While it was great to see some familiar faces, it was even better to meet some new faces. We joined forces as team "Strawberry Scarlett" and never looked back! It was almost as if we knew each for the longest of times and we all had just met tonight. If anyone is looking for team building, I'd definitely recommend this place. You work together as a team and come up with answers to questions that you think you have it all together, news flash, who did y'all poll for some of these answers. Lol. It's all good because Strawberry Scarlett stayed on top till the very end. Yes there is some salt in that statement. It was a fantastic event overall. I am thinking the manager was having a little bit of scare towards the beginning and during team assignments (hence not 5 stars). I get it, it's overwhelming expecting so many people. Hopefully in the end she was able to relax because everything was great. KEKE and Savannah (I hope I have her bae right) made up for some of that experience. They kept us hype during game time Saint Arnold was there along with J. Lohr wines and whithaven for our libations. But let's pause and talk about that Knead Me Bakery lemon scone. I love any and everything lemon and they had it right on spot. We also were served some Chuys, tap the mic, jalapeño dip. Yum. Along with Zalat Pizza. Thank you Ms. Britt. Great idea as always. And you blew it out the park showcasing multiple businesses just a short walk away. You're the best! Job well done for sure.

A big shoutout to Chase who helped guide us through our adventure he was friendly, enthusiastic, and made the experience even better. His energy really set the tone for a great time, and he gave just the right hints to keep us on track without giving anything away. We can't wait to come back again for another room! If you're looking for a fun, immersive experience with great staff, Escape In Time is the place to go.

Escape in Time is a first rate escape room. Their very first escape room was "Sherlock vs. the…read moreIlluminati." Sherlock allows himself to be kidnapped to expose the Illuminati. It's in Spring, Texas which is in the Houston area near Woodland Hills. My husband and I were excited to test it out, and while we usually attempt escape rooms with at least four people, we tried this one with just two. I'm happy to say we escaped with ten minutes to spare, with a little help from our Game Master, Watson. The room has several kinds of puzzles to solve, including Sherlock's favorite--a cypher. As a Sherlock fan, the escape room was a blast, and I would highly recommend it, if you're in the area. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner/designer Dave Garrison and he's a fun character, as well, and so clever with his designs. He gave us a sneak peek of his Harry Potter room, which is never level and very immersive! I'd definitely return to try it out!

We did the Sherlock room and it was really difficult. It didn't help when we got out and was told it was the easiest room lol. All in all it was very fun, creative, thought provoking, etc, etc.. Perhaps it's a bit cheaper because the inside is a bit rough/unfinished. I mean It's not dirty, unsafe, or disgusting - but you can tell that little investment is made to "upscale" things. Staff - the lady working the room ( I believe she's the owner) is super cool. We did the Avengers themed room and succeeded ( and it was not because of my skills). It was a lot of finding clues to open locks. I felt that maybe 80% of it was finding ways to open locks then use what was hidden to do something to move to the next step. Now, let's be honest, if we are the Avengers, I don't think we are going to look for clues to open locks. I sure there are more effective/efficient ways to open them:-). Same goes for a normal person, lock cutters anyone? Overall it was fun and we finished with about 5 minutes remaining. Think we were there for about an hour total.

There's free parking in the garage (upper level), which made things easy. When we walked in, we were greeted right away and got checked in while waiting for our time slot. The waiting area was clean and had some photo opportunity spots. Our game master, Brianna, came over and gave us a quick rundown since it was my first time, which I really appreciated. As soon as we entered the room, I noticed how clean and well-organized everything was. The props were also well taken care of, making this whole experience super immersive. Brianna was really helpful and gave us hints at the right moments whenever we got stuck. There were multiple layers to the puzzles, which made it more exciting and less predictable. It truly kept us engaged the entire time. It ended up being such a great escape room experience for me, and even my friends who have done others said this one stood out. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something fun to do with friends!

It was really frustrating bc the game master was not really helping us so we waisted a lot of time. It was really fun but we left frustrated. Especially for the price you pay. Definitely come here with your quick thinking, murder mystery, detective friends!
