Good variety of rooms and challenges. We went as a group of 9, and split guys and girls into two rooms. Very different and unique rooms.

Escaped in time was a wonderful experience. Matthew was great at showing us everything. Would definitely recommend.

PLAY HERE NOW! I've played over 450 escape rooms and these rooms have a unique wow factor that is almost impossible to find. Over the Rainbow was magnificently executed and a joy to play. You'll experience things that you'll be talking about for days. Good surprises are around every corner in that room. Sweet Dreams is also another creative concept that I've never seen pulled off like that before, it was truly a one of a kind experience that I'd highly recommend. I suggest checking out these rooms! This company was a breath of fresh air among escape rooms and I'd travel from great distances to play any new games they create in the future. read more

We tried 2 rooms here. Bird's Aren't Real & Sweet Dreams. Give this place a try! My husband, 17 year old son and I have done several rooms together and usually do pretty well at even the moderate-difficult ones. We like to do different kinds of rooms while out on vacation and that is what we did here. We did Birds Aren't Real first. It was a pretty cool room, much like some we've done before. We got really really close to finishing it but got hung up on something near the end and took too much time. Lots of technical details to sort through and figure out what is important and not. It was kind of easy to get lost in details and figure out what direction to take at times. It was a well thought out room and left us wanting to try again. We were in town for a few more days and decided on the Sweet Dreams room as our 17 year old son thought an upside down room would be really cool to try. We had recently done an Oz themed one so Sweet Dreams it was. The Sweet Dreams room was a blast. So many things to look at and sort through when you first go into the space.. I enjoyed that we found a couple of clues and unlocked a couple of things right away but there were more intense puzzles to figure out as well... there was lots to do and discover in this room and we had to keep remembering KC's world was upside down which added to the challenge. We kept the pace and were nearing the final minutes and finished just in time. Such a blast! read more

This was our 4th Escape Room at Escaped in Time. They have consistently good puzzles to solve and some really creative architecture and props. The last one we did was "Oz"... the last feature didn't quite work correctly, but we solved the puzzle. While I wish we had been offered a discount on another room, we still had a great time. It's always an unexpected twist! The owners make the best game hosts but they do have some enthusiastic staff, as well. read more

Wow! I have done about 25+ escape rooms and this is definitely in my top 5! We did the oz themed room and within the first ten minutes I was already pleasantly surprised by some of the room features (don't want to spoil it but it's something I have never seen done before). The clues flowed and we had a blast. I will definitely be going back to try another room. read more

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was able to propose to my now fiancé as part of our puzzle. It was masterfully incorporated into the room and it really surprised her! We played Sweet Dreams and had an awesome time with some unique puzzles and surprises that really made the experience one to remember. I'll for sure be back! read more

We've done 2 of the 3 rooms. The upside down room was pretty cool and unique. However or second game wasn't reset properly and a clue wasn't put back into the right place- someone had to keep coming in to reset while we were in the room- it kind of ruined that experience for us. I have played around 100 escape rooms and I only write a review if I find the company amazing, this company is amazing. IF YOU ONLY PLAY ONE ESCAPE ROOM IN COLORADO SPRINGS, PLAY "THE LOST SOUL'' @ ESCAPED IN TIME. To start, the owners offer that extra touch that is slowly disappearing as companies are creating escape rooms for quick profits. They have fun lobby games, a huge, clean bathroom and a few other items that make their business unique. Onto the game.... CLEVER, LOGICAL PUZZLES. This alone should be enough to play a room. Every puzzle made sense and I finally, after so many rooms, encountered a, "Master puzzle". A puzzle that is so clever you find yourself thinking about it for the next couple of days because of its awesomeness. The room is decorated beautifully and the sounds, lights and smells re-enforce the immersion for the scenario. The game is great for beginners and experts alike. I can easily say this room is in my top 10, if not top 5. Bring your friends, at least six people. read more

