having an itchy spot on her upper thigh. She didnt think nothing of it at first but that quickly changed. My wife caught a staph infection on her there. We have had to make several trips to the doctor and she has had to be put on antibiotics twice because the first round didn't kill it. This has been horrible for her health because she has diabetes. This was the first time in a while that she got out of the house because of depression. How do these people clean their tank?! I say to you, think before you go here! There may be nothing we can do legally but I will damn sure tell people her experience because this has made her very ill! Amazing experience. Very professional process. I felt safe and taken care of. I have migraines, anxiety, and scoliosis. It was incredible to feel zero pain while floating. I was worried my anxiety would spike while in the tank but it was incredibly relaxing. I noticed that I was very calm but focused for a good week after the float. Better than a massage! great experience this was my first float so i was very nervous but when i got there i was greeted by name and i was delighted to learn that he had even read the "things we should know" not i had left when i made the appointment. he soothed my nerves and was very informative making sure i knew exactly what was going to happen and how to get the most from my experience. the building itself is small resembles a house more than a business but inside is very relaxing. they provide shampoo conditioner soap lotion facial wipes 1 towel 1 washcloth and earplugs so the only thing you really need to bring is a brush. i will most definitely be returning soon! update: after visiting 1 other float center i find i prefer this one for 2 reasons 1: he set it up so that some very calming music that fades after 10 minutes and returns at the end of your session 2: there was a very secure lock on the door and i felt very safe read more

This experience was awe inspiring! From the moment I walked in, I felt peaceful. It was my first float so the owner, Demetrius, walked me through the process and answered every question I had. I did the 90 minute float and I can't put into words how relaxed I was. Took about 20 minutes for me to fully be able to relax, he said bats normal for a first time. Called today to redeem one and found out they expired 1 year from purchase (which was today) and that they wouldn't allow me to use the credits.
