I had a problem with these people back in December but I knew they changed management so I figured I would take my husbands vehicle in for an oil change. Next thing I know they had it up on the rack telling me that I had no oil what so ever in my vehicle and that I needed a flush because there were metal shavings in the motor. I am no mechanic so I said go ahead, but I checked with 3 other mechanics and they said that was bull crap because it would not have run with no oil. So I contacted this facility and asked for the regional manager and was told I would have to send a email to corporate. I called another usa auto and they were more then happy to give me the number for the regional manager. After speaking with him I had a little bit of hope something might be done but after waiting 2 days for a call back i called again and he told me to send an email to corporate his hands were tied. What a joke. If corporate knows there is a problem they should be reaching out to me. I will eat the 79.00 and never step foot in this facility again. STAY AWAY from this place. Check engine light was on, they said i needed a new fuel pump and speed sensor. Charged me $2,700 I picked up my car, 5 min later check engine light was on again. I went back the following morning, they said I needed a new transmission, $7,000 estimate (I have a 2020 Nissan Armada with NO transmission problems). I took it to the Nissan Dealer, and I found out their job was so poor that I was now leaking gas (check the video!), also the fuel pump was NEVER replaced, same the speed sensor, as you can see in photos. They are AUTHENTIC CRIMINALS. I took legal action against them through WellsFargo. Got my funds back. Nissan said all my car needed was the replacement the fuel connector. I posted a very favorable review several years ago, I won't delete it, however I do greatly regret it. The ONLY thing I'd trust this place for is a DMV smog check, since they don't have to tinker with your vehicle to do it, and their price is substantially better than most other places. For several years, in-between factory service I had at a local dealership. USA Auto was the *only* place service place touching my car -- doing routine oil changes, radiator drain & antifreeze refill, and diagnosing/trying to fix a AC coolant leak. Despite a couple visits & about $200 to try to fix the problem, they never did get the air conditioning fixed, so I drove for several Summers with NO AC, until I replaced the vehicle. I sold the vehicle last year to a retired Master Mechanic & we actually become friends. He told me the AC coolant leak had just been a simple issue that was a known problem for the make/model/year of that vehicle & cheap & easy to repair. Perhaps more importantly, he'd noticed that many of the plastic pieces used to hold things like the radiator cowling, etc. were either completely missing, or damaged in a way indicating brute-force was used to pull things apart to access things in the engine compartment, instead of taking a few seconds to properly undo them. They can deny it all they want, but I do blame USA Auto for this, and in my opinion, one of the ways their prices are low is because they save labor time by not always doing things the correct way. Since discovering all this, I've learned a lesson and now take my newer vehicle to other places for routine servicing -- yes, I pay more, but I'm convinced I'm better-off in the long run. read more

DON'T SMOG YOUR CAR AT THIS PLACE! TLDR: Car never failed a smog check in 7 years. Went to this place and suddenly, Smog check failed and check engine light on. 2 days later and with no repairs done, check engine light disappeared, took the car to a different smog place and passed the smog check with no issues. How funny is that? LONG VERSION It was the first time ever doing my smog check at this place and certainly will be the last; I have my trusted place to smog my cars, but this USA Auto Service location in 1425 N Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89011 lured me with their $9.99 no coupons required so I ended up there thinking I would save a few bucks. Now, I've owned my ol' reliable 96 Toyota for over 7 years and NEVER failed a smog check before because of course I take care of it. Despite that, I was called to the outside and I was told that smog check failed. Guy started by assuring me that the check engine light was on but "someone" removed the codes to turn off the light and kept asking questions about the maintenance. I can assure everybody that NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON and I am the only one that drives the car so yes, I would know if something was wrong. Of course the guy tried to convince me to do the repairs there which of course I refused. Upon getting back to the car, sure enough the check engine light stayed on and also noticed the fuse box was open. No other smog place before needed to open the fuse box for anything. I left the place feeling uneasy about the entire thing but I figure I'd call my trusted mechanic to fix whatever the new problem was as I was in no rush to fix it. The really surprising part is that 2 days later, the check engine light disappeared on its own for good without any further troubleshooting or repair. Took the car to my regular smog spot and smog check passed without issues Very odd, isn't it? The icing on the cake: On their bogus "complimentary inspection" they indicated that the front shocks/ struts needed replacement. Funny thing is, those struts were brand new, Not even 3 months on LOL. read more

