Looking for an executive par 3 golf course in the North County then look no more as Reidy Creek can fit the bill if you are looking for a challenge sub 200 yards. For what its worth, this course is decent if you are looking to get out and play. The greens and fairways were mainly kept in ok condition, playable but not pristine. Bunkers had tons of weeds and over growth and the sand was not so sandy, hard packed so a little difficult to pop the ball out if you find yourself in one. Some of the holes can get narrow but it presents a good challenge to see if you can thread that needle. As for the putting, it was difficult to get that ball in the hole as they run slow so you need to be precise with your speed. For the price with cart it wasn't too bad. Now there are many other courses but for ease of booking and getting out to play, Reidy Creek might be the answer. read more

We really love this golf course! It's a challenging par 3 with many hazards, but a lot of fun. You can actually use your driver on a couple of holes. During the week there is no problem getting a tee time. Our long game has really improved since we started playing this course. And, the hot dogs are good! We go when we can! read more

The tee boxes, sand traps, greens, fairways- all of it. When booking tee times at most courses, there are usually warnings/alerts of poor conditions prior to booking a tee-time. Found these people from a get out pass and called to schedule a tee time and the people were so confused which is whatever but when the employee went to ask his manager about it I could here him being so rude about it. I said I don't know I just bought this pass and gave him the website for it. I was on the phone but I could hear the manager in the background I didn't sign up for that. That must have been the old owner. I could hear the employee stumble as he thought in his head how to actually speak to a customer. Didn't offer any other sort of business like you should still sign up and play anyways just basically I didn't do that and hung up. The situation is whatever but how you handle it says more about your business. Maybe we still would have came to play without the coupon. This "sniffs in" at about 3.5 stars or 3.75 stars with current conditions. This is our 3rd or 4th time playing it and we are still fans, but with a few changes it would be a true gem. Maybe it is a budget issue, maybe it is not, but I will get into it. As we get younger courses this size get a lot sexier. There are lots of squirrels, rabbits and ducks of different types on the course. There are large turtles sunbathing on rock on the ponds. The STAFF are very nice and helpful. The CARTS look brand new in a nice olive or sage green shade. There is no navi but the seats are comfortable at least. The course LAYOUT is diverse and mostly interesting here which is the true plus of an executive course There are very nice, wooded areas and the course is great to look at overall, especially during the green rainy season. On the front 9 the water hole with bridges and turtles is a visual signature hole. The GREENS are likely the worst part of the course, especially if you enjoy putting. They appear patchy and/or diseased in many spots on pretty much all greens. As a result, they are a bit slow for SoCal standards. The ROUGH is unruly with diverse mixed grasses growing a bit wild. The course is fairly green considering we did not see a lot of rain this year. The FAIRWAYS are mostly decent, some better than others. If the condition were better this would be a gem always worth the drive from South County. But based on current conditions it is more of a coin toss. It's a fun play regardless but could definitely use some groundskeeping work. read more

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY ANYMORE We've played Reidy Creek before and enjoyed it specifically because it felt like a relaxed, family-friendly par-3 course. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. Today, I was told my daughter who is under 5 is not allowed to even ride in the golf cart with me, not playing, not swinging clubs, just sitting with a parent. This was surprising given that she has ridden here before multiple times over the last two years, and there is no posted age policy anywhere on the website or at the course explaining this restriction. I understand safety and liability concerns, but the lack of clear communication and zero flexibility made it clear this course is no longer welcoming to families with young kids. No alternatives were offered, and the interaction felt more about enforcement than customer service. Some of my favorite childhood memories were simply riding along with my dad while he played, not the golf itself, but the time together. That's the kind of experience I was hoping to share with my own child like we've done here before. Policies like this, especially when they aren't clearly communicated, make that impossible. It's sad that a course that once felt welcoming no longer accommodates families trying to create those kinds of memories. I hope management reconsiders how this policy is communicated and whether there's room for safe, supervised exceptions, because this course used to be a place where families could share the game together. read more

Course conditions and overall staff attitude have improved, but pace of play is still a major problem. During my most recent round there was no marshal at all, and slow groups were allowed to gum up the course with no opportunity to play through, turning what should be a quick solo round into a three-hour experience. I've also been rushed to finish in the past despite having plenty of daylight left, and some of the older clubhouse staff can come across as grumpy/unwelcoming. Better pace management and more consistent customer service would greatly improve the experience. read more

Shittiest golf course I played in my life, the greens are horrible myself and my friend group couldn't even putt since the green is half dirt and mud ,half the course is dirt the grass is just weeds lost couple balls because of gofer holes it's all muddy and when you go to the tee box there's not even a tee box apart from that you hit the ball and it's all muddy so around the green and on the green the divot like 2 feet deep and can barely pluck it out take your $45 elsewhere waste of money. read more

I played there yesterday and for over $40 it's a mess. They told me it had been punched so I have no complaint about that. However, the tee boxes hadn't been moved for days and they were a shamble and the sand had grass growing and was rock hard. Played this morning with a buddy of mine. Greens - spongy/mushy which means slow. Nothing was breaking either. All 18 greens were consistent. Did not visit a sand trap so no eval. All of the greens had some brown spots bit the pin placement was on a true green surface. I would describe it as playable. Good test foe your short game with longer par 3s on the back. Golf course is in terrible shape. Tee box look like the rough. Greens have holes filled with sand. Hole locations haven't been moved and the hole is growing over the opening. Insane to charge $50 a round for that type of condition. Nothings been touched in a long time and you can tell they don't care about their facility. read more

