This was an amazing experience. We booked online. We had to arrive 30 minutes prior to our appointment. When we arrived, we checked in and went through the safety brief. Afterwards, we waited a few and then we were strapped up for our adventure. We were shown how to use the clips and how to land at each stop. We did something called ground school where they took you on a short course before you start the real ones. I opted for Go Long! My friend did Go High! We did one course and then the above mentioned courses. She did a free fall at the end of hers and I did the long zip at the end of mine. You can do obstacle courses as well. We had a blast! Now, it was definitely hot. Hydrate, sun screen....all are necessary! You can rent gloves, shoes (you need closed toed shoes), phone cases, and other things! We had so much fun at Geronimo. The staff is so friendly and the overall process from booking, to checking in and ziplining was smooth, organized, and so fun! The equipment is clean and the ground school allows adults and children to learn and practice ziplining before trying on your own. We had fun with the other activities on the course after zip lining. We played corn hole, Gaga ball, ninja obstacle course and more. Well worth the cost for a day of exhilarating fun. We did the Go Fly and Go Long courses and there was plenty of staff along the paths to help and encourage along the way. We ended with the 555 foot dual zip line which was a blast. Overall we would go back. We enjoyed it more than Texas tree ventures because there is more to do on the ground and more than just the aerial park (obstacle course) type of thing. We had a great time! We went on a Sunday with my Mom and another friend. This was to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. We did the Go Fly and the Go Long but skipped the aerial obstacle course. The checkin process was good. You cannot take a phone or anything with you in your pockets. Secured or not. If you want your phone, pay about 10.95 (with tax), to rent a pouch. They do offer a go pro rental for 19.99+tax. It will fit onto your helmet. They will then give you the SD card when you check out. Since this was my Mom and her friends first time, I opted for the phone case. Next time I'll get the go pro. It was difficult to record or take pictures and help the next person get on their feet. It looks like they have a snack shop, but it was closed? Nothing on the website indicates anything about food. They do charge for water, so be prepared for that. Unsure if you can bring a cooler with your own or not. But with how hot it is, they should keep water jugs with paper cups throughout the course and not charge people for water. We hung out in the shade on some hammocks until we ready to gear up. Then, we went and started getting ready. Good process getting geared up. Gets you good and comfortable with your harness. Then, your harness and helmet is checked while you go into a room to watch a how to/safety video. After that, you do a little ground school session, then you're off! On. Your. Own. However, staff members are on the ground watching and guiding you if you have questions or concerns. We ran into a few traffic jams because you can only have 3 people on a platform. Some of the platforms are a telephone pole and a little shaky. 3 people is a lot for those. We weren't in a hurry, so didn't have any issues waiting on others. The final race line was the best! These courses do take body strength (balance, leg and arm strength), so if you're out of shape, you may struggle. Overall, the staff was SUPER! Very nice and didn't mind helping or giving instruction. The grounds are nice with plenty of areas to relax. The bathrooms were nice and very clean. A great souvenir shop. We had a great time! 4 stars because they don't provide free water, don't let you take anything with you (including chapstick) and charge you over $10 to rent a phone pouch. read more

We booked a giant youth conference at Geronimo last weekend with over 200 teenagers and 20+ adult leaders. We had the BEST time! There were so many activities to keep our kids engaged and having fun all day long. The staff at Geronimo were so kind, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful every step of the way. They thought of everything! They made sure our water and snack stations were filled throughout the entire day, they set up canopies for all 12 of our groups to have a "base camp" where they could keep their stuff and/or relax for a bit. They created a detailed rotation schedule so that everyone could participate in everything! They set up 7 fire pits for us in the evening for s'mores and evening group devotionals. The owners, Monica and Charity, were so wonderful, and their large event coordinator, Shawna, was incredibly helpful, quickly responsive, and accessible throughout all the planning and the day itself. The place was clean, well-maintained, and very safe! I highly recommend Geronimo for any large event, or just come with your family!! read more

A little hidden gem in Spring, TX. Had no idea this place existed until I did a little search for fun activities to do in the area. My friend and I had so much fun and really enjoyed our time here. There are 3 different zip lines and different packages you can do. The staff was also super nice and accommodating. We did the two zip lines (that was plenty for us, as we were very worn out by the time we were done with the second). I see some comments about the bathroom situation - just want to reassure everyone they have bathrooms now - pretty nice ones too. With a zip line pass you also get access to the little grounds games and obstacles - if you just want access to the grounds you'll have to pay a small amount. They don't take pictures of you zip lining but they have a phone holster you can rent! They also sell some snacks and drinks as well - however, I don't believe you can take any drinks up with you. Also, our start time was 11:30am, didn't gear up until 12 and didn't begin the courses until like 12:20pm. So prepare for that extra time needed! read more

We came for spring break just me and my 7 almost 8 year old. We had a great time and we ended with the free fall. Definitely recommend this place. We felt safe and had a good time. What an amazing experience. Family owned and operated. The stories and personal touch made it an amazing experience.