I called ahead before heading over, as I was on my way to work and wanted to ensure they could complete my smog check without wasting my time and gas. I was told there was no wait and that the service would take only 15 minutes. However, upon arrival, I was informed of a long wait. When I explained that I had just spoken to someone who assured me there was no wait, the office manager admitted that they tell everyone that, regardless of their actual workload. If you value honesty and efficiency, I would recommend choosing a different location. Use at your own risk! I took my car in today for a oil change for $20 providing my own oil and filter and asked for the left over oil to be placed back in my car, when I started to leave I noticed the oil jug of Liqui Molly was not in my car so I went to ask for it. The nice lady at the desk went to check on it and brought me back my oil which was completely full. I got upset, they offered to put it in and I said no and started to leave... wait it gets worse. I stopped before leaving the parking lot to check the filter and noticed it was a gram orange and black filter, the filter I brought was a gram all black filter so I went back asking about my filter and the service manager went into the pit and retrieved my new filter. When I got home I checked my filter and rubbed my finger over it and it was covered in dirt , the filter was not changed. I called and asked for a charge back and they said I would have to reach out to corporate via email so that is my next move and then onto the bureau of automotive repair. so they did the job they were set to do it only cost me 3500 bucks I went in saying I thought my car was leaking transmission fluid it wasn't however like my paperwork says it is slipping when I take off in first gear. my paper work also says but they do a full maintenance complementary vehicle inspection includes review of all maintenance items. Wouldn't that include the transmission fluid since that's what it said is above the description of free visual and no one checked it because it was completely empty completely so that's cool that I drove off there with no tranny fluid right trying to blow my car up so I have to come back again. Also says they do free tire rotation, but they didn't. 13 hours of labor for $1950. You would think that they would check the tranny fluid so yeah am I annoyed violet was nice. The manager was nice. They just didn't do what they were supposed to do like check my fluids I don't know why not that's what I was complaining about. other than that yeah they did the job. We brought our car here due to having to have a rebuild engine. We do have a insurance policy that covered the engine being rebuilt. This is what happened to us: 1) When we picked up our car, the AC that was working amazingly before we brought it in, is now no longer working. We thought maybe it just didn't get hooked back up properly, so we took the car back in. We then got a call informing us that all of a sudden our compressor is bad. Funny how it was fine when we took our car into USA Auto!!! I just went to pick the car up because at first they said it was going to be $2100 to fix it. Then they brought it down to $2000, then $1900. Then on Saturday they called and told us they could do it for $1500. Remind you, we have an insurance policy and it is covered, we called. 2) I am already aware that a compressor can be damaged during an engine restoration if the mechanic handled it improper. 3) We were told twice that the paperwork for the insurance company was filled out and sent in. We are still sitting her waiting for $10k. I found out today that that was a lie!! I was told today that it was our responsibility to do the paperwork. 4) There excuse today as to why the compressor isn't working is "I bought a used car". I have NEVER had a compressor in my AC on any of my used cars GO BAD!!! I cannot make this stuff up. I DO NOT recommend this place for anyone to bring their car. We are taking the car to Mercedes and they will tell us what has and hasn't been done!!!! And we will go from there...... read more

