I try to live my life by the golden rule and if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. But I'm on my last straw with this guy, he is cold hearted and rude, with absolutely no people skills. Today he beat me out of $7.00. Nobody has touched my car in the last year except for a couple of rear tires. After he was finished with the smog check he tells me he couldn't pass the car because the OBD plug was out of its bracket. I'm like, really? The only person that has ever touched the OBD plug in the last year was you. No response other than "I can't pass it, you owe me $7.00. I Reached down and put the plug back in its bracket and told him to go ahead now, he said no can do. I said, if I drive away and come back in a half an hour could you smog it then? He said yes! I said that doesn't even make sense. Took my $7.00 and commenced helping the next person in line. I've given this guy my business for the last 4 years, he just lost it in one bad move. read more

We were there for our annual smog. This is the first time we were there because it is close to our new home. The elderly man who works there is a very grumpy person. He motioned us to drive up, and not a "hi" or even look at our face; and motioned us to move away from the car after we got out, like he was a cop. After doing the check, he said $25. I thought it passed, but when I looked at the paper, I said "it did not pass?" He raised his voice and said very loudly, "that's what it says". He was so mean! I paid the $25, and later found out after reading over the receipt that I am not supposed to pay the full $25 if it fails, but apparently he took full payment. It's too much of a hassle to drive back to argue with him, so I did not, but I will never go there again. I feel cheated and disrepsected by this guy. read more

The smog check guy failed my car saying the OBD connector is loosen. He wanted me to take it to garage to have it fixed. I pulled aside in the parking lot and wiggle it back in back but he refused to pass my smog test unless I pay again for a new test. read more

The technician was ok. Car checked out. Why a 2 star? They advertise a coupon to print. The coupon says $5 off a $29 test. The technician tells me the website and it's actually $32, with $5 off. When I told him the website AND THE COUPON says $29 / $24, he says i'm only the technician. Classic case of false advertising? The issue is you're there already and don;t want to go find a different place. read more

Guy behind the counter was very dismissive. I was ready to give him all of my car's info and he did not speak to me once until the very end when he announced my total. Told me that I failed because my car has been "tampered with" which was very much not the case. Got it checked to make sure and you'll never believe, he was wrong! Just moved to NV and before I can register my car, I needed to get it smog. This location is so close to my house so called to confirm the time they close. Dawn picked up the phone and was super nice and helpful. I arrived 10mins before 5pm. She worked all around me without making me leave my car. She also shared what and when to get the smog done next year as one is needed for each vehicle each year, which is different in CA. She was nice and helpful and still got me on my way within 10mins with my printed confirmation. I will definitely recommend this location, especially Dawn, and will be coming back next year to get my smog check done with her. read more

Just moved to Nevada from out of state, and preparing to register our cars here. Found out that we have to do a smog check, so I looked on Yelp for a nearby SMOG check station, but also looking for one with good ratings. Found this eSmog station fairly nearby, with very good ratings, so off we went! Pulled up, 3 cars of us, and the lady here was very, very nice, and extremely helpful. She explained what she needs to do, and any issues that might occur, and what our next process is to register or vehicles in Nevada. Looks like we will be coming here every year from now on! I've gone to this guy 42 years, only because of coupons. His social skills are lacking to see the least. And he upset me big time today, and I will never come back. My vehicle was not ready so therefore I didn't reject status. I bought a scanner tool to see if my 02 sensors were ready. The scanner tool said everything was ready, so I pull up to the smog station. I wanted to show him this to make sure that i'm okay and he just comes off with this p*** a** attitude and tells me he cannot smog my car because I plugged in scan tool in front of him. I went to the official smog test station at the d.M v after I called them and told them what happened. They told me that legally, he cannot use my information, but you can advise me.And this thing about having my scandal plugged in when I pulled up, it was bogus. With that said i'm not going back. He needs to adjust his attitude and be nicer to his customers. read more

We arrived at this Smog check station to get our RV smoged shortly after 10:30 in the morning. There were no cars in front of us or behind us. As soon as my husband got out rather than saying "hi", "good morning " or any other greeting, the individual immediately sad "I can't smog this" & gave reasonings that could've been fixed by us turning the opposite direction. Stopped by here on my last day to renew my registration as it had completely slipped my mind that I needed a smog check. I don't know the name of the woman who helped me, but she was wonderful. Super efficient, funny, and performed the check without making me vacate the car which was kind as it was sunny (terrible) 113 degrees out. I was on my lunch break, but even with two cars in front of me, I think it took ten minutes or so then I was on my way back to work. Definitely won't hesitate to recommend this smog checking station, most painless experience I've had. read more

JOE is awful. don't know if I've just had great experiences in the past and Joe was the one to ruin it for me but I have a few things to say. 1. I've had the same car for 12 years and have always passed smog with flying colors and have never tampered with the smog or anything that has anything to do with it and he says tampered and fails me and doesn't even tell me what that means or what and how and insist I pay for the failed test when I start asking why I have to pay and where it says that he says he's going to call the police on me and have me arrested so I get a felony. WTH. 2. I'm on crutches and I've stayed in my car for many smog tests and I asked if I could since it's difficult and he makes me get out which now creates a long line and stand all just to fail me. He probably failed me because there was a long line and he felt like making my day worse with all honestly. 3. Visited eSmog today out of convenience...will go back due to service! I was in and out of the emissions control experience in less than ten minutes (which I prolonged by speaking to the delightful technician after she had finished the test...). They are located in the parking lot of a convenience store with gas station and a car wash...you could literally take care of all your vehicle's needs in one fell swoop. I LOATHE getting my car smogged every year...but this year didn't seem like such a chore, thanks to eSmog! read more

When I got there, a truck with a trailer on the back was getting a smog. I couldn't pull behind him without blocking the traffic to the gas station (which is in the same lot) so I parked in the parking spots adjacent to the eSmog instead. I was there for over 15 minutes waiting. Then, someone pulled up behind my parked car and cut me in line as soon as the truck was done. I tried to tell the attendant that I was there first, and he told me "Parked isn't in line." Ok, so I guess I should have just been blocking traffic instead then. Great, quick, and easy SMOG check. I usually go to Perfectt Auto for my SMOG as they have $10 checks, but then you're waiting for 15-30 minutes in their waiting room, then after they upsell you on services you don't need. I don't blame them. After sucking it up and just going here, it was so fast and so easy. Literally drive in and out service. They offer a coupon on the website that you need to physically print out to give them. All in all, worth the premium for convenience and lack of upsell. read more
