When we learned she would be transferred, I was nervous -- as any parent would be -- but then we met Dr. Chakra and his incredible assistant, Kaitlyn, and everything changed. Dr. Chakra is not only knowledgeable, but deeply compassionate. He truly sees my daughter, not just her diagnosis. He listens, he cares, and he treats her whole person -- her mind, her heart, and her future. After years of trying local doctors who rushed us in and out with quick prescriptions and no real answers, Amen Clinics felt like the first place that genuinely wanted to understand her. This journey hasn't been easy, but the growth we've seen over these seven years is nothing short of amazing. The progress my daughter has made has given us hope, peace, and a sense of stability we never thought we would have. If you're on the fence about coming here, don't be. It is worth every penny -- for your child, and for your peace of mind. We are forever grateful to Dr. Chakra, Kaitlyn, and the entire Amen Clinics team for changing our lives.

The billing department cancelled all my scheduled appointments, citing that payments were past due. However, when I would login to my dashboard, the billing section stated, 'no action needed.' I reached out via chat and spoke with Peter who confirmed that my account was in good order and no payment was necessary. Despite reviewing the details of my dashboard and providing the billing department with a transcript of Peter's confirmation, they still claimed my account would be 'paused until payment has been received;' thus blocking me from meeting with my therapist (during a very tumultuous time in my life). The billing department claims you can contact them via email but they will never respond; just know you are emailing The Void. When I called, I was never able to reach anyone who could help me and the representatives are consistently rude and dismissive. The average phone call lasted around 49 minutes. I finally escalated to multiple supervisors....but still NO resolution was reached until I roped my therapist in, who said she would inform her supervisor. In the end, after significant effort on my and my therapist's part (after multiple weeks of back and forth), Thriveworks was able to resolve the technical issue they created. They offered NO remedies for the inconveniences they created, not even an apology. TLDR: DO NOT CHOOSE THRIVEWORKS. Their administrative department has NO professionality or accountability and will make your life miserable due to their own technical errors. In the end, the only reason I continued my relationship with Thriveworks is due to how excellent my therapist Shira is!

I was so upset this happened and they ou let me knoe at the end of the day. the bcba accidentally added me to an email that she asked the boss (owner wife) what she should say to me before I saw my child's injury. you would have thought they would have reached out to apologize or address my concern. they didn't even respond or care. .my bill was always in the thousands, double billed etc. I was even advised by the owner to get the insurance he likes with a insurancr broker he knows after paying him a fee of 85.00. the professional thing would have been to just tell me the name of the anthem plan so I can buy it for free under the marketplace but no you pay him a referral fee to help you get a plan he likes that they can charge unlimited aba of which your child may not need. they always request more hours than needed as the charge nearly 1600 a DAY. there is no education they are doing that is special. he will even dissuade you from putting your cild in school so he can make over 150k a year from your insurance. he is a sales man and couldn't care less about the progress of your child. get your child in home aba. they generalize it better as being in a center is slower progress if ANY. then put them in prek. my child is not only talking at nearly age level but also potty trained in less than 3months of leaving that place. watch your tab!!! they will bill EVERYTHING. they wanted me to pay 15 for a bookbag the said broke a clear cheap bookbag..when I asked how does a bookbag break and and refused they were upset. For 1:1 care my child being injured was terrible. her eye was red. I can post a picture. also SPEECH was a joke.. they were playing YouTube through ever session i attended and had the nervr to bill 245 for a session for 30 minutes. typical places charge 90. OT was 350 a session! this place bilks money. m

I provided every paper work needed and I contacted them every so often to check on my status in hopes to have my son with an ongoing schedule, but nothing! There was always some kind of excuse for my files to not be looked at by the billing department. Mind you, my insurance covered it all and I did everything right on my part. It was a serious headache. From getting all of the paper work the owner was asking for to the communication of him. I had to look somewhere else and I'm so glad I did because the following week, I received services. Until this day, many many weeks later, the owner hasn't reached out to me. How pathetic of a place.

She replied by simply saying she had cc'ed her office manager, who could answer my questions and schedule me for a session with Dr. Nassar. For anyone with intense daily anxiety, time is very important. We need help from the hell in our minds asap. Dr. Nassar seems to be another example of a, "pay me first and then I'll tell you if I can potentially help you" psychologist. With that mind set, those if us on the edge and needing help will just have to go through several first visits with several psychologist and tell our story and explain our symptoms several times and pay several hundreds of dollars in the meantime. And if you're like me, there are times you have laid in bed in the deepest of anxiety hells, contemplating pulling the trigger just to escape the intense fear in your head. The clock may be running out on people like you and me. We don't have time for psychologist that won't simply say, "yes, I've seen this before and I believe I can help. I'll have my office manager contact you." Hang in there. There are good psychologist out there. And we'll find them. I hope.

Large, clean facility equipped with all the supplies you could need for therapy with Autism. Plenty of parking. Serves patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder from preschool age to adulthood. They also provide professional development training for school staff. This training is specific to each school district. Phone: (678)691-2206 Email: Intake@pathwaysbehavior.com My Experience I took C to the Sandy Springs location for ABA Therapy. This was C's first appointment so we got a tour of the facility. There are two levels with classrooms, assessment rooms, and play areas. Each classroom and play area is set up for a specific age group. After the tour we went into an assessment room where the therapist, Katie, asked both of us questions about C, then C went with a PCA for a session of peer support. There weren't any other kids C's age so two PCAs played peer roles to work on social skills. I answered questions with Katie and filled out a questionnaire about behaviors that C may exhibit. C had another hour of evaluation when I finished so I waited outside. C usually finishes therapy appointments mentally drained and ready to sleep but she enjoyed this session. The lighting soft and it was pretty quiet, so C wasn't set off by lights or sounds. Covid Precautions Masks are required and worn by all staff. Masks, hand sanitizer, and device wipes are available at the reception desk. I saw no one in the waiting area while going in or leaving so they may be staggering appointments to keep distance. Facility There are four locations: Marietta, Sandy Springs, McDonough, and Alpharetta (Johns Creek). This appointment was at the Sandy Springs location, which is pretty spacious. In the waiting area are some individual sofa seats, a tall table with four chairs, and a kid table. Just off the waiting room is a gender neutral bathroom with step stools, baby wipes, diaper disposal, gloves, and baby wipes. Patient bathrooms are closer to classrooms. There are a few classrooms set up by age or purpose. There's a teen room with video games, a preschool play area with a toddler slide, a gym area with mats and other toys, and a room where patients where patients work on social skills in group therapy. They have a kitchen where older patients work on life skills like preparing food. Only two handicap parking spaces but reserved spaces right at the front door, and more along the side of the building. There isn't much of a walk from wherever you park. About Pathways Pathways offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to those preschool age-adulthood who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, or another related disorder. I would never recommend this facility to anyone who cares about the safety and well-being of their child. Parents and grandparents deserve to know exactly who they are trusting with their children. Do your own research, ask questions, and demand to see what really happened--not just what the facility tells you. And please do not assume that all those five-star reviews tell the whole story.