I had recently gone to their other location (704 S. Boulder Hwy) and had my oil changed and they tried to upsale me. A few weeks later my husband went to the 704 S. Boulder Hwy location for a smog check and the same thing happened - upsale. We were both hoping that this other location would be different, but sadly not. Just a little car shop on Boulder Highway. It caught my eye on Yelp because besides normal lube, oil change and light mechanic chores, they also mentioned they will work on scratch removals on paint jobs. So I'm an RV enthusiast and my Ford F-350 has an after-market tunneau who's left support collapsed due to a loose clamp. The owner had a young strong buck on staff that solved the riddle in quick fashion. One other customer request. I plan to soon travel Rocky Mountain states with my RV and Elon Musk-provided satellite dish. I asked the owner if he would drill a hole in my fiberglass tunneau cover so I could mount the dish there on a support pole. The hole was slightly larger than the pole to allow a cushioning grommet to shield my tunneau. The hole was drilled skillfully with no scratch marks and perpendicular to the surface. This was the perfect shop for me to find. Remember the days when you had an adventurous friend and you had off-the-wall needs like the two I described above? How much fun was it to improvise and get needs met. That's what it felt like dealing with this fearless owner and capable handymen. DONT BE SUCKERED! I needed a smog for my car and was drawn in by the $9.99 smog price. After sitting and waiting for them to run the smog check, i was called out to be shown a "leak in my coolant". I just had my oil and fluids inspected a week ago. The "leak" moisture was dry by time i made it home... this is how they're trying to make their money back. I had the heebie jeebies walking out- i wish i would've known about the "complimentary inspection" prior to patronizing the business. I feel as if my vehicle was tampered with and I'm NOT HAPPY. So, they told me I had bad control arms and axle, showed me the control arm "sagging" I also got new front breaks and rotors an oil change and fluid flush... after they put the new control arms on I asked to see them and they were sagging more than the original, I pointed it out and they played it off like no that's normal but you could see the guy knew it wasnt and told me it was warantied for two years and to bring it back if there's a problem...I said ok paid the very high price for all the work and left. The next day the brand new axel they put on was destroyed... brought it back they replaced the axle for free after two days of waiting for the part then 6 hours in the lobby... but my car was now pulling to the right which is the side the axle was on, they said they couldn't align it, to take it somewhere else and if they couldn't align it that the brand new control arms were bad and to bring it back... so it took some time to get it aligned about 3 weeks after the work was done my brand new rotors warped and are causing a major shimmy when driving. I took it to another mechanic to get aligned and told them to check the work these guys did and he said the control arms are fine but are of low quality, the cheapest you could get, the brake pads and rotors were the same.. now it's still under warranty and I'm sure they would fix it which is why they get a 2 instead of a one star. But I will not take my car back there, there is nothing that has worked properly afterwards and I spent a lot of money. For my own safety I will pay someone else to get my rotors and brake pads replaced. Use your judgment, they just want to make a sale and don't care about quality or performance. Update, I took it back to get my brake fixed under warranty... They said the control arms I paid $1600 for needed to be replaced... which were warrantied.. I spoke to a customer in the lobby about my experience as I had been in the shop 4 times to replace parts they installed days or weeks after they were installed... The tech came in and said since I was "talking bad about them" the voided all my warranties and sent me out... Truly the worst mechanic shop in town... I'm a school teacher I don't have $1600 to spare every bit of it went down the tube as all parts are defective and they won't replace them. Also the bad controls they put in are causing damage to other suspension parts... This is one of the worst experiences of my life... I will pray for these people... I went in to the shop with a headlight and taillight problem. I spent 3 hours waiting, 2 hours were of labor just for them to fix absolutely NOTHING. They would take smoke breaks during the hours of labor and that cause much more of the delay. On top of the poor customer service, my vehicle check engine light turned, Charles accused me of bringing in my vehicle like that even when showing I have proof my check engine light was not on whatsoever. Okay here's my story. My daughter's car had an issue. it smelled like a firework show after the show was over. the check engine light was on and flashing. It ran like crap. To say the least. So I take it to the USA Auto number 6 on 1425 n. Boulder Highway and was told that it needs a tune-up ,4 coil packs, the radiator is starting to leak and I should change all the fluids except the transmission. Total bill was going to be in the neighborhood of $1,060 . So in talking with the very helpful worker I asked him if I did everything would i get a discount doing multiple stuff? he got back to me in about 5 minutes and they basically knock 10% off. So I told him lets do it. The total amount I owe them