After engaging in the dance of preliminary negotiation, I decided to visit the dealership to see it in person. Happily, the car looked just like it did in the video and pictures. I wanted to take the car to an independent mechanic for an inspection, but was informed the dealership did not permit that, which was disappointing. I decided to go for it anyway. Chaseton assured me that if anything was found to be awry after my purchase they "will address them then." I test drove it and then made the purchase. The sales process was one of the least painful car dealership experiences I've had. I felt no pushiness, and no underhandedness. There was no constant rotating cast of characters trying to convince me of one thing or another and trick me into parting with more and more of my money by trying to wear me down over time. I felt comfortable with their processes, the offerings, and the final numbers, including ultimately choosing financing through them instead of the financing I came there with. Chaseton was especially a joy to work with. Having experience with sales, I understand his role is to seal the deal. As a prepared salesperson, he had responses ready for all of my inquiries and requests. As a human, he was warm, personable, patient, and calm. I appreciate these qualities, especially in sales transactions. His team members were just as a likeable. Five stars for Chaseton. My husband and I had been talking with this dealership for days for a car we were wanting to purchase for our growing family. We worked out a deal and had it finalized and sent to us in writing. We went to the bank last night and got a cashiers check to purchase the car in full. They made us an appointment to pick up the car today at 5 pm and everything was finalized waiting as soon as we finished work to get there. They even texted us around noon today asking us if "we were excited to get our new car today and that they would have it ready with gas and washed for our arrival." We were heading there straight from work and driving an hour and half to get there, he even texted us safe travels. One hour after they texted us asking how excited we were, they called saying they are potentially selling it to someone else instead and booked them a same day appointment conveniently an hour before we were able to head there. While I understand the policy is that a car cannot be held, they had no problem texting us as if it was a done deal giving us false hope and telling us the car was ready for us. They knew we had already pulled out all of the money and made arrangements with work and childcare to get there as soon as we possibly could. They should've never texted us asking if we were excited to pick up our car just for them to conveniently sell it to somebody else right before our arranged pick up time, not even giving us a chance to get there and honor the deal that we all agreed to. Common decency and respect goes a long way and we feel as though they used us to get a better deal for themselves and leverage the person to get there right before us knowing when we would be on our way. The whole thing is incredibly disappointing and not the right thing to do to a family. People deserve to be treated better and deals deserve to be honored without false hope and texts asking us if we're excited, knowing they were just going to sell it before we can get there with no decency or remorse and just state a "no hold" policy

They matched a coupon that another local Toyota dealer had sent me, and that was much appreciated. Overall the service took a bit longer than I expected but I suppose that had to do with resetting the computer for the recall. I'd recomend the dealership. They are expanding/ improving the customer wait area, which was way over due. They have a quiet office setup if you want to get some work done. Hopefully they make more improvenments to make it more comfortable for customers who have to wait. The best dealerships these days are going all out to make extended waits comfortable.

Terrible Experience -- Toyota of Easley I would strongly…read morerecommend avoiding Toyota of Easley based on my experience. My vehicle was there three separate times over a two-month period for the same recurring diagnostic codes, and the problem was repeatedly misdiagnosed. On July 14, I brought my vehicle in for the first time. I was told the issue was the low-pressure fuel pump, even though that pump had already been replaced in 2024 when the vehicle had only 28,000 miles. I paid approximately $500 to have it replaced again. I had some hesitation about the diagnosis, but I trusted that the dealership's technicians knew what they were doing. On July 19, the same codes returned. I had to have my vehicle towed from Charlotte, NC, to Easley, SC. I was eventually told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and was asked to pick it up. Then, on July 30, the exact same codes appeared again. We brought the vehicle back for the third time. I had to get a rental vehicle because I was told it could take a few days. Instead, my vehicle was there for three weeks. During the first week, I was told the problem was the brand-new fuel pump they had just installed. That made absolutely no sense--the pump had just been replaced by them. During the second week, communication was extremely limited. We ultimately had to contact Toyota Engagement, who contacted the dealership and gave them 24 hours to respond. Only then were we told that one of their technicians had "finally" been able to duplicate the codes while driving the vehicle. In the third week, they brought in a Toyota specialist, who ultimately discovered the actual problem: a cap tab in the fuel filter. So, after all of this, I was left paying for: A fuel pump that wasn't the problem Three weeks of a rental car Additional work to remove the part that was actually causing the issue Multiple trips and a tow from Charlotte to Easley This entire experience was incredibly frustrating, expensive, and time-consuming. I feel that there were significant failures in diagnosis, communication, and management, particularly involving Ed Troutman. I trusted Toyota of Easley to properly diagnose and repair my vehicle, and instead I spent a significant amount of money fixing a problem that wasn't actually the problem. If you value your hard-earned money, your time, and honest, competent service, I would seriously reconsider doing business with Toyota of Easley.

My whole goal was to lower my monthly payment, lower my car insurance and lower my personal property tax. I was forthcoming and provided numbers of where I was at. Cole had my vehicle valued and gave me some good numbers which I felt were fair. We initially looked at two vehicles which met our budget and goal. But I saw a bright ruby red car that really caught my eye. Cole said it was a bit out of our price range but he would talk to his manager while we test drove it. When we got back to the dealership, Cole had all the information ready and where we were in the range of the three criteria.
