Barista (nice lady!) is friendly in a non-overly chatty sort of way (which is great when you're not caffeinated in the morning), just amazing. Clearly she has a rapport going with the regulars, which is great to watch. Food is good, nothing fancy but I like it like that. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but I think coffee is fantastically made. Serving coffee drinks with ice, like those at Starbucks back home, is not a thing. And cold brew is not as prevalent, if at all, at some spots like it is in the States. Bloomsbury Coffee House is actually downstairs, below street level. There is probably two tables in the outdoor downstairs. There is more seating indoors that spans two rooms. Overall, how would I describe the ambiance? Sweet and cozy. Perfect for discussing schoolwork over a cuppa.

I was pleased that they had cold brew available. I enjoyed a cold brew with cherry foam that helped perk me up and kept me from falling into deep coma. The location is small and narrow. They do have counter seating overlooking Marylebone Road with traffic bustling at all hours. The queue tends to be manageable depending on the time of day. Our drink orders were done quickly where we had ours within a couple of minutes. The baristas were friendly and patient as we determined on our orders, so all in and all we were pleased.

At the moment they are using a home machine while they get themselves set up but that has not impacted the quality of brew. A proper machine should arrive next week. Second, the staff. Super friendly and helpful - I was given recommendations for places to visit in Leeds (my second home) and are generally good natured and a pleasure to talk to. Third, the location.