An old lady, her daughter and 11yo grandson did the 3 zip courses. it was fun and a wonderful experience. All the young people working there were patient, kind and very helpful. We always were safe and comfortable doing all the zips. The bridges were very challenging and required some focus and concentration. We rented the phone holder but didn't use the camera a lot. we got the GoPro and each of us wore it on a different course so our group of three were in the vide. When we got home we put the SD card in the computer and we were impressed how clear it was and really showed the zips and bridges clearly. We enjoyed watching it. I would suggest the GoPro for any zipping. They also have complimentary tetherball, ladder golf, corn hole, a balance table and an obstacle course to keep you busy. The price is certainly worth all the fun. read more

We had a horrible experience. Our zipline was interrupted twice by people who did not want to continue the course, and they had to be physically brought down. The staff was ill-prepared for this and as a result, we waited on two different platforms for a total of an hour. The facility had no exit strategies for those in this situation and therefore, those having to wait, waited in 90-degree weather. The staff kept telling us that they were handling it, but the time it took to retrieve the 2 participants was unacceptable. I will never go to this facility again. read more

They are building still the park, so there is a lot of construction, NO bathrooms- 2 portable ones for the construction same ones used to customers. NO running water! With family and children in an outside activity this park need to open when they have bathroom and water- then the experience will be enjoyable. The staff is very friendly, capable and fun and the activity safe - yet pricey for what it is. I am sure that as soon the park is completed the underground activities could be also more enjoyable - then make sense to charge $. read more

We had a great work event at Geronimo! As someone who had done a bit of ziplining and rappelling, I was skeptical at first (especially because it was all adults) but it was great and had a ton of activities! The self guided zip line tours had a bunch of short runs, nothing was really challenging but there was a good amount of lines and features. My favorite was the surprise ending of the Go High route (I won't spoil it)! After ziplining we had a lot of fun throwing ninja stars and axes over some adult beverages, plus there were a variety of yard games to choose from available to us. People were also big fans of being able to get soft pretzels. Overall a great time for adults and would also recommend for families! read more

Took my daughter and some of her friends her to celebrate her 10th birthday with a little adventure outdoors. They had a blast. They spent all their time doing rock climbing and ziplining. I canr wait to watch the videos from the go pro cameras. I was glad that there was seating and a lot of trees to keep us in cool in thus Texas heat. We did purchase drinks from the park to keep us hydrated. But next time we go, we will bring our own cooler with drinks. We spent about 4 hrs at the park. We could have stayed longer but we left to go eat. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They wrre very detailed in the training for the zipline and were providing tips along the way. read more

This place is a must see. We were in Houston for a Jujitsu tournament and decided to take the 35-minute drive out to Spring TX to check Geronimo Adventure Park out. We were NOT disappointed! We did a couple of zip lines. Good speed on the lines and variety of bridges along the way. The last line was named "Go High" I believe. It ends with a 40' vertical drop. Once off the lines we stuck around and competed on a Ninja course. Check out the tips for the obstacles on the Chaulk board. They also have the best times to beat listed on the board. The grounds also have Teather ball, corn hole, a rock-climbing wall and the ability to wonder the grounds along with some snacks available for purchase. We finished the night off by purchasing additional tickets for the AXE/Knife/Star throwing! Good, quick instructions here had us throwing in no time. My son is 11 and he had zero issues navigating the fun on his own. If you choose not to participate you can still enjoy the grounds for a fee. (maybe even shoot some videos from the ground as the others zip above you?) Be prepared to not trust the GPS to get to the park. We were sent to the residential street behind the park. When you get a couple miles out, you can search for U-haul on maps and the park is on the same street at the end of the road. Good parking, safe area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We had the absolute BEST DAY EVER at Geronimo Adventure Park this week. If you haven't gone yet to experience this absolute gift to the Houston area, put this on your bucket list and get over there! My only regret is not taking more pics, but that's ok because we'll be back again as soon as possible. We were there for hours and still didn't do everything! So many fabulous activities for everyone in the family. Our favorites: the ninja course, axe throwing, the zip line courses , and the aerial course in the trees I love that when you're at this forest oasis in the city we get to leave all our stresses behind and totally unplug from technology and reconnect with the joy of ADVENTURE and togetherness in such a fun and beautiful environment. The staff were a pure delight. I wanted to grab some of those adorable young adults and bring them home with us! I love that we were encouraged but not pressured to challlenge ourselves to get out of our comfort zones. I swear I was able to visibly see my kids confidence grow over the course of just a few hours. It was a beautiful thing to behold. Nature + some gentle nudges towards taking a leap of faith = magic!! Such a fun place for a girls or guys night out, for family time, date night and more. This is officially one of my tip top favorite places in the Houston area. I want to shout it from the rooftops that Geronimo Adventure Park @geronimoadventurepark is the most incredible place for EVERYONE to be welcomed, treated like family and have the most amazing adventure! As part of our 2 day FSY (church camp) for youth with special needs, we were GIFTED the most incredible afternoon by these amazing people! All of our participants with a wide range of abilities, all of their youth counselors, and some of their parents had the amazing experience on their zip lining and bridge course and then a friendly axe throwing competition all for FREE! Geronimo also has a ton more fun things to do as well at their amazing facility. But their biggest asset is their incredible staff! There must have been over a dozen staff members there helping us make this adventure work and be as safe and seamless as possible. Rumor has it they spent hours the day before going thru scenarios and figuring out the best process for ALL of our friends to have an amazing time including our good friend who uses a wheelchair. And when our adventure took an hour and a half longer then we had scheduled, all the staff was more then happy to stay way past their scheduled time to make sure everyone got to participate and have an absolute blast! Every single staff member was patient and kind, allowing each participant to go at their own pace. And they joined the youth counselors and parents as we cheered and celebrated each kids triumphs over fear. We all had SO much fun and those shady woods have probably never seen so much love and support by everyone involved! read more

My husband and college age kids went on a blustery cold day in December. They had the park to themselves. They bought the full access so they could do everything and with the coupon from The Impact, although still expensive, made it more justifiable for a special afternoon of fun. They had a blast! I'm glad they paid extra for one of them to have the go pro camera because it was spectacular to see all of the amazing views and rides across the lines! The staff was there (as evidenced on the go pro) to aid where needed. A great (maybe one time bc of cost) treat for the tween teen crowd for sure. read more
