I've been going to this salon since I moved to Anaheim, and I'm really glad I found this place. I especially like Tina -she is an excellent nail technician for local manicure services. She is always friendly and always looks beautiful and professional. Glad I tried this salon convenient location and suprisingly good ambiance which is far from what it looks like outside. Been going here since October this year for Gel X manicures & Gel pedicures and everytime my nails gets lots of compliments. Tina does a great job on making my inspo nails come to life. (See pics for reference) The foot/pedicure spa is okay, could be better in terms of scrub & massage but it is not so bad. At least, i still get somewhat spa treatment that are rare on places i usually go to because they only do dry pedicures. Plus all the ladies that helped me with pedicure spa were really nice & sweet. I called on a Wednesday afternoon if they were accepting walk in and they told me I could come in around 1:45 pm. I do like how friendly the staff is here. I requested gel pedicure and manicure but ended up getting gel x to get some length. It's a very clean spot and in total I think i was there for 90 minutes. I think what took the longest is that I asked for French tip on my toes. I do like the quality of how both came out. I could have just done a simple gel pedicure but wanted a self care day of getting the massage and scrub and leg mask and hot towels so I did the one under the most expensive but kind of regret paying that much for what felt rushed. My leg massage was 7 minutes but it felt like minimal effort into it. The hot towels were just kinda warm. The leg mask was on me maybe 1 minute and the scrub felt like it didn't even scrub me with how low effort of putting it on felt. I think because I was willing to pay more for the extra stuff I wanted it to feel better. Besides that I do think this is a good spot. Maybe I should have been more vocal about what I wanted but I get a little shy or just expected them to do better. read more

She was so nice and patient with my indecisiveness and the end result looked SO GOOD. I had such a hard time picking the color for my nail and Nancy probably brushed on 4 colors before I settled on this beautiful brown and she was always so patient and made sure I loved the color. She referenced an image I provided to her and was so meticulous with the design, she even stayed a little late after closing to finish my design flawlessly (sorry!!) Came in for a regular gel pedicure today and was attended by a new employee. Unfortunately, it took an hour and a half for a gel pedicure to end with bumpy gel, uneven nails, and filled cuticles. Pedicurist did not feel confident with what she was doing even in trimming down my nails or scrubbing my feet. Had to ask for more scrubbing and cleaning around my nails and still left unsatisfied. :( Seasoned employees are usually really good but I am disappointed in this experience.. if you are going to charge the same amount for services, please make sure you are hiring trained nail professionals that can at-least cut and clean nails or ensure that you are training them to ensure they are doing a decent job on a regular client. read more

First Timer honest review: They have various options well-priced. I opted for the 2nd tier pedi $30 includes scrub and warm lotion/ 7 min massage. Not worth it, I've had better elsewhere. No timer either so it felt more like 5 mins massage or less. Heel scrub was more like a gentle rub. Stick to the basic $20 pedi instead. My BIGGEST CRITICISM: Unsanitary! The lady didn't change her gloves after and hopped onto the next client, tools were not labeled clean or soiled, and the yellow heel scrubber she used was not disposed of!! and the little tray was rinsed with water then out back! I wanted to like the place but unsanitary practices is a gamble for your toes. If they improve that, the place would be great. Oh well! I still gave them a good three stars because the lady was detailed with the cleaning of my nails and did great polish work. But please please practice better health standards! read more

I was looking for a new nail place that was closer and found this hidden gem. It was very last minute I decided to chance it and just go in without making an appointment. It was Saturday around 1pm, I arrived and the nice lady there told me she can take me in right away. She was very friendly and nice. This place is clean and cutely decorated. There were 1 other girl there getting her nails done. The salon had these clear separation plastic wall things up from where you get your nails painted. It is located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. They have a variety of colors and styles to choose from. The nail tech (I forgot her name) who did my pedicure was very sweet and listened to what I wanted. She did a great job. They accepted Venmo as a form of payment I think it's probably because of covid. I would recommend this place. I plan to go back soon! read more

