From the beginning, they told me they were only inputting the top set of my braces and my concern was, WHY? Considering only my top braces would endure pain and I would still return and feel pain for the bottom now, too? The day of my installment was this past Tuesday. They placed both the top and bottom set. I was happy for both being placed but it came as a mere surprise. I would of liked to know what they were doing first off and inform the patient appropriately and not been so wishy washy. I am upset because my braces have not been installed nor diagnosed correctly. I called and complained. After two days of no follow up from the practice, I find on the third day they are happy to set an appointment with me a WEEK later. Mind you, my face is completely swollen, I can not eat and the brackets are poking my cheeks since day one. An e-mail I wrote to the office: Christy, There is something wrong with the installment of my braces. I can not chew at all because my wisdom teeth do not touch at all. There is literally a one inch gap. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. My cheek tissue continue to tear. The metal has been poking my cheeks and my face continues to be swollen. It is very noticeable. The orthodontist assistant did not glue the brackets correctly on my mouth because they do not stay!! On top of that, she left a spacer inside my mouth. How does she not notice that??? Also, I called on Wednesday and your receptionist promised to return my call with a follow up and never did. I called on Thursday with the same complaint except more major and she promised to follow up THAT day and never did. Finally, Friday, today, I hear something from her. That is just terrible. Does your staff even care about there patients? I am very upset at the lack of professionalism for this practice. This is a very expensive procedure that costs me $6,000 and I can't believe how much of a terrible time I am having with the endless list of malfunctions. I need you to do something about this, all of this.

And now I'm going every 6 months for cleanings. They don't push the latest money maker like "deep cleanings", etc. They provide the service you ask for and gently try to steer you in the direction that's best for you (like coming back for regular cleanings).