was $976.80. When I went to pick up the car on Saturday morning they were saying that some of the fluids cost more than they thought and they tried to add about $50 to the bill. Covid-19 shutdowns have just ended Phase 1 we are in the early days of phase 2. I understand that their business could have been severely slow down by all the people out of work nobody having money. But... Its things like that. That make it hard to know who to trust mechanic wise. The car is running great. The quality of the work seems good. (I only got it back a couple of hours ago. So...?) I went to get a smog and I failed because the guys said I couldn't have something plugged into where they take the smog, there wasn't. I went to check after leaving and there was nothing plugged into the sensor, there are other plugs but definitely not the one for taking a smog. Went in for a simple smog check. Didn't go to my normal place so I would rate $10. I had no engine lights on and car running great. FAILED... quoted $3,600 but they could go down to $3,400. Of course NO WAY. I used some cataclean and put in premium gas, engine light went off. Took to my normal place and passed. Talking to my normal place, they told me if my engine light was not on when I brought it in it should have passed. One in a million it would just go on during the test. Do not go to USA for a smog test. Lesson learned. Only go to a smog testing place that does NOT also do the mechanic work! read more

I come here because the smog check is ten bucks. Decided to give there oil change a shot. They changed the oil on one of my cars no problem. When I brought in my wife's car the oil filter fell off the next day. We called and they couldn't care less. We towed the car in at our own expense and were greeted with the worst attitude. "I know who you are, sit down I'm in the middle of a transaction." After waiting for them to fix their mistake I was still treated as if she couldn't be bothered. Like I said when I showed up it was sit down I'm in the middle of a transaction, when the guy brought me in to do my paperwork nothing so I stepped outside so she could help the next victim. I dropped off the vehicle yesterday at 8:30 am and asked if he was going to call the warranty company today to see if they would go threw with the work that needed to be completed. Mark the manager never called my wife called him and asked if he called he lied to my wife and told her I did not drop the vehicle off until 11am and that the warranty company was already closed. Called today at 12:30 pm and he put us on hold because he just started calling while we were on hold. This man at this location is an unworthy and dis honest human being looking for a quick dollar. I would rather eat glass than have to deal with him as a manager. I don't recommend this location to anyone. read more

I brought my van here to see if they can help with a full diagnostic! No charge okay, then i asked for a coolant flush, they say okay $100 but we cant kuz the radiator is crack so they charge $400. Wait 2 entire days and they said its fixed and then we drove away overheated again! Took it back to the shop and they tell us because you are a family man i wont charge im gonna do a full diagnosis on the van when it is cool, so tomorrow okay. Then next day come no diagnosis was done and car is still broken. So i go to another shop that does an actually full diagnosis and there they found a problem! Which is blown head gasket! As a loyal customer of a year and a half since moving to Las Vegas and investing more than $2500 in preventable services I am no longer using this business or recommending it. I stopped in Saturday not asking for a freebie but, asking for them to check all fluid levels in my car and tire pressure as I'm traveling to California this week along with two senior dogs to attend my granddaughters graduation. I stressed the importance of my vehicle being safe . The lady at the counter was a little annoyed at my request but, after typing everything in she went out to the service department to speak with one of the employees. When I noticed that my car had been pulled around behind the service bay with the hood raised and she was speaking to him I went out to thank him and to make sure my request was being carried out again stating I was not expecting this to be free. He told me everything look good and when I asked about my tire pressure he looked at the tires and said they were fine. Yesterday on my way home from the movies my "change engine oil light" came on. I had an oil change 1000 miles ago and this was the first time this it happened. I no longer trust this business as they were willing to send me on the road through the desert without taking a few minutes to check the things I had requested. I did a little research and at 7:30 this morning was waiting at the door of Sansone's automotive. By 1 o'clock this afternoon The service manager, Chuck called to tell me there was a small oil leak near the oil pan and aside from my battery being low on charge all else was well including the air pressure in my tires.