I think I've found my nail salon in the area! I came in on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to take me as a walk in. The workers here are very friendly and the salon is very open, clean, and bright inside despite it being in a pretty sketch strip mall. I requested a pedicure and loved the whole experience. I love the way she does my dip powder. My set always look super nice and lasts all month. I love the color selection here. There's alot of natural colors compared to other places I've been to. Went for the first time for a full set. I called ahead for an appointment at 1 and they could take me at 1:30. Nice, clean, and pretty shop. I love my Vietnamese people, they remind me of my mom. Tina did my acrylics. She was very nice and light handed. I had a design in mind and showed her photos. She recreated them for me with no problem & a little interpretation, which I was totally fine with. I always worry that nail techs won't be able do what I want from what I see online (IG & Pinterest). $70 for full acrylic set, long, coffin, hand-painted design, each hand different color. I saw some good reviews so was really excited to check this place out - considering this was my first visit to nail salon since Covid started, I was really excited! I got gel manicure and regular pedi. Pedi lady was great! She took care of the cuticles well and color was applied evenly. But gel mani was not the best.. I was able to see small bubbles on the nails, told the technician, but she was kept saying "I can't see it". She tried fixing it but was keep applying another layers so made the nails look bumpy. At least she tried fixing it but honestly, it's not the best quality. And my nails look dirty afterwards. Recommendation : I would appreciate better skilled technician next time, please have hot towels ready (first time seeing a nail salon without steamed towels), applying oils afterwards will make the nails look better..! Overall service was really really fast. I arrived at 6:15, waited 5-10min, got back into my car at 7:10. Not sure if I'll come back but hopefully my review would be helpful to both owner & others. read more

Tram and her mom are the sweetest! My nails desperately needed to be tended to after getting engaged with 3+ weeks grown out nails. Tram's mom removed off my old set and reshaped my nails with a new set of dip, making them much thinner and natural looking on my real nails. Thankfully I already have length on my natural nails, but I love how dip helps my nails feel more strong with a couple layers of powder. Tram and her mom made sure I was happy with the color and shape. Tram's mom took her time and made sure everything was nice and even. I got a light dusty pink dip and ended up getting marble designs on my ring fingers, I really liked how subtle she did the marble. As someone who was a consistent customer for a little over 2 years, I have so much to say about Tram. If you're looking to get your lashes done, please look elsewhere, it'll save yourself a lot of stress. It blows my mind that she thinks she is capable of running a business because she is by far the most unprofessional person I have received service from. My first issue occurred when I realized my fill looked off. I asked tram and she said she has no idea what the issue was. Long story short after several texts back and forth trying to figure out what was wrong, she said she was using a new brand of lashes and the d curl she was using may not have been the same d curl as the one she's using now. I was infuriated and shocked that she failed to even mention the new change to me. Since then, I feel as if our relationship became awkward and it was to the point I didn't feel comfortable requesting her for any changes regarding my lash set. Now what's my biggest issue with her work ethic, is her passion for gossiping. Word comes around goes around. Don't refer your friends to her because boy, she will put words in your mouth to start drama and cause chaos between your friends. It's evident that she thrives off of gossip. There have been multiple incidents where she played the he said she said game. Not sure what she gets out of it.... At the end of the day, her quality lashes are ok. If you take good care of your lashes they should stay on for 3 weeks (from my experience) but the lash tech herself is a horrible person. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I went last Saturday to get a dip manicure and regular pedicure and even though I was a bit taken aback by how much the workers were up-selling me, I left happy because my nails looked amazing! However, within a few days two of my nails broke off for no reason and when I asked the salon how much it is for a repair, they told me to come in free of charge. When I came in, I had to wait 30 minutes even though I had an appointment time. Then when I was attended to, the woman who fixed my nails cut off part of the skin on my pinky, giggled, and said "it's ok, it's just dead skin" without asking me if I was ok (it really hurt). Unfortunately, now I have two nails that are a lot thicker and a different shape from the others. I didn't think my nails could ever look as good as how they do now! I started going to Essential Nail & Spa earlier this year and I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the salon. I appreciate how they took proper safety precautions due to COVID. They are very thorough with their social distance policies and are always properly masked. The salon space looks very clean and hygienic, so that was a huge plus for me. Now for my nails! I've been going to Tina for my dip nails and I absolutely love how they turn out every time. I always ask for an almond shape to my nails and she always carefully files them until they are the perfect shape. I'm sure it's due to Tina's skill with the dip products, but my nails normally stay good for 3 weeks! My nails don't chip off and the original coat of dip always stays in place. And that's with me lifting weights, boxing and working in healthcare. I love it! I cannot recommend getting dip with Tina enough. Pricing wise, I'd say it's fair! My nails grow long and I think the dip powder prevents my nails from breaking. Length wise I don't need acrylics so for a set of dip on my natural nails, it cost me $45 and I give tip as well. For the times when I'm feeling more spicy, I'll ask for a design I see from Instagram or Pinterest and Tina does such a good job. The extra design may cost an additional $5-15 depending on the complexity. I think it's worth it to be happy whenever I look at my hands lol. Plus, I always get compliments on my nails. Lastly, if by now you are still not convinced to try this place out, let my photos do the convincing for me lol. The staff is very friendly and they accommodate scheduling very well!
