Michelle knows the market really well - she has a great pulse for what is going on, what each of the sub-neighborhoods are like, other lake/Association issues that might effect purchasing and selling, etc. Another great thing about Michelle as a buyer's agent is that she doesn't rush you into a home just so she can get a commission - I love how Michelle will point out negatives in a home that I might not notice (like deferred maintenance, water damage, etc. that I would not have noticed) because she truly is looking out for you and not just trying to quickly close a deal. Michelle truly cares about finding you the best home and will even wait months & months (or even years like she did with us!) and never complain about touring tons of homes with you until you find what is the best fit and checks all of your boxes. Michelle makes it her mission to find her clients their perfect home - and never settle! So here's the thing: I have an intense attention to detail PLUS I've had a real estate license for two-decades, so I have way high expectations when selecting a real estate agent to represent me and Michelle has exceeded all of my incredibly high expectations! I really appreciated how Michelle would photograph or video a home for me if one came on the market while I was out of town and couldn't make it up to Lake Arrowhead to view it - that is just one example of how caring she is! I did a lot of online research and sleuthing, a lot of the other agents in L/A seemed 'typical & vanilla', what I liked about Michelle was the way she put herself out there online, and appeared to have an excellent working knowledge of the area. The day she was moving in, she came to my front door extremely rude, intimidating and very aggressively over parking. My partner and I were very stunned by the way she was speaking to me. We were very confused as to why a new neighbor would speak so rudely to someone she didn't know. Well, we later found out that Leia is a Reaction Realty employee and a relative. Her parents own Reaction Realty, and they own the property where I lived. Before she moved next door to me, I had lived there very happily and peacefully for 20 years without any issues, but the minute she moved next door, my life turned into a nightmare. It turned into a "very toxic and trashy environment". Every time I used to see her, she was very unfriendly, impolite and rude to the point that I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe around her. When I called Reaction Realty to bring up the parking issue, and how offensive she was to me. Sandra, her mom stated, "You cannot park there anymore because the new tenant needs the space to park and charge her car". Oh! And she's paying extra for parking. Do you really think that Sandra was going to charge her daughter to park there? I don't think so! My 20-year parking privileges were taken away just like that because Leia kept claiming that I was blocking her car, (There is enough space to park 3 cars there) Well, two months after I had mentioned this, Reaction Realty kicked me out of my apartment. There were trash bags with dog poop on her porch every day. I guess she was too lazy to walk to the trash cans, which were close by. Well, I had to walk past her porch to get to my car, so I had to see the trash every day, and that made me feel extremely uncomfortable also. I don't think "client relations" is one of Leia's strong skills because her first and ongoing interactions with me were extremely "self-entitled", unfriendly, very impolite and rude. Because of the negative experience that I was having with her I didn't want to go out of the apartment. I felt trapped in my own house. I was so stressed out and afraid that I sought legal counsel who advised me that I should file a formal complaint with the San Bernardino Court because they felt that this woman was harassing me, which I did, but after I thought about it, I decided to not to go through with it because I didn't want them retaliating against me or throw me out of my apartment. Well, they kicked me out anyway. They didn't care that I was loyal tenant, and that I had already lived there for 20yrs, and by the way, I am a senior citizen.