This review is for the DISC GOLF course. A thoroughly enjoyable trip. I had to get a practice round in for an upcoming tournament...making the trek from West L.A. to Escondido - man, am I glad I did. Reidy paid loads of attention to detail in their overall design and landscaping elements, with the course wickedly winding its way through surrounding neighborhoods...every new hole presented varied "course management" challenges, thanks in part to the slightly diabolical OB restrictions: all cart path borders and beyond, all greens and all bunkers. And, man, them bunkers are everywhere...many standing in "guardian" positions near the baskets. Reidy's DG course design features mighty technical -300' uphill par 3s, sweeping 600'+ downhill shots, 400'+ par 3s, 530'+ par 4s, steep sloping basket placements, and thick 'n nasty fairway borders consisting of some of the most punishing "rough" you'll encounter in SoCal disc golf. Some will rent the golf cart but I walked it. Tee off was @ 2:45PM. After wrapping up the front 9, I was actually considering getting 2 rounds in. WE PLAN, GOLF LAUGHS. My FitBit Tracker logged the following data: 68 Floors / 5.87 mi. / 3,600 calories burned / 12,877 steps. Factoring in 95 degree temps and hot Santa Anas, it was an exhausting joint. By the time I wrapped up, it was 5:07PM. 2 hours and 22 minutes. And I was playing by myself - at my own pace (which is stupid fast - my friends often yell at me to slow down when walking fairways and to next tees...). So, imagining this round with 4 on the card, the sometimes hard-to-find discs following errant drives and the walking distance alone, you're looking at 3 hours. COVID practices fully enforced in the Pro Shop and surrounding areas. Mask-wearing is at players' discretion once on the course. I was relatively a lone wolf on the course and rode it out mask-free with zero issues. Rental discs are available and a decent selection of Innova products are displayed for purchase. Weekday DG fee was $10 handled through their website. Overall, an A+ rating for this really fun disc golf course. read more

Had an amazing time until the end of our golf rounds, a bald worker made us rush our 18th hole because we were "taking too long" and then he tried to talk down on us and instigate a fight so the new people about to play can use the golf cart we were using. Wouldn't recommend this golf course unless you feel like getting bullied. 5 star for the course as a beginner, 0 star for the staff, except for Mike, Mike was excellent. read more

As disc golfers, we really enjoyed this course. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating of all our questions. Sometimes, at ball golf courses that also offer disc golf, you get the vibe you're not as welcome. That was not the case at Reidy. Everyone was awesome and there were more disc golfers around than I expected. The signs and tees are marked well, course is kept up pretty nicely. Plus, a BIG plus actually, RC is good-dog friendly! We brought the pups and had a fantastic day. No offense to you ball golfers, but the only downfall is the pace of play, something I can't really knock a star off Reidy's rating for, just more or less something to note. Patience is the name of the game here LOL. 3-4 hour round. read more

First off, I want to start by saying that the moment me and my party of three walked in, a guy, who I think was the owner, was eyeing us down while we were checking in. Secondly, they didn't want to give us two golf carts, and since we just wanted to play, one of us had to walk the whole time. After we strapped our clubs onto the cart and were waiting, they told us to wait until our tee time even though they had just let us check in a little early. The same guy who was eyeing us earlier kept staring and asked if we knew what we were doing. the walk thru the golf course is lovely...lots of trees and ponds. Sadly, the bunkers of full of weeds and water. Bunker sand was rock hard, greens are very patchy and not is good shape and the price to play 18 on a weekday was $31! I would pay $20 to play there, but will never play there again for $31. Maybe its great for young kids or families out for a golf round. Since JC dropped the course, it has gone downhill. BIg waste of money. Not sure how it stays in business. read more

I really like this little executive course. Try to play here at least once a month, but it's a bit of a haul to get to for me and wish I could get here more. It's cheap to play and relatively decently maintained for the price. The greens are...well, not the greatest so to speak. There's one hole, think it's hole #4, where the green was just plain horrible, but other than that the rest of the course is great for the price you pay to play. Small course so it's easily walkable, but large enough where a cart is nice too. I've done both and prefer to walk if I have the time. I usually get a cart when I'm trying to squeeze in as many holes before the sun goes down, which is more often than not this time of the year and renting a cart is pretty cheap. Staff is super friendly and it's an easy going atmosphere. Never gotten any food and not even sure if they have anything more than snacks. Small little shop with a few things you can purchase if needed. I'm sure they offer classes/training, but never looked into it. Don't think they have a range, but have a putting/chipping practice green. I had a good time every time I've played here! read more

Great executive course. It's fun but challenging which is what you want in a par 3 course. It's well maintained and the staff is great. They have plenty to choose from their bar with a bunch of craft beers plus a small selection for cocktails. I believe they are starting to add more food options but their breakfast sandwich always hits the spot. It's my go to executive course not only because it's close but it's always a guaranteed good time. read more

This course is a good value. I love the creek and set up. If you like executive courses, try this one!! They're introducing foot golf and disc golf and am not sure how that will affect golf play. The sand traps had weeds, not sand. Not sure why the rough was extra tough. There is a small snack bar. Only restroom is at 1/9/18 turn-the pro shop. Also lacking water and par-aides.