In Colorado Springs with my daughter for her 19th bday and we decided to try an escape room. My daughter has done multiple rooms, so she was excited to see what they would be like in CO. The first room we did was We're All Mad Here! AMAZING room!!! Although we didn't escape we had a great time! Decided to come Back the next night and do The Lost Soul room. You can tell the owners have paid attention to every detail and want you to have a good time. We were SO close to getting out of the room!!! Loved it! We tried the Lost Soul room today and had the best time! They do a wonderful job of decorating the room to make it a fully-immersive experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My family was visiting Colorado Springs, CO for a week. We decided to do an escape room and picked this place. They had three different rooms. We chose one and reserved our time online. Having done about 40 escape rooms across the country I can say that this place ranks up there in our favorites list. First customer service is on point. We booked a game online but rain cancelled our outdoor plans and not being from the area didn't really have anything to do. We made a call and they moved us up to an earlier time slot. We played the "The Lost Soul" room and it was a great room. Having done so many rooms it's always a worry that the puzzles won't be challenging but they kept us on our toes. I recommend this place to both newcomers and to experienced escapers. You won't be disappointed! read more

We had such a great time! This was my husband and my sixth escape room. This room didn't disappoint. Every escape room we go to offers new puzzles we've never seen before. If you've done an escape room or if you haven't, you will totally enjoy this room. The details are amazing, and hand painted by one of the owners. Give her props when you go because I don't even know how she did it. We did the Mad room, middle of the road on difficulty and there were certainly times where we were just dumbfounded, until we got that clue. =) read more

We took my son here for his 13th birthday and were not disappointed. The owner is very nice and the escape room was well thought out. We did get out in time and after there are signs you can hold and he will take the pic and post on FB for you. He definitely puts his heart and soul into his business! Our family had the best time at Escaped In Time! The owners are the best and have fun creative surprises in the room! They also were so gracious to help us surprise our daughter with her graduation present. They made a creative puzzle to solve after she left the room and when she went to the lobby her truck was barked right out front with a big red bow. It couldn't have gone better! WOW! What an awesome experience! We did the attic room as a family and honestly this experience was SO MICH FUN! Would highly suggest for anyone who thinks they are Sherlock or desires to be. The puzzles and games were very creative. NOT A SCARY EXPERIENCE! However, for kids under the age of 14, this may be difficult for someone to do - at least the room we've done. Having said that most families would find this enjoyable! Strongly recommend. Family owned and they are SUPER NICE! Go support them and be stumped at the same time. read more

My friends and paid a visit to Escaped in Time during a daylong survey of Colorado Springs escape rooms. We tried The Lost Soul, a pirate themed adventure in which we began in the brig of an 18th century frigate. We had 60 minutes to free ourselves and find a treasure on another part of the ship. The set was simple but evocative of the lower decks of a period sailing ship. Tech was minimized to aid the immersion. Puzzles were varied with classic challenges of translation, observation, spatial analysis, and following instructions. The adventure also included some innovative ways of interacting with the space. One of the challenges had us questioning if we were overstepping the bounds of brute force, but once we course corrected it was smooth sailing. Escaped in Time is family owned and operated, and I enjoyed visiting with the owners about their business philosophy. They design rooms that players of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy, and want to see everyone having fun and finding success in the worlds they create. We were surprised to see the various details and technology that goes into making the experience so exciting-and it was super engaging for our whole group, from the youngest 11 yr. old to recently retired senior citizen. :-) We will definitely be back! read more

Our family had such a fantastic experience at Escaped in Time! If you haven't tried an escape room yet, do it! This is a great way for families, friends or coworkers to spend some quality time together - and it never fails to provide lots of laughter and stories afterwards! We had 12 people (4 teens, 8 adults) in our group, so we needed to split up and do two of the rooms. The owners of the escape room were super accommodating, letting us do the rooms at the same time so we could "race" to see who got out faster and even agreeing to open early to adjust to our schedule. (Girls team escaped 'grandmas attic,' beating the boys out of 'we're all mad here', but just barely:) I have been to many other escape rooms and this one had a lot of the elements I like. Nice decor, great storyline, good mix of puzzles and some very clever integrations of technology. Plus, I really like that the owners design the rooms themselves and on are on hand to explain or give hints when needed. We will be back to try out the space themed room! read more

We were first time users of an escape room. The host explained everything in advance, so we had an idea what to do when we were locked in the room. One hour goes by pretty fast when your team is trying to figure out all the clues to escape. We used the optional clues to help us, and we came pretty close, but we didn't get out on time. It was a fun experience and everyone enjoyed it. If you like games and puzzles, I'd recommend Escaped In Time, for a challenging, fun time. read more

Did the "we're all mad here" room with three friends. Half of us have done escape rooms before and the other half were newbies.
