We almost made it out... but even without escaping, it was a blast! We did the Mansion Murder room and had such a good time trying to put the clues together before the buzzer. There were a couple hiccups. Some props weren't working quite right, but the staff came in fast to assist, and everything got back on track quickly. The time clock definitely adds some high-stakes pressure, which just made it more exciting. Located conveniently in the shopping center across from Walmart (plenty of parking), it's easy to get to. Pro tip: Fill out your waiver before you arrive so you can breeze right into the lock demo, hit the restroom, and get mentally prepped. Good luck, you're gonna need it. :) read more

We had family night here on a Saturday. Reservations for 830. We did the antidote room. And we loved it!!! The owner was super sweet and made us feel welcomed. The room we did was somewhat difficult but very interesting and I personally enjoyed trying to solve the clue's. Because im in health care the clues helped me have a better understanding of what to look for in the antidote room. I have done the escape room a few other places and this one was my favorite. Also I definitely am happy to support black business owners in our community!! Loved it and will be back for the newer rooms coming soon!!! read more

I was looking for an escape room near us and found that we had one in McDonough. I booked the room called Mansion Murder and realized it was a tough room rated 9/10 and while we did not escape, we had an amazing time. We were on the last puzzle when time ran out. The owner greeted us when we walked in and showed us to our room (she is awesome) and our "game master" was Abby and she did a great job with the hints we were allowed. Like I said...we got super close to getting out, but just didn't quite make it out within 60 minutes. I highly recommend Escapology in McDonough. We will definitely be back to try other rooms. The price is also fair for the high quality of game provided. Looking forward to returning. read more

Great experience! First time trying an escape room and they were very helpful. Definitely recommend and will be trying again.

Went with a group of 3 this past Friday and had a blast! We are used to having to drive to PTC for a good escape room, but now I am so glad to have Escapology in McDonough. First we did the Mansion Murder theme, then decided to do Under Pressure. Both were super fun and challenging, although Under Pressure was our favorite! We did make it out of both rooms and even enjoyed a fabulous drink from the bar in the back in between themes. We will definitely be back to do the rest of the themes! read more

My wife and I came to Escapology McDonough for one of our date nights recently. I've been to a few escape rooms and wasn't too excited about going to another one, but I enjoyed this one! I would have given a 5 star until we got done. we were accused of losing a few of the pages out of one of the books. I want to first say this was our first experience we have been trying to get to one for about three years and finally got a chance to come today for my daughters bday. we did scooby doo and you talk about clueless to what was going on lol. As I mentioned we had a great experience up until the girls tore the pages out of the one of the clues, clearly it had been done quiet a few times because notes were attached do not remove so I'm thinking people in the past were taking them out way before us but the kids still took the pages out well they didn't tear them they just took them off the clips. Before we left it started raining and the staff was setting up for the next groups the owner said that something's were missing I'm like wait now I know better than that. The kids went to the car and I went back in the room they told me some of the pages were missing. I'm saying who would take pages out of this to keep I mean how would they benefit from it, what's the purpose of taking them. I went to my car and got all 5 kids and told them which i knew they did nothing wrong but I brought them in and told them so they were like that book was already like that which it was but the staff repeatedly said No it wasn't and we set the rooms back up before next group comes in. I'm like okay I know how that book looked and the staff clearly stated we took it. How could I argue it's only a book right. Then I said you know what let me offer to pay. Well they found the pages in a part we didn't make it into so that means that specific part wasn't done before we got there because the group before us escaped. That means part of the clues we were looking for wasn't there because it was left where the last group left them and clearly they tore the pages as well. I teach my kids and nieces honesty and it's all they talked about on the way home. We loved it but they kept saying we was accused of doing something we didn't do. I told them it was a mistake and I'm just glad I stayed around until it was found! The owner did state she was glad I stayed around. Im a pretty honest person so when I'm accused of something I like to get to the bottom of it. Thanks again for the experience!! read more

I did the escape room about a escaped virus- can't remember the name... But it was good! Wasn't too hard and matched the difficulty level that was said to be expected. I would recommend and would for sure go back! My only complaint is that the rooms weren't huge but they weren't too small by any means read more
