Wonderful dining experience with delicious food and fast and friendly service I ordered the coliflor taco - delicious and the Mexican tao also amazing. The staff was very attentive and service was great. I reserved online and it was easy to do

I'm a fan of Mexican food when it is done right. This is where Escondite comes in. A friend suggested we try it out. Immediately walking in, you're surrounded by beautiful decorations. You really feel like you're in Mexico having an authentic meal. Staff greeted us at the door. They're such nice folks and very polite. The waiters are quick, courteous and, well, do their jobs very well. They're always available for questions and even offer their own suggestions from the menu. Overall, the dishes we ordered were delicious and fresh. The portions may not have been that large but you'll feel full having an entree with your meal. The prices are unbelievable too. Our tortillas (2 per dish) were 9$ each, with two drinks and an appetizer for only 40$. How can you go wrong with that! I highly recommend this place and thank them for giving us a pleasant evening!

The sign outside is inconspicuous. The decor inside is trendy-boho-retro. The dishes described in the menu are creative, not your standard cheap Mexican fare choking on cumin and melted cheese. We were warned that the portions were small, which was in line with the prices being on the low side, so we ordered several dishes. Overall, everything was very sweet. The corn muffin was cloyingly sweet, in fact. The mango salad was near 100% mango, with a tangy sauce, so again very sweet. The chicken tacos were light on chicken and the corn bread croutons added sweetness to that dish as well. The ribs were good but for the price, around $15, the portion was disappointingly small. There wasn't much cherry flavor that I could detect, I personally would not order again. It was very delicious, fresh and original, especially the mango salad. Just remember to balance the sweet dishes with something not sweet at all. Finally an interesting Mexican restaurant in the West Island, try it!

4 very very thin piece of quesadilla with almost nothing inside for 16$! And also super salty!

Extremely not worthy! Extremely expensive for what you get! 4 Super thin pieces of quesadilla with almost nothing inside for 16$! And very small portion of ribs for 18$. Its also super salty & not tasty. This is a joke!

An unexpected twist! This Mexican is tastefully presented, extremely flavorful, and served with a smile.

The food will be brought to you. At the side, there's a small salsa if you'd like additional condiments. We tried a plate of tacos and enchiladas. Incredible flavours! No wonder they have rolls of paper towels at each table. You'll need them! I can't wait to go back!

However, we were surprised to find that the service was more like a food court setup: you place your order and pay at the cashier, then go sit and wait for them to bring the food to your table while calling out your name. We ordered the carnitas quesadilla, birria tacos with cheese, and two margaritas. The total came to $76, which felt very overpricedespecially for Mexican food. The margaritas tasted overly sweet and artificial, far from a proper margarita. On a positive note, the ambiance and décor are definitely unique and fun, and the food itself was tasty. But for that price point, it just didn't feel worth it. Our meals came with chips on the side, and unfortunately, they tasted stale. Overall, while the place has a cool vibe and good food, the pricing and drink quality left us disappointed.

I've been one of Three Amigos' biggest fans for over 15 years !!! we even celebrated high school…read morebirthdays here !!!! and I've visited every location countless times. The Brossard spot has always been my favourite, and I've been to the West Island location over 10 times. Unfortunately, my most recent visit there was disappointing enough that I don't think I'll be returning. I stopped by for a quick lunch with my family, and as always, I ordered one of my go-tos: either the enchiladas or the taco bowl in that big, crunchy shell packed with beans, sauce, and fresh toppings. But this time, when my order arrived, I immediately noticed three to four pieces of blonde hair on the food visible as the waitress (Gigi) placed it down. I'm not someone who returns food, but I tried several times to flag her or the man managing the front. He looked directly at me but ignored me, so I eventually walked my plate over and politely asked for a fresh one. Instead of simply replacing the meal and apologizing, the situation was handled poorly. Gigi brought the same salad back to the table with the hair still on it, insisting it "wasn't hers" and must have "flown from the ground." I never accused anyone of anything I just pointed out that the hair wasn't mine (I'm a brunette with my hair tied up) and asked for a replacement. Rather than resolving the issue, she became defensive and rude, telling me I was impolite. It was an extremely uncomfortable exchange one I've never experienced in years of reviewing restaurants and it completely ruined the meal. I ended up refusing the dish and asking for it to be removed from the bill. Gigi returned with her head down, avoided eye contact, and said nothing further. Combined with the fact that our other dishes were not up to par -- the steak fajitas weren't sliced, my boyfriend had to cut them himself, and my brother's "bowl" was just a plate of plain components thrown together -- the entire experience left a sour taste. This location has always been a go-to for me, but after this visit, I can't say I'll be back. It felt overpriced, poorly handled, and far from the warm experience I've come to expect from Three Amigos. It's disappointing to write this after so many great meals over the years, but this visit was truly unacceptable.

Our table of five was seated right away with thought given to having room for a walker. Among the meals ordered were the chicken and beef fajitas. Both were great but the beef was a tad chewier than expected. Otherwise, it was all really good and the waiter was really kind. We noticed their pink 3 Amigo shirts and commented on how great it is that they wear them throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness. I wish they would sell them and have a portion of the proceeds go to the cancer society. Overall, another great meal!
