They were to add a raised deck to my already existing raised deck, with a planter box at one end down below, stairs on other side and slab down below. The slab turned out 6 inches higher than the rest of my lower deck. Were supposed to run low volt electric and water lines for drip to planter...Well, they poured the concrete over the conduit and drip lines and now I have no water or electric on other side of deck, which abuts the retaining wall and original raised deck. I have raised stubs of PVC pipe, though, LOL. With the raised slab, nowhere for water to run off by pool equipment in storms. Konstantin disappeared. Partner Mikhail finally responded, but only fixed drain pipe that was too high. Promised he would fix all other issues but never did. Would recommend using someone else!!

Had Tonny come over and see what he could do to complete the job. Gave me a competitive quote and a timeline that I liked. Tonny completed the job in less time than it took the first guy and his team to just demo some existing builder-grade tiles in my front entryway. The new flooring looked great and Tonny saved me a bunch of material that would have been wasted if the previous guy completed the job. The second time I called Tonny was for the renovation of my master bathroom shower surround. Had him remove the builder-grade corian shower walls and tub surround backsplash. He installed the subway tiles and shorted the pony wall. Looked great and felt more roomy after the job was done. Would call on Tonny again for any projects he can handle.

It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate that way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. We were surprised by how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. They arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)

Their guys worked non-stop including weekends to finish the job. They weren't the fastest, but this is because they were VERY meticulous. The end result was BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't ask for a better result. My general contractor also hired some horrible sub contractor to do our stucco, who ended up deserting the job. Alex and a couple of his workers came to the rescue...they picked up the job where the original sub left it off, fixed all of his mistakes (and believe me, there were too many to count). FYI...not many contractors agree to pick up someone else's job/mistakes. Alex went above and beyond to make it look like it supposed to. He even fixed stuff that I didn't ask him to, but bothered his eyes. Another important thing I must mention, that might be trivial, but it's not after working with so many contractors...they did a really clean job, protected everything, picked up their trash and left a clean job site...all translate to "professional contractors!!!"
